Decent service, but uninspiring food. Copita offers a fair variety of spanish cuisine dishes on their alluring menu but unfortunately most of the dishes we ordered were a bit too salinated for our preference. The portions are on the smaller side given the prices on the menu. Service staff were great and attentive. Definitely the highlight of our visit. Recommend: Beef onglet, King Prawns, Red wine (all were great) Avoid: Sourdough olives, black rice While overall the experience was positive, there are better alternatives in soho. For a filling meal expect to spend £30-40 per person

Amazing tapas with lots of variety for everyone. We had the mushroom croquetas, jamon croquetas, patatas bravas, artichoke, and chicken . Everything tasted incredible, make sure to try the croquetas and chicken which were my fav. Great service too!

Ordered food. Was expecting the glass of wine and snack. One waitress on phone, guy behind bar faffing around. Pour a glass of wine for me. 10 minutes. Your food looked great but serve me please, kind request and get the waiting staff to know how dishes come out. I left, I'm not going to beg for a glass of wine.

Great place! The quality and taste of the food were incredible! The octopus was one of our favorites!! The staff was very friendly and helped us with the food selection! We highly recommend it!

Awesome Spanish food! We were a large party. We litterally had every single item from the menu to keep them coming. The staff was incredible and the food was exceptional. The “croquetas de jamon” and the “jamon iberico de bellotas” were the best of the bunch. Don’t miss the desserts, they are great too!

I have visited Copita several times, and I have to say the last time I have been there I noticed much higher prices, lower food quality and less nice staff. The food is good but too expensive for small tapas

We had lunch at Copita Fitzrovia yesterday and loved it. The team were lovely and very accommodating for a walk in lunch. The food was delicious - highly recommend the pan con tomate. We also had the seafood dishes which were lovely. We'll be back. Thank you!.

The food at Copita was phenomenal, however the service was quite horrible. After being in the restaurant for approximately an hour and a half we were told we were going to have to leave as the next party needed to be seated at our table. We were actively eating and drinking a bottle of wine. I had shared with the server that we had only recently received our food, and my comment was completely dismissed. We were planning to order dessert/another bottle of wine had we not been asked to leave our table. This is especially disappointing seeing as Copita serves Spanish tapas, and this type of treatment could not go more against Spanish culture. Would not recommend eating here unless you are comfortable with eating and leaving quickly.

Lovely vibe, good warm ambiance & service is lovely. Food is good, not traditional Spanish food but they take Spanish inspiration to make fancier plates. They were really good, 4/5. The scallops were a bit overcooked but the aubergine & sweet potato bravas were standouts. The service was great. Good staple place to go for a quick bite & a catch up

Fantastic food, would highly recommend

quite lovely tapas and casual atmosphere. the mushroom croquettes were by far the best. they were the perfect texture and the filling was tasty and not overly creamy. the truffled goat cheese was also wonderful, but definitely a dish for sharing as the truffle gets a tad overpowering by the end. the ox cheek had great flavor and the potato purée was smooth and decadent. however, the squid unfortunately felt more like a rice dish given the ratio of rice to squid. the cauliflower also would have benefited from a bit more seasoning to better complement the wonderful sauce.

I recently dined at Copita, a Spanish restaurant in London, and was delighted by their delectable tapas-style dishes. The Serrano ham paired with homemade bread, olives, and olive oil was a flavorful start, showcasing the finest, freshest ingredients. The artichoke and cauliflower dishes were equally delightful, but the ox cheek dish left me slightly disappointed due to an excess of fat and limited meat content. However, the exceptional wine selection and the warm, friendly staff added to the overall enjoyable dining experience.

The place is fine; just a word of warning there is very little on the menu that is suitable for people with a nut allergy and the allergens aren’t well signposted. Basically everything on the menu is cooked in peanut oil. We ended up just getting a cheese board and a bottle of wine and going somewhere else.

Un lugar mágico donde disfrutar por las recónditas calles del boulevard de Soho.. Con comida típica española por referencia, cabe destacar las espectaculares croquetas de boletus con las que os chupareis los dedos. La carrillera que se deshacía en la boca, y su jamón de bellota que te transportará a España nada más probarlo. Por último y por ello no menos importante, destacar el personal, cercano y maravilloso, todos ellos excelentes personas, Julio nos hizo sentir como en casa, volveremos seguro, gracias!

Best place in soho for dining or just having a drink. Great atmosphere and excellent service! Definitely a must go in London!!

