The food is nice but the place is a bit too noisy for my taste. Maybe it's better to go there with a group of friends instead of trying to have a romantic dinner.

Wonderful dinner, very good tapas food. The sangria is very delicious, and the store clerk is Spanish and very enthusiastic. It is a good place to relax, chat and drink.

After living in Spain for many years, it was good to have the classics (chorizo, jamon, pimientos de patron, gambas, presa iberica). All media-racion at best. Not cheap (142 £ for 2 pax and 6 dishes plus wine & bread). Excellent friendly and fast service. Biggest issue is the thumping bass music that makes conversation difficult. Once you are back out on the street, it's like "aahh! No noise".

Unbelievable food and drinks. David gave me an unbelievable margarita with home made sours. I ate incredible sea bass ceviche, (I know it’s South American, but I will go back for that alone) and grilled octopus. If you want to stick to what you know, it’s all there, gambas, patatas, croquettas, etc. my evening was rounded off by a stunning, home made (by Marta, el jefe) Andalusian cheesecake. I will be back soon

This is the best place I’ve eaten in London, hands down! Including much more expensive places. The flavors are rich, complex, and balanced. I highly recommend the blank ink rice (INCREDIBLE), chorizo iberico, and sweet potato bravas. I was initially disappointed they didn’t have normal patatas bravas, but they were so good! Plus, the service is warm, attentive and friendly (something most service in London is NOT). The space is also super cozy, and the atmosphere is bubbling with conversation but not too loud. They’re also great with gluten allergies - very attentive and many of their dishes are safe. This place is truly incredible - go if you’re at all able!

Great food and a very laid-back atmosphere. Mushroom croquettes and ox cheek were definitely the highlights. Their jamon was delicious too. Wasn’t too impressed with the octopus leg and would rather try black ink rice next time. We also shared a chocolate cheesecake although I would prefer a classic, non-chocolate version.

El restaurante estaba vacío justo después de las 5 pero comenzó a llenarse durante la siguiente hora. Nos sentamos durante unos diez minutos antes de que la camarera viniera y tomó nuestro pedido de comida (sin mención de bebidas). Le preguntamos si también podíamos pedir una bebida. Tal vez un poco más de capacitación para su personal (ofrecer una bebida mientras el cliente mira el menú no solo es más placentero para el comensal, sino que generalmente significa que vende más bebidas). Pedimos 5 platos ya que uno de nosotros tenía un tren para coger. Los platos estaban bien, pero uno llegó cuando estábamos preparándonos para levantarnos y salir (necesitábamos salir para un tren y toda la otra comida se comió). No estoy seguro de si se olvidaron y luego recordaron, pero no es genial conseguir un plato 20 minutos después del resto. Pedimos vieiras que llegaron con los otros platos. Esto fue literalmente 3 vieiras muy pequeñas (3 no es ideal para compartir). Me comí dos y mi acompañante tuvo uno y ambos tuvimos terribles molestias estomacales en una hora. Obviamente no podemos decir con certeza que fueron las vieiras, pero dado que solo nos reunimos esa tarde y los otros platos (patatas, pimientos) no deberían haber causado esto, parece probable que fueran las vieiras muy pequeñas. Una pena que mi primera visita fue encantador, pero no volveré a ir. Mal servicio y comida en el mejor de los casos mediocre

Really cool small plates restaurant. Pretty good food but it's a little cramped and the high stool tables made it difficult to eat / have a jacket. Would also have loved a mocktail option.

When it first opened it was awesome. Today it's fallen fowl of a cost drive, or that is my best guess. Feel very little prepared to order, and a lot of store bought just assembled. Disappointing.

Tasty, well cooked dishes and great selection! Really enjoyed it. In my opinion very well priced for the size of dishes in central London. (only thing I didn't particularly like was the cauliflower, not sure why maybe a bit sour sauce).

Sensational menu. special call out to the Ox cheek, Squid with the black rice, goats cheese with honey amongst the other dishes but no ask of allergies and there were peanuts in the bravas. Other than that, highly recommend a visit.

The mashed potatoes with octopus legs are so delicious. Chinese Chong. Shrimp and pork are also good. I forgot to tell the waiter what I called them.

I’ve tried a lot of tapas but the dishes here are by far the best! So many unique options to choose from and none of them disappoint! Service is so quick and the staff could not be lovelier, they genuinely seem to enjoy working here which is rare but so nice and makes the experience that much better. Couldn’t fault it at all!

This was my first time ever trying Tapas so I have nothing to compare it to but it was great, it was a really nice place with very friendly staff. The Mushroom croquettes and Sweet Potato Bravas were exceptional with a very nice wine. Will definitely be back.

I visited Copita with my sister a few weeks ago. We had such a lovely lunch! Everything we tried was delicious.

Amazing service and food, great for groups

Update: We eat a lot of Tapas and have found recently that a lot of the places in London are just turning out the same stuff, conveyor belt style. Now not to say Copita does anything anywhere else doesn't do necessarily, but they definitely do it better than most of the other London joints. Excellent. Original: Food was fantastic and we had pretty much everything on the menu over a good session. Would drop half a star (if there was one) because the service wasn't perfect, though in their defence it was very busy. Will definitely go again and probably take the kids.

