Over and hour late food turned up cold! Wouldn’t mind if you contacted to tell me it was busy and would be running late but food was freezing cold

great food and made better with such a lovely delivery lady, Molly was so polite and chatty, will always ask for molly to deliver if i can.

Updating an old review as alot has changed, loving all the new menu updates the ice creams are honestly a fav for me now. Always love the customer service especially with becca delivering as she always gives good recommendations to try with the new stuff on the menu, but whole team is goof and will fix any problems if there is any but it's a rarity that happens.

Great food and service, me and my partner had the smash burgers, would highly recommend 👍

Only went in for cheese sticks, but service was quick and efficient. And the place was clean and colourful.

Honestly reliable and friendly staff increasingly varied menu, all good quality and tasty food. My fav is probably the biscoff milkshakes which keep getting better and better!

Have been ordering from Eastern Promise for a few years now. Never had an issue with the food. Always been top notch, and with the updated menu even better. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good meal. Delivery always within time specified, even at busy times. Delivery staff always friendly.

Lovely food, lovely people, always quick service and even if they are swamped they will ask you on the phone if you’re happy to wait 60/75mins. Don’t go anywhere else for my kebab.

Liars said we ordered last night but we didn’t as we was celebrating new years.just couldn’t be bothered with us tonight 😘 Update: You did actually deliver to us successfully on one of the nights but it’s done now isn’t it you’re the ones who missed out on £120.Hope youll still have some customers left after all the shouting down the phone and being rude Thank you.

If I was able to give zero stars for the experience me and my partner have had today I would have. We are regular users of Eastern Promise regardless of the negative reviews online. However, we had ordered tonight and the latest delivery time was 19:40. I had tried to call 4 times and got no answer. When my partner called to ask what had happened with the delivery as it said driver was on its way. He was then told the order hadn’t even been made. It’s now 20:22 and the food is still yet to be delivered. I’ve never been the type to complain and given benefit of the doubt to small businesses as I work in customer service myself but when being told the delivery hasn’t even been made until my partner had called is out of order. It had to take my partner to call 20 minutes after it should have been delivered for them to even start the order.

Food took over 1hr 15minutes to arrive and was expensive for the quality. When we ordered online with just eat, it stated we were ordering ‘king of wings March’, as did the confirmation email. When I looked online to find a contact number, ‘king of wings March’ didn’t exist. It wasn’t until the delivery driver eventually arrived that he informed us it was ‘eastern promise’.

Do not recommend. Delivery never turned up after being delayed twice.

Good for what it is. If you want a big burger, kebab or chips then this is the place.

The food got here in 45 minutes, and was warm. We ordered the pizza deal with two pizzas garlic bread fries and a bottle of pop. The bottle was nicely cold. The garlic bread was alright, standard frozen store bought garlic baguette you can find in Aldi for £0.30, the fries were regular frozen chips. The reason for the lost two stars however is because of the pizza, they had virtually no tomato sauce on them whatsoever, no spices, no herbs, just bread and cheese. Which meant that other than the spare few toppings, the pizzas tasted of absolutely nothing, no flavour whatsoever. Even the cheese they used tasted of absolutely nothing. The whole point of pizza is the tomato sauce, their pizza had absolutely none. In a pinch, it was warm and edible, so it gets a pass, but we will not order from them again.

It’s a must try! Lovely food and staff. Burgers are 10/10

The most generous portion sizes I ever had at any takeaway, so much food! Very good special offer for £15 two people meals either Pizza or Giant kebab box and chips; all the food arrived warm, tasty to the right point not overly spicy, and most importantly all the comments on the JustEat order were accounted for and respected; the can of drink was also cold, which is also extremely rare for any takeaway, drinks usually arrive warm. Cannot find a fault from the 2 times we have ordered takeaway here, thank you!

I ordered 2 chicken & 1 tikka chicken kebab - opted for large as the price was not much more than medium Generous portions - others wished they had my tikka - they'll know next time!

The food I've just had was out of this world.

First time order was about 2 months ago .... food was over 40 mins late and cold . When phoned to complained they had no compassion or care about it being stone cold or late Gave them a second chance Missed half the order off and when I phoned them to complain again they couldn’t care and began shouting down the phone I will never ever use them again Poor food quality Horrible customer service Rude I understand mistakes happen but there is no need to be purely rude regarding a complaint.