The last time I went there I had to wait for a long time to get my food and my drinks. at one point the waitress completely forgot about my order. The first time I went was better, the atmosphere was still nice

Ok to be fair I don’t think I really like Spanish food - or maybe that’s after visiting this place. Either way - the wine was none too exciting to start with, the rosé tasted like vinegar, the tempranillo was acid, no bouquet full bodied. The staff were overwhelmed and to top it off there was a banshee with an Australian accent who sounded like she was let out of her cage for the first time in a generation. PS: the lamb rump was way too rare in parts, if you’re bringing it in bloody, some advance notice is appreciated.

Super Spanish tapas...good range of options served at high tables.. benches really, so unless you have a party of ten, you'll need to share the space. One table was very loud when I went, which spoilt my experience a little..maybe I wanted to join them!! Food was tasty, mix of sizes..so I suggest you order 3 each... Staff were attentive and friendly. A must visit restaurant.

Nice buzzy place for tapas. Only 4 stars because the dishes were quite small for the prices (I guess that’s soho) and not too memorable. Fun place to share a bottle and have some snacks.

Favorite tapas in London! Highly recommend

We had a very well served time here. The staff was attentive and friendly and provided good recommendations. All of our plates were very tasty - though we had certain favourites. Had all plates been of equivalent deliciousness I'd have been more pleased, but our experience couldn't be faulted.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the ox cheek, tiger prawns and black ink rice. Obviously very well located and this quite pricey for very small amounts of food. Food arrived relatively soon after ordering and waiter was only slightly impatient due to the large amount of diners.

I went here a couple of times while in Soho. We just found it by chance. The food was absolutely delicious 😋, everything we did delicious 😋 Service was great, very friendly. The value for the quality, quantity and cost was outstanding. I would definitely eat here again Thank you 😊

Overrated. Spanish tapas with a twist but to be fair the twist is not good. I would prefer normal tapas without this fusion changes, did not make sense and fid not make dishes more tasty. Service was good. Wine selection also good.

Great food, a slightly different take on the traditional tapas, which makes it stand out from most of the Spanish places in London. Lovely service as well!

The food was ok, however the service was terrible. They gave our food to the wrong table, made us wait another 45 minutes for our last dish which never showed up and we were told we needed to “be more patient.” The tuna tartare and prawn dishes were bland, would not recommend. The quality of the food was not worth the miserable service experience.

A slice of Spain in Soho - what a gem! Ate here before going to a show. Service was decent and quick and got a table without reservation easy. Having spent 2 weeks in Andalusia the week before, the decor and atmosphere felt like being back there - and the food was amazing. Ordered 6 dishes (and a dessert) and all were fantastic.

Absolutely 5* experience, where the lively atmosphere (definitely enlivened by the amazing gin cocktail list) doesn’t take the focus away from the outstanding Northern Spanish cuisine: dishes are small plate sized so you can share and sample all the incredible flavours of Copita. I’ve been a fan for years, and it is only getting better! Highlights on our last visit were the sweet potato bravas with aioli and peanuts, scallops with cauliflower purée and chorizo and the divine press iberica (incredibly tender and tasty Spanish pork). £120 for two with cocktails and many little plates.

Food was really tasty, especially the sweet potato dish bravas dish. Only downside is that it's a little bit expensive given the small plates (being tapas and all)

Please invest customer relationship !!! I Could not taste food because need to leave and I can say defo negative managament! They make worse our Friday on my bff birthday with limited 1 hour corner table even if had reservation

Awful and overrated place! This could be the worst management and staff experience I’ve ever had in my life. My friends booked this place last week so we could celebrate my birthday. We were 3, and they put us in the worst table possible, no way to turn to us or speak. Also they have mentioned in the morning confirming it will be birthday… that table could be good for 2 but not 3, and it was really awfully located. When my friend flagged this, they put us on a different table however the waitress said we had to leave in an hour as there will be a group of people for birthday party there. Since I arrived and was waiting for other friend, I saw the waitress and the (possibly) manager speaking to each other, looking angrily towards us which isn’t very nice. When our friend arrived, we told if there is any other table we won’t need to move around, the manager kept cutting us without letting us speak, talking very rude and loud… I was shocked. If he could talk nicer, we would still understand the way of how they work and accept it/leave it and not get so angry but he was honestly not stopping talking/shouting. We were talking very nicely as one of my friend there also works at restaurant so she knows how busy/stressful it can be. BUT this is not an excuse for such a bloody rude behavior from a customer service point of view. I’ve been living here for 4+ years, been to sooo many different restaurants but never had this kind of experience. It spoiled our evening and it’s Friday in London, so you can imagine…

Don't expect a traditional Spanish menu, classic dishes with a nice twist to it. Impressed with the food we had, was actually delicious. We shared the plates between two people and with some bread on the side was filling & good dinner. downside - the portions which are not appealing for the price. Expect to spend at least £40 with just one beer as a drink.

