Istanbul Kebab House in Fenland

Portions are huge and better to takeaway and share a portion between two. Had the lamb kebab and lamb shish on wrap. Tasty and filling. Tender meat.

I orded a large lamb shish kebab with pitta, I ordered online and it clearly said this comes with salad. I collected yet the bill had 50p service charge added but when I got home and opened it, the pitta had cold chewy lamb and nothing else in it. The worst takeaway I've ever had

Had a chicken tikka kebab really enjoyed it very tasty and cooked to perfection fresh salad crisp and light excellent will be back again soon

I have allergy for onions. Of course ordered kebab without onions. Found some in my kebab. Called them, they agreed redo kebab, but demanded that i would send old kebab back to them, when they will deliver new one. Ok done. After i sent it back the owner called me screaming that there was 'just 2 onions in the kebab'. No sorry, nothing. I explained that i have strong allergy for onions. He kept repeating 'it is just 2'. How can you work in the food industry, then you literally don't care if you will make your customers ill? Learn about allergies and get some manners.

The worst food I’ve tried arrived 1 hr late cold soggy & the meats chicken burned Kofte chopped up like it’s been eaten & spat out & lamb doner more like road kill or even rat 🐀 vomiting 5 mins after eating call them up got the worst customer service no apologies or money back the worst I’ve seen or heard talking in there own language & laughing while I’m on hold plz avoid at all costs

The Kebabs where tasting amazing. I loved it! Especially the chilli sauce was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go back and take my friends with me:)

So. I work in a customer facing environment and I know customer service is king. Ordered a meal for my family tonight and food was delivered late first of all. The meal was pre paid online. On receipt there was food missing so I called to see how quickly could be delivered. Wow! I didn't realise that it wasn't important that food I had paid for was missing and I didn't realise that how long I had to then wait was important either! Remember the food was already late! What I then experienced from the manager was nothing short of shocking. Apparently these things happen when you pay for a service but the manager of Istanbul Wisbech believes that when this happens he shouldn't need to sort it in a timely manner. To be shouted at for challenging service and told to never order from him again is beyond comprehension. As it stands I have ordered goods from Istanbul Wisbech that I have paid for but not had delivered and then told never to order again. Good job I have recorded the conversation! Still waiting for the refund on goods paid for but not delivered Istanbul Wisbech? PS Couldn't give 0 or negative stars.

Outside of Turkey or London, Istanbul is as good as you'll get and certainly the best in Wisbech. Great service , cheap and fast. The lamb sis is a must

Absolutely amazing. we have moved from london to wisbech thinking we not going to have a nice kebab anymore however, we was wrong. Istanbul kebab is just delicious food and there staff are so friendly :) thank you guys!!!

Do not ever order food from this place, the service is terrible and when you challenge them they get aggressive! Disgrace of a place!!

Absolutely awful, £25 on a takeaway for 2 kebabs, a 9 inch garlic bread pizza, popcorn chicken and fries. The delivery was really late, the garlic bread pizza for my daughter was missing and so was my pitta bread for £10.50 kebab. Phoned up to tell the take away, a rude man finally said they would send the garlic bread pizza. 45 minutes later it arrived. All food was cold and unpleasant. Shall never be using them again!

Well where can I start, ordered from here afew times since moving to the area, been ok. But boy how things changed. Last order we were disappointed with the amount of actual chicken and order was cold but we didnt mention to takeaway. So ordered again and unfortunately this was the same, so thought I would call the takeaway to calmly say how disappointed we were. Well I still cannot believe how disgustingly I was spoken to, I hadnt asked for refund or replacement just wanted to be listened to but instead was told I was a liar and talking rubbish. Terrible customer service we will not be placing any future orders

Far and away the best kebabs in town. And the deliver! Always friendly and pretty quick delivery too even though we're 6 miles out of town.

This is the best kebab in town. The food is freshly made. The doner is a bit fatty but the shush kebab and the chicken kebab are excellent. The kebabs can be on nan or pitta bread and they give lots of salad. Price is good. There are some excellent deals. Pizzas are not great but then this is the best kebab house not a pizza house!

The reviews would have put me off this place. But surprisingly it wasn't as bad as people have reviewed. The father in law and i enjoyed a small kebab each.

Arrived at 21.05 over one and a half hours late. i ordered a prawn cocktail at £4.00...... it was a tray of shredded lettuce with seafood sauce. NO prawns at all. chips were cold too. Will definitely not use again and cannot recommend very disappointed with food and service.

Was supposed to be delivered at 19:55, arrived at 20:45!!! Not the first time they have been late either. On another 2 occasions they have been over half an hour late! Luckily their chicken kebabs are spot on!

Good food due to 45 minute delivery food wasn't as hot as I would have liked but all food was delicious

Oh dear my kebab was cold there was. I salad as we know it but shed loads of pickled red cabbage. The naan bread was soggy and chewy. My husbands pizza is dripping with fat and was cold. Delivery was 15 minutes late and we had to talk the driver here on the phone. Extremely upset.

Kebab was great and a pizza was ordered which had onion on it, in the comment box I asked for the onion to be changed to pineapple and it came with onion an no pineapple which meant it ended up in the bin with not one mouthful eaten and a total waste of money! 😡😔🆘

Really unimpressed with service tonight, waited over an hour half for food. Cancelled it in the end because it was getting to late and receviced no apology. Order shouldnt of been accepted if they can't fulfil it. Will not be ordering from here again, which is a real shame, has service used to be great.

Whilst the food is ok and you get a fair amount for a reasonable price. A couple times now when we have ordered it has taken a lot longer than estimated time to be delivered(over an hour). On one of the occasions the food was just warm enough. Not sure if the restaurant or just eat should be more realistic about delivery times?

I orderd a seafood pizza which should have had anchovies,how ever there wasn't any and I even paid an extra 80p for extra to put on the pizza had more sweetcorn than fish did not enjoy the pizza at all. Regards Sharen

Very tasty, but also very cold

What a lovely meal! Not all of the family wanted kebab, but at Istanbul we can all choose something different and all delivered together! Really nice service from delivery man. Definitely use again.