Perfect meal, perfect place to be especially when you’re super hungry. Grima who’s very friendly and accommodating gave us a very good service. You must put this restaurant in your must place to visit if you fancy a Spanish dinner. Grima will for sure take care of you and will make your dining experience unforgettable.

Fantastic food and wonderful service. I was greeted quickly upon arrival and water was provided immediately (a nice touch as I always like some water before I have wine.) The person serving me was friendly, smiling and very knowledgeable, helping with both my food and wine choices. The bread and olives arrived very quickly and then the other dishes came out at a comfortable pace. Ox Cheek: incredible! Wonderful depth of flavour, I could happily eaten much more of this! Chicken: boneless which was nice as it saves messing with the bones. Nicely cooked, skin was well seasoned and flavoursome but the other chicken needed a little more flavour (but was still very good!) Bread and olives: lovely Beetroot: nicely presented with a lovely mix of textures with the nuts giving a nice crunch. Cheesecake: beautiful, and the sorbet went perfectly with the indulgent chocolate The only downside is how limited space is here, seated very close to other guests and although I was comfortable it was a little tighter on space than I prefer. Highly recommended as the food and service was fantastic. Thank you :)

Fantastic restaurant in central Soho!

I come here every time I’m in London and it never fails to be one of my favorite meals. Tucked away on a side street with a small bar and chairs that line counter seating, the service is always friendly and well paced. There are regular dishes (garlic prawns, octopus, sweet potato patatas bravas) and some new ones each time (scallops, fish cakes) so you won’t get bored of the menu. I’ve never had something I didn’t enjoy or absolutely love. Excellent flavors, great for sharing tho very large groups wouldn’t do well here given the seating arrangements. Extensive (mostly) Spanish wine list. On a weekend night it can be loud and lively. On a rainy weekday it can be chill and relaxed. When it’s nice out you might be lucky to get one of the small tables outside and feel the energy of the neighborhood while you eat. All great ways to enjoy Copita.

In general the dishes were ok but not amazing; the grilled octopus and the squid ink rice were super salty and toggled the experience. Overpriced for dining, but if you want to go grab a drink with just a few tapas it might be a total different experience.

This was a severe let-down after a lot of positive reviews. Weekday dinner - 1 person. Very noisy with completely indifferent bartender and waitress. They could not care less if I liked the food or not. The cauliflower dish was awful - large uncooked florets served in a small bowl almost impossible to eat. When I politely brought this up, it was met with a casual shrug by the waitress. No efforts to take the food back and bring a better version or refund the bill. The bar tender couldn't have been less enthusiastic about the wine. £60 for poor experience and mediocre food and wine. Yes, it's a weekday and I'm sure the staff had better places to be but do show a little professionalism! Will not visit again.

I was looking for "the best tapas in London" and happened upon Copita. I was going for dinner & drinks with a coworker for an early Friday 'post work' get together and this exceeded all of the expectations I had for the evening. Every dish we had was exceptional. The star of the show was the Mushroom Croquettes and the Iberia pork, blew our minds! We wanted to split of bottle of wine but didn't know the menu and the server was so lovely and helpful. She guided us towards a moderately priced bottle that we loved it so much we took a picture of the label! All the tables are counters with high top stools and it's got a very informal feel, but the food makes it feel formal with how delicious it all is. Highly recommend checking out.

Classic spanish tapas bar, which I usually go to when I want a drink and a light snack. I had some delicious pimientos de padrón and the always lovely Alhambra especial beer. Efficient and nice service, and nice prices too.

La comida era sabrosa y deliciosa. Ambiente del restaurante rústico y chic. Deprima el hecho de que cuando mi amiga se sentó y yo llegaba tarde, la camarera le dijo de inmediato que solo tenía una hora y media. Las comidas se apresuraron demasiado rápido. Los platos se habrían enfriado entre comerlos tuvimos que enviar un plato de vuelta ya que la comida se estaba acumulando demasiado rápido. Así que en general por el dinero gastado nos sentimos apresurados y no nos apresuramos a volver.

Lovely food and atmosphere but they left a bit of a bad taste in your mouth when you paid. They added a service charge to the bill yet produced the pay machine asking for a tip. Meaning we ended up leaving a double tips. So don’t forget to check the bill before you pay!

The best tapas i had in a long time. Everything from the pimientos to the black ink rice and the tomato carpaccio with capers was fantastic! Wine menu is great as well (we went for the Pago Florentino which combined perfectly with the food). If i was living in London, i would be a regular!

The food here was absolutely stunning. As was the wine. It's quite 1 loud place though. Customers tend to shout quite a bit so you can't hear yourselves speak.

