Insomnia Coffee Company in Redditch

I visited this coffee shop {situated inside Debenhams) last Friday with my mother. We both had a cappucino and a muffin. The coffee was good, but the muffins were stale. They were really hard to cut into. I ate some of mine then took it back. The 2 ladies serving apologised, and one fetched me a new muffin from somewhere in the back of the shop. The other lady looked a bit fed up. My mother's muffin was not replaced, and she ate it even though it was stale! She's 93 and doesn't like complaining. The second muffin I was brought was also stale I didn't eat it. The lady serving us apologised again, said the fridge is too cold, but no-one offered to give us our money back. In restrospect I know I should have asked for a refund. However, we've decided not to frequent this coffee shop again. There are plenty more coffee shops in Redditch!