We spent alot of money with you and to be told were not a priority is brilliant. As a business all of your customers are a priority. You say it saves you a meal to my wife well I say it saves us 2 hours and over £22.00 per order it's your loss we will spend our hard earned money else where. Just from the comments you have replied to you're showing the world your attitude. Last night nearly 2 hours to get to us when we are 20 mins away. The food was cold and bearly edible not for the first time. Also when we have ordered multiple times and left an instruction on just eat you have failed to carry out the instruction 50% of the time. If there was so much traffic as you claimed could you not have given a courtesy call to let us know. We called 3 times and have let it go in the past when orders have taken over an hour and a half. After 1hr 20 mins we called and you told us as you always do hes 5 mins away it took an additional 35 mins for the driver to arrive. Update 12/9/19 There was absolutley every reason to put the review up here that is what it is there for. Had you of provided a better service I would of provided a better review. Yes you offered a free meal but that's no bother now as i will use another takeaway from now on who will actually appreciate my custom and maybe not be this rude for everyone to see.

Very disappointed after spending a lot of money here we’ve had 3 orders that have taken an hour and a half to two hours. When calling their attitude is “people more local take priority over you” and also “we won’t be delivering there much longer anyway” they clearly don’t value their long standing customers. We won’t be ordering again!!! disgusting attitude!! Ordered tonight at 19:09 it’s 20:55 and It’s just turned up!! And before you respond to say you should have called we did 3 times tonight we won’t be taking the free food you offered tonight’s food is cold and your attitudes are terrible

Staff were friendly and pleasant, food was excellent. Delivery faster than stated, which was great after working long hours, we were very hungry.

I so wish I could rate no stars. I haven't eaten all day apart from a cookie due to long hours and really busy stressful work place and I still couldn't bring myself to eat this food. I asked for no cucumber as I'm allergic to it now my whole face has swelled up. Cant bring food back as I'm being rushed to a&e. And where the hell is the meat in this mixed kebab it is ridiculous I've seen more meat on Victoria Beckham. Let me enlighten you all with this meat filled naan picture is enroute

These clowns could not even find my address, which is just minutes from their own "restaurant", literally!! The delivery guy phoned me up to get me to come out of my house, but when I did , he wasn't there. Apparently he was down the road wanting me to collect my food. Mmmmm I thought I ordered a delivery not a collection. Some other guy then phoned me 5 minutes later, agitated and aggressive, effectively telling me to "meet" the delivery guy. I told him they needed to deliver the order to my door , at which point he hung up. No loss, will not use this lot again, and advise others to act likewise. March,a City Centre, are you having a laugh?!. I tried advising the delivery guy exactly where my location was, but he could not understand a word of English. May I suggest that in future the delivery guys actually know where to deliver to before they actually set off. Sir, you make me laugh, blaming the customer for your delivery guys not knowing the location despite me posting the correct address and postcode on the order, trying to advise the guy where I was, coming out of my address (at his request) to meet him and my location being literally two minutes from Eastern Promise. BTW following your outfit's failure to deliver, I made a similar order from Chilli Hut (right next to Eastern Promise), and that arrived at my door within 30 minutes. How do you explain that one?

Fantastic food always my first choice for a takeaway, highly recommend cheesO’s. Me and my partner love everything about this place, fantastic manners, very quick to be served and always ready for a chat, keep up the good work guys, aspecially you Mohammed Ishfaq.

I’ve ordered from this place before and despite it being 25 minutes late and having stone cold food, my foolish self ordered from there a second time. To no surprise it was over half an hour late and all the food was cold. That’s only the tip of the theoretical iceberg in this analogy, I couldn’t help but notice my pizza was burnt to the point of being more passable as a frisbee, my girlfriend asked for 3 toppings on her kebab, lettuce, mayo and cucumber, none of which were anywhere to be found. The kebab was so cold it was almost sickly, her chips were so soggy they squelched in our mouths. My mozzarella sticks tasted of cardboard and were so cold they may as well have been cheesestrings. After the long wait of 30 minutes more than expected, I came to the assumption that the takeaway (which I’d almost forgot about at this point) was here as I heard obnoxiously loud music from down the road getting closer. We received a free bottle of Pepsi, however I’d argue this is insufficient compensation for a cold and overall unenjoyable meal for myself and my girlfriends family. And I find it proposterous that spending £25.20p DOESN’T qualify for free delivery, when we could’ve got better service, taste and value for money by shopping at Tesco’s for the same food items. I also am puzzled at why I had to pay 50p just for service, i agree this may be a measly amount of money, I argue it had no purpose. I would rather have paid the driver 50p to not belt his music loud enough to blow his own eardrums. The driver/deliverer however receives no complaints on the subject of personality. He was a polite and pleasant man, however I’m puzzled as to why it was 30 minutes late, I could’ve warmed my food up in the fridge. The food was overall flavourless and I’m disappointed as eastern promise used to be my go-to place for takeaway. The pizzas were also dry and I feel that is why we really got a free Pepsi. I cannot stress enough that the toppings and sauce asked for on the kebab were entirely neglected, it was grossly cold and my girlfriend couldn’t even finish the kebab. Overall I rate eastern promise 1.5 stars but I had to put 2 due to the lack of half stars on this reviewing platform. Both myself and my s/o feel very very ill and regret the purchase of this takeaway.
