The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Turkish dishes, each prepared with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor. I started with the family platter, which was a delightful assortment of dips, olives, and fresh bread. Every bite was a taste of Turkish tradition.

Came in to eat. Waited half hour for food not to arrive the people that came in a lot later and got served before us. The old man with glasses is very rude

Not such a lunchtime menu treat . Portions are half the size of mains (not that they tell you) . I rate the service I had by 2 young gals & a young man, the food however was under par, portions aside , my Adana was over cooked , looking old & tasted of salt . Had a shish which was fine . Good atmospherics inside . Over cooked salty food chef moody & unhelpful as I entered the restaurant. Would I dine there again………. just a drink , bread & dips perhaps. Which menu are you referring to, the 2ft x 1ft poster at your entrance or the in house menu given once seated? I have a picture of the poster menu “lunch” , I do not see those words there which was my first piece of Istanbul info & I note you make no reference to the “over cooked salty meat’ in your response focusing on the inedible.

To be honest…. Turkish foods are one of the best… You have huge selections to taste and you practically would love everything

They always send cold food. Taste was not good. Chicken taste like they made it 3 days ago. Totally bad.

Went for a weekend breakfast with all siblings and kids as a big group. Even though we didn’t book, they quickly made us a big table so everyone could sit at the same table. Breakfast was really nice and fresh. Staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommended for a lovely Turkish breakfast! THERE WAS NO PARKING!

Restaurant down the road!. Zero star. Pide never ever is like what came a burnt overcooked cold rubbish with hardly any filling. They must have known but still sent it!! I specified to bring hot food. Plus boregi never ever as cheap and nasty. Even cake was just shoved in box first bit disintegrating .. all for 31gbp plus bag charge. Never ever again. If complain to Just Eat they dont care either.

Went here for first time to eat and the food didn’t disappoint. I had the mixed doner which came nicely presented with rice along with the additional salad, bread and dips. We also got give a free dessert on the house. Great service from the waiting staff and nice atmosphere. All reasonably priced, would definitely return.

Unfortunately the food was not good at all and special the salad was disgusting and the rice was not cooked well

Amazing food, excellent family platter tasting menu, amazing service from waitresses and waiters & chef cooked lovely Türkiye bread and mix salads red cabbage rocket salad tomato lemon carrots, with amazing tomatoes and mint sauce and yoghurt cucumber meze, Lahmacun perfect soft, The platter consists of, Adana kebab, lamb & chicken kebabs, Sheme kebabs, chicken wings, chicken kofte, lamb kofte, chicken lamb donner rice, Turkish bread, sticky rice, chilli peppers. So so tender cooked to perfection reminded me of my holiday in Türkiye My baby had chicken nuggets and chips came first, suggested by the waitress who was amazing Everyone had soft drinks, With the bill came this amazing pistachio sprinkle desert Baklava for the family on a skewer. Delicious well done Istanbul kingsland road….! Easy to travel to the restaurant as is a short walk away from Dalston Junction Station, and many bus routes, 243, 76, 149,

Food was gorgeous, generous portions and absolutely faultless service. Kader was the most friendly, helpful and simply perfect host.

Food was amazing. We are regulars visitors to the restaurant for many many years and thought we would get a takeaway and it was great. Will defo order again. x

The service was okay and the portion sizes were also fine, but the food itself was just very poor quality. Overall just very bland and lacking in any flavour or texture. Some dishes were totally unrecognisable from what they were meant to be. Won’t be coming back.

Delicious food and wonderful service. Went here with my wife and family and had an Ottoman Platter, as well as some Turkish sausages, Calamari and liver. We also had some bread, garlic sauce, chilli sauce and salad to go along with our meal. Everything we ate was delicious and at the end our waiter recommend some sweet pastries with cream. We never would have known to order these but they were also fantastic. Thank you so much for such a wonderful meal! Would 100% recommend!

I regularly come for lunch and the service and hospitality is the best that I have experienced in dalston. In particular Dochka’s warm welcome and service makes me pleased to have this as a local spot to eat. Would recommend highly.

Terrible! If i could give 0⭐️,I would..I went there on Friday night with couple of friends! I could sense the staff were not happy to see us 🤷‍♀️, they were not bothered to give us some attention! For the price thought there would be sauce included. Dry, cold shish with cold and half cooked rice was horrible. Waste of money.

I get only one thing from this restaurant which is doner kebab. They have real lamb doner, made with bits of meat, not the preformed mechanically recovered meat stuff that everyone else has. I trust them much more. So if I want doner, I come all the way here for my take away.

Change of ownership, so gone down in my estimation. Long wait time, too expensive & very small portions. Would not go again

There are products of Turkish cuisine. A restaurant that captures the taste of fresh and natural products. They offered tea and dessert after meals. perfect environment and perfectly delicious food.