The staff were very friendly so service was good but the food varied in quality. Some of the dishes like the patatas bravas and mushroom croquettes were a really pleasant take on the traditional dishes but some of the other dishes like the black squid ink paella were a let down as it tasted very bland. The food is quite expensive but that is to be expected in most Spanish restaurants in central london.

I absolutely loved the food and service at this place. We ordered the scallops (delicious), the chicken thigh (delicious), the beef (also delicious), and the mushroom croquettes (out of this world delicious). Also had the churros, which came with that melty hot chocolate thing that I loved. The friendly service was the cherry on top. Would definitely come back here.

9.5/10! Love everything we ordered apart from the black ink rice. We saw mixed reviews for the beef onglet but it was quite tender and had nice rich flavor-very satisfying. And if you still have some room for the desserts they are unbelievably good!

值得一試的西班牙餐廳，雖然沒有西班牙海鮮燉飯Spanish Paella，但是許多其他餐點都很棒，照片中的燉牛頰，墨魚燉飯飯，還有甜點都很棒，點餐前如果不知道該點什麼，菜單看不懂，可以追蹤他們的IG 上面有每個餐點的照片與名字，會方便很多。

Pros: Food was good and staff was very friendly. Cons: 1.Electronic dance music (EDM) blaring inside a very small dining establishment isn't my cup of tea. 2. No A/C.

Came here on a Thursday evening for dinner with some friends. We had made a reservation prior but it wasn't actually that busy with some empty seats at 6pm. I was greeted by a member of staff nicely and got seated almost immediately. Friends arrived shortly after and we decided to order separate tapas since two of them were vegetarians. I shared the sweet potato bravas, grilled squid with black ink rice and beef onglet with one friend. The sweet potato bravas were honestly the highlight of my entire meal - sweet, savoury with the special creamy sauce and the nuts on top really brought out all the flavours and it was extremely morish. The black ink rice, on the other hand, was disappointingly bland. We had high hopes for this dish because we saw so many photos of it on Google maps but we had to add lots of salt to it to make it better. But perhaps this was the most authentic way to cook it and we just didn't like it. The beef onglet was also very chewy and we couldn't really taste much beef in it. The shallot on the side helped but overall it took us a long time to chew before swallowing and texture it just wasn't the best. My vegetarian friends quite enjoyed their tapas I think. They ordered the artichokes and fried peppers, as well as the mushroom croquettes and they seemed to enjoy every single one of the tapas. Overall, the vibes were nice with high chairs and high tables so this place is good for both social gatherings and dates. But even though they have been recommended by Michelin a few times I just didn't think it was the kind of food quality I was looking for. Apart from the sweet potato bravas, I wouldn't really recommend anything else. But this is all just my personal opinion.

Mixed bag. Buñelos were gluey and couldn't detect any ham in the ham croquettes. Ox cheek and fried chili peppers were good. No cocktails. Sat on a counter facing a wall so that wasn't great but other seats were better.. Barrafina does a much better job imho.

What a disaster of a place. Horrible unauthentic, overpriced Spanish food and disappointing service. Definitely what you could class as a typical central London tourist trap/low quality restaurant. If you understand anything about food or Spanish cuisine you'll want to avoid this place and go somewhere else.

We were a group of 5 and totally squished (despite making the reservation over a month ago). Food was a hit and a miss. Don’t order seafood, but pork dish and aubergine dish were great. Wonderful service and attentive staff.

Underwhelming experience. Seafood wasn’t fresh enough imo, although octopus was good portion. Squid ink rice was too fishy to us. Iberian pork was ok but nothing special. Pork cheek was very tender, I would say the best but still lack of a little of something I don’t know. Overall disappointing as I was expecting amazing food according to the other reviews. Not as nice as some local restaurants in Spain

Incredible Spanish and excellent value. We shared 7 dishes and had plenty leftover to take home (5-6 including dessert probably best for 2 people). Every dish has something special about it and I would order again…favourites were the apple crumble, artichoke and prawns. Portions were generous.

Copita is a nice place to enjoy Spanish tapas dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff are knowledgeable about the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience. The only gripe was that my favourite garlic prawns were missing. Oh also they are quite strict about the 90 minute table booking.

Such delicious food in great presentation too, portion size is just about right. Ordered four plates to share between the two of us, perfect. The bunuelos is a must try, beef onglet highly recommended too.

Really good food. We had five plates between two and they were cooked very well. I didn’t want each plate to end. Only dropping a star as portions feel too small for prices too high. I wasn’t full. I like Octopus but couldn’t bring myself to order it for £19. If you’re not bothered by cost, definitely come here as the food is superb. We were brought the wrong bill twice. Relieved we noticed as we would have paid considerably more than we ordered. They did apologise. Didn’t detract from how good the food was.
