Island Mixup in Brent

What a lovely welcome from shop! Food fresh nice and tasty too! The cow foot dinner/soup is a delicacy to be tried. Best is their fry chicken and mini fry dumplings!

Best Caribbean food restaurant hand down!

Ordered the curry mutton which I’ve been buying there for years. Sat down in the car to eat, opened it up and it smelt wrong, tasted it and the Meat was no good. Told them immediately and they point blank refused to refund my £7.00 even though I’ve been buying here for years. More than disappointed and they’ve lost a loyal customer.

10/10. 1st of many jerk portions I would 100% recommend

Ordered from here this evening through deliveroo. the food was absolutely delicious! Good portion sizes, the only reason i didn't give it 5star (which the flavour totally deserved) was because my meal came without the rice and dumpling the menu said it would come with.

We ordered here via just eat and because i hadn’t receieved a confirmation email we rang up the restaurant. This was the conversation. Husband: “hello, i’ve just placed an order with you through just eat but i havent received any confirmation email would you be able to let me know the status of my order please?” Lady on the phone: “i don’t know i’m not at the kitchen”. One word. Wow. Useless staff, never got our food. Never ordering from here ever again. Best place i’ve had carribean is in tottenham anyways so if your down for a drive just go there!

Second Time ordering from here !! We've tried multiple different Caribbean restaurants in the past and one thing that they lacked was consistency whilst island mix-up are putting Carribbean food on the map.Howard & team are friendly too. This restaurant has the right flavours and customer service ! Whenever there's an issue with the order they would Instantly call you to sort it out which many restaurants don't do so I'll definitely be ordering again. I know you are trying new recipes so would definitely love some Trinidadian doubles.

Really Good food the Jerk Chicken was the best, delivery on time. Will defiantly be ordering again.

Firstly I would like to say that the food I ordered was received piping hot. Ticked box No.1 I ordered a variety of dishes including Jerk chicken, Curry goat, Escovietch fish, Rice and Peas, Plain Rice, Fried Dumplings and Mac and Cheese (No it was not all for me, it was for a party of 10!) All the food looked as good as the pictures on the website if not better, but most importantly the taste of all the dishes were exquisite. I am of Jamaican decent so I know my yard food and this was very very authentic! Compliments to the Chef Howard for looking after me with politeness and courteousness. No Real Mccoy style arms house restaurant owner giving you attitude here!! Will be going here regularly now!