We went there today for my niece's b'day lunch service was good, food very nice , they gave her cake with a candle nice touch & a glass of wine the staff came over to our table & we all sang happy b'day which was very nice & unexpected.

The food was good for the price but not wow. The disappointment was at the end when everyone was served with sweet treat and free tea and my cousin offered to pay for the tea when she paid the bill.. and we stayed 10 mins afterwards to wait for tea and then we gave up. That was very rude especially that we asked for it and we offered to pay and the waitress said that is not needed. The bill was also about £60

Sibelle and Dochka were absolutely amazing with the exceptional customer service attitude. They both were so helpful in explaining the menu and helping us choose the right food. They were both extremely friendly and very approachable. Definitely made the eating experience a lot better. The food was really good. I was not a fan of the meat soup but the Lamb Cop (sheesh) with rice and for dessert the rice pudding were definitely hit the right spot. Overall amazing experience.

I bought takeaway PAÇA soup. The staff was kind and friendly but the soup was terrible, fat and fat. You get a kind of fat, fat from the meat and fat from the butter. This restaurant made a name with its amazing soups years ago, seeing that low quality was a big disappointment. I gave 1 star for the soup and 5 stars for the service.

Clearly a place where locals, misfits and hipsters can eat with gusto and have money left in your pocket. It’s pretty heavy on the meat front, but there is enough for the more faint hearted. Pide in numerous incarnations, kebabs so huge it comes on a tray you use to carry plates with, fish superbly grilled and salads in abundance. Superbly authentic yet modern in outlook and service.

terrible portions I paid for the special grilled Kebab smallest portion with few bits of meat and bread they dont offer no rice with it other places do. not worth the money go somewhere else

How disappointed I am with my order, it came over an hour late, all food was cold, couldn’t eat the chips as they were cold and I paid an extra pound to get them, I understand the delivery driver was at fault because he was late but it’s up to the restaurant to deal with the driver and at least keep the food warm, I usually love this restaurant but I’m not too sure after this experience, and ironically the can of Coke was warm 😑 overall not happy on spending almost £50 on cold food

The kabab was good but My lowest rating is because of the dessert they put on my table it was burnt and just like I bite a charcoal it’s can not be a mistake

Visited Sunday evening. Big, basic-looking restaurant with delicious food -lamb doner, mucver, salads, yogurt etc. Really nicely presented. Excellent service from the manager. Full of people from Turkey - which I wasn’t surprised about as it was so good!

A waiter dropped a glass on the ground and hit someone on my table (didnt apologise) and they were not very friendly at all

I went there with 2 of my friends for dinner. The food is good, yet the waiters (apart from the waitress) were rude and the service quality overall was weak. I understand it may get busy at times, but it’s still not nice to treat customers rude.

Food was absolutely awful.the meat was dry the chips were dark brown and so burnt there was no potato inside jus burnt hollow chips.the salad also looked and smelt rotten.never again

Fabulous food didnt dissapoint! Second time here. Staff was lovely and friendly. Good atmosphere. First class service! Hassan Zabit made us feel very welcome and at home, infact we didn't want to leave. Food was fresh tasty and the presentation was superb. We definitely be coming back.

£10.50 for the dryest falafel wrap, no salad or sauces other than a smear of houmous. I ended up leaving over half of it. Service was pretty slow. I asked why it was so expensive and that it was poor quality and they said because I was sat down. Utterly bizarre.

Starter was nonexistent tiny slices of sausage a half slice of tomato and wilted tiny portion of leaves .. really? And soup has no taste… but gave ample amount of half cooked bread

Very disappointed after one of our dishes was missed in our delivery order. After calling the restaurant, we were told that our missing dish was being handed to a delivery driver to be delivered to us. The food never arrived. Being lied to by what is considered a respectful establishment has broken our trust. The food is not as good as it used to be. We ordered about twenty times before from here and, unfortunately we won’t be ordering from here anymore.

Ordered the meal for 2, with 2xfries with the bread salad and sauces that you get with your meal. This was enough for our family of 4, and we couldn't even finish everything.

The food was supposed to come with servings of rice, but instead we received a hefty amount of bread, extra salad and sauces, and a few baby potatoes. Honestly, the food tasted good - but given some of the portions along with the bread, it's hard to justify the amount that I spent. The Turkish salad & cheese starter for example: 2 slices of sausage & Halloumi for £8.50 - it's a bit much. Overall, I think that a lot of the 'magic' is lost if you don't consume meals like this in an actual restaurant; it's just not the same. But I won't say that it wasn't worth it - it was tasty, and we are full; I got to de-shell some prawns too which was different!

The lamp soup literally had no lamp it just came watery! What a shame..