Came her for a few birthday drinks and was pleasantly surprised to see that it’s a Michelin star restaurant! Great drink selection. We also got a few nibbles to eat; highly recommend the mushroom croquettes, so rich and creamy with a perfectly crispy exterior. We also got their burnt milk ice cream (divine), pear crumble (lovely and crunchy) and the burnt aubergine. The burnt aubergine wasn’t my favourite as I wasn’t a fan of the texture. All in all, would recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Beware - lovely food and lovely service. All great until you pay the bill. This in itself it reasonably priced and 12.5% service added, however when the card machine arrives it asks how much tip you want to give - so something like 5%, 10% 15% or 'No Tip'. This seems solely there to catch people out if they haven't noticed the service charge. The only way to avoid adding a second tip is to say 'no tip', when clearly you have actually already paid one. Very sharp practice and I wonder what the staff actually receive?

I went to Copita on a first date. I can only comment on one food item - the patatas bravas - and one glass of wine. The wine selection is lovely and the organic wine I had was wonderful. The patatas were sweet potatoes which is not how the typical dish is served. Personally I didn’t like it at all, as I was not expecting, nor did I want, a sweet potato. However, it’s a personal preference. I docked several stars because the staff were acting very erratically. They pressured us to get a food item, despite the restaurant being packed and clearly it was not a slow night for them. When I first tried to get a drink, they did not ask my date what she wanted. That was pretty bizarre. After they pressured us to get food, they were not attentive. It was just weird behavior and I definitely didn’t feel welcomed.

There aren't many people there at noon, but it's often full in the evening. The Spanish food is delicious, it's a relaxing place to eat and drink, and it's a very comfortable place. Average price in Soho, not expensive. recommend!

Late night dinner with kitchen closing in 5 minutes. Well worth the rush and the money . I rarely give out 10/10 but this restaurant has to be one of the best in London. I recommend anyone to come and get the Jamon it’s heaven .

For central London the place is quite spacious and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. The variety of tapas and the quality of food is top notch. Definitely recommended!

We’ve been here about 4 times now and it never disappoints. The food is exceptional, everything is so well thought out and delicious. Our favourites are the burnt aubergine and ajo blanco. The service has always been excellent, even at busy times and the atmosphere is wonderful, always so warm and busy yet homely.

If you don’t know before ordering What to order, if you don’t understand the menu, you can follow their IG, which has photos and names of each meal, which will be much more convenient. is a high-quality tapas restaurant featuring authentic Spanish flavors. The restaurant has a Spanish-style decoration, from the crema catalana-toned tiles to the hanging Iberian ham, giving people a strong Spanish atmosphere as soon as they enter the door. The menu here is carefully designed with top quality ingredients and changes with the seasons. Recommended dishes include black squid crepe, grilled octopus with crushed peas and sobrasada, and the rich Andalusian chickpea and spinach stew​)​. If you understand anything about food or Spanish cuisine you'll want to avoid this place and go somewhere else. Simply a central London tourist trap/low quality restaurant. £6 per prawn is simply unacceptable

As a Spaniard, I’m confident to say that this is a great place for tapas. The product is good quality, the receipts are well balanced and the service was perfect 💯

I almost don’t want to review this place because it feels like London’s best kept secret. Copita is absolutely my favourite restaurant in London. My wife and I have been coming here for a couple years and the food, service, and vibe are never anything short of exceptional. The sign of a really good restaurant is when you leave, you aren’t just full, you’re nourished and fulfilled. That’s how Copita makes me feel after every meal. I can’t believe how reasonable the prices are considering the quality and location.

The menu looks promising but the depth of taste simply isn't there for something at this price point.

Decent service, but uninspiring food. Copita offers a fair variety of spanish cuisine dishes on their alluring menu but unfortunately most of the dishes we ordered were a bit too salinated for our preference. The portions are on the smaller side given the prices on the menu. Service staff were great and attentive. Definitely the highlight of our visit. Recommend: Beef onglet, King Prawns, Red wine (all were great) Avoid: Sourdough olives, black rice While overall the experience was positive, there are better alternatives in soho. For a filling meal expect to spend £30-40 per person

Delicious tapas, great wine and a wonderful atmosphere. Great selection of sherry too. The pea tahini was a highlight. Would highly recommend.

Amazing tapas with lots of variety for everyone. We had the mushroom croquetas, jamon croquetas, patatas bravas, artichoke, and chicken . Everything tasted incredible, make sure to try the croquetas and chicken which were my fav. Great service too!

We got given a table right at the back so service was not great -had to fight to order anything and one of the waiters couldnt understand our order at all. Very small plates so we ended up ordering 8-9 (rather than the recommended 2-3/pp)..wine mark up far too high for the quality and we tried several. Disappointing, as barrica and the other copita were fantastic but I won’t be returning here.

Ordered food. Was expecting the glass of wine and snack. One waitress on phone, guy behind bar faffing around. Pour a glass of wine for me. 10 minutes. Your food looked great but serve me please, kind request and get the waiting staff to know how dishes come out. I left, I'm not going to beg for a glass of wine.

Awesome Spanish food! We were a large party. We litterally had every single item from the menu to keep them coming. The staff was incredible and the food was exceptional. The “croquetas de jamon” and the “jamon iberico de bellotas” were the best of the bunch. Don’t miss the desserts, they are great too!
