Isle of Bute Coffee @Bonnie Bling in Argyll & Bute

We loved this place. The coffee was excellent and so was the cake. The service was friendly and efficient and there was plenty of easily accessible cold free water. Interesting stuff on the shelves too. Highly recommended.

We were staying on Bute a few weeks ago for a family wedding & anywhere we stay, I always try to find “the” local coffee place. These guys are doing third wave style coffee up there with the best of them, they really care about their product and service & it really shows. There’s a great curation of items from Bonnie Bling and my daughter was super happy to find something Sanrio too! In some places you can have a great product and be let down by service, but certainly not here - it was up there with the quality of the rest of the place. We ended up visiting twice over our three day stay which says it all. As some of our family are going to be moving back to Bute soon, we’ll no doubt make it a regular stop anytime we’re up visiting :)

Had tea, coffee ☕️ and cake in here today. Nice relaxing cafe. The carrot cake was tasty and homemade. The chocolate and pecan slice was delicious and also home made. Great to support a small business 👏

Good spot for coffee and cake, particularly enjoyed the lemon and olive oil cake, it was first class.

Best coffee on the island! My lady and I were visiting Bute for 10 days, and after trying several cafes, Bonnie Bling wins. Not only is the coffee top notch, the environment is small, welcoming, and cozy.

We visited Isle of Bute Coffee every day during our week-long stay in Rothesay! The coffee was high quality, the staff and other coffee-drinkers friendly and warm, and I'll be dreaming about the lemon olive oil cake for a long time. All top rate! Also loved the Bonnie Bling handmade items and other cute products on offer.

Visited Bonnie Bling a few times whilst on Bute and it was so lovely every time! The coffee was delicious, the avocado on sourdough was lovely and all the staff were really friendly! Would definitely recommend 🤍

What a great spot. Mharii and the gang know what they're doing. Great coffee, really smooth and full of flavour. And the food, the smoked trout brioche, was fantastic - straight from the smoke house over the road, 😁

Lovely little coffee shop which also sells items from the brilliant Bonnie Bling. Been fans of Bonnie for a while so good to visit. Had tea - island flowers, Cake and rapscallion soda. Excellent quality and friendly service.

Isle of Bute coffee at Bonnie Bling is simply the best! You are always given the warmest of welcomes when you step inside this gorgeous coffee shop/gift shop. Not only is the coffee first class, the food, fresh cakes and bakes and lunches are divine. You can sit and enjoy in the cozy cafe space, or take away along with picking up some Isle of Bute coffee, beautifully crafted Bonnie Bling jewellery along with some foodie and unique gifts. The coffee and lovely welcome will always have you going back for more!

A great wee coffee shop, great for a coffee on the go but also have bought fantastic coffee to make at home. Also always a welcome excuse to have a look at the fab jewellery and gifts, bought some lovely earrings too

Popped in here for a coffee and cake after a visit to Bute for the day. I’m quite the fussy coffee drinker and quite critical but the coffee here was fantastic, smooth and left no bad aftertaste. Cake was also fantastic. Highly recommend and was more than accommodating for our two dogs so refreshing finding dog friendly places.

This is a super little coffee shop which we just happened to stumble upon whilst walking to the local museum. The coffee was fantastic (we are quite fussy coffee drinkers and are always on the hunt for a good coffee!) and they also sell fantastic handmade jewellery items. I was there with my daughter and the owner was very friendly and helpful, whilst allowing my daughter to browse the items on sale. The owner also offered us some great recommendations for our future trip to Glasgow!

Gorgeous cafe . Bought a beautiful squirrel neclace and heart earrings made by owner and her magic machine ‘Bertha’. Had a delicious salted caramel hot chocolate and lemon drizzle cake . Such an enjoyable memory of lovely friendly Rothesay ❤️

What an absolute gem of a place!! Couldn't have asked for nicer staff, great coffee and brunch with very nice gluten free bread. We felt extremely welcomed and taken care of and emerged back into the day full of joy. They also have a lovely little selection of locally made jewellery/gifts/cards. Definitely recommend for a coffee and a bite if you're in Rothesay.

Bonnie Bling has now become my second home on the island! Not only is the coffee top notch (by far the best here on Bute) but coming to Bonnie Bling’s and getting to know Mhairi and Amanda has played a huge part in me feeling of part of a community and having a sense of belonging on the island. The intimacy of space helps create conversation between customers and as a result I have made friends here and gained clients in my work too; as well as receiving so much moral support in my own ventures from both Amanda and Mhairi! I often come in with my toddler and find I’m still able to relax as the the staff are super engaging and there are plenty of activities about for him to get involved with. Bonnie Bling is the perfect mix of a speciality coffee shop, creative hub and local business, often running workshops and other social activities to get involved with. Amanda makes a beautiful flat white every time! Highly recommend a visit, you won’t regret it!

An excellent coffee, well poured. As good a Flat White as you'll get in any artisan coffee shop. I liked it so much, I bought a bag of coffee to take home - the blend is from from a roaster I already knew and liked, but the Bute Blend is now a favourite. Will have to get more posted to us! You're unlikely to pass this cafe casually as is a couple of streets back from the seafront - but it's just 2 minutes - give it a try.

Excellences Café und definitiv der beste Kaffee auf der Isle. Darüberhinaus gibt es süßes und deftiges für Zwischendurch. Die Inhaberin ist sehr herzlich und liebevoll, gibt wertvolle Tipps und ist offen für einen angenehmen Plausch mit den Gästen. Man merkt richtig wie viel Herzblut sie in ihre Kaffeeleidenschaft steckt. Würde ich noch länger hier bleiben wäre ich definitiv noch öfter gekommen.

Best coffee in Bute! Great blend of specialty coffee expertly prepared. At last a good coffee on Bute! Also sourdough with smoked trout etc. Dog friendly!
