Indus indian takeaway in Bridgend

I can`t speak for all the dishes but the chicken madras and special fried rice are stunning such amazing flavours

How refreshing to see an Indian takeaway that makes every single dish....veggie!I know most would probably accommodate if asked but nice not to have to ask and it just being available.Had the vegetable tahali for one and with chips it was ample for two! Amazing value!!!

This was one of the worst Indian take outs I’ve had. I ordered a chicken jalfrezi the chicken was tough like it had been reheated and mostly contained onions. To all the travellers visiting the area I would not recommend this restaurant.

Just had king prawn tandoori, Chicken buna madras, Absolutely stunning, good as porthcawl tandoori if not better

40 minutes late, still waiting. spent £50. pants service and lied to on the phone!! very insulting and unprofessional.

I enjoy spicy / hot food. I regularly eat Vindaloo, I have eaten Phaal in the past and I have also eaten Naga dishes. The searing hot Naga Phaal at Indus was outside my comfort zone, (but I've found a new favourite Indian takeaway!!)General: Polite, professionally attired chefs. Prices are keen. Extensive menu selection including many lesser known dishes. Unlike Porthcawl's principal Indian restaurant they deliver, our order was very delayed but it was New Year's Eve.The only negative I can find is that they don't have garlic rice on the menu which is a staple in most Indian restaurants..My visit to this establishment was informed by the displayed food hygiene rating of 3/5, (Generally Satisfactory).

The sauce in the chicken tikka madras was a bit on the thin side and the taste one-dimensional. Decent takeaway value though.

Whilst at Tesco bay holiday park we ordered a chicken tikka masala , it was ok nothing special, bit too runny for my liking .prefer a thick sauce. Quick service and price was reasonable.

Don't like to leave negative review. But I felt the food was bland. Everything tasted the same. The onion bhaji was about the best thing and they were tiny. The tarka dal was just mushy. Anakarli bahar tasteless and pretty dry. Biriani sauce bland. Poor effort indus, will not be back.

We ordered a takeaway from Indus for a group of over 70 people. The order was delivered to our door piping hot and was great. Lovely friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

Excellent madras and korma take away. Very good quality and freshly cooked. Delivered to caravan in Trecco with no problem.

Cuando este abrió por primera vez la comida era excelente, pero con el tiempo se ha deteriorado. Es decepcionante como soy local a Porthcawl. Me he quejado de las comidas en el pasado, ya me siento feedback negativo es tan importante como el positivo. Seguí para ir a ellos, pero las cosas no han sido nada mejor. El Naan siempre es gomosa como si preparado y luego recalentadas y las patatas fritas como piedra. Es una pena para mí como yo creo en el apoyo a las empresas locales. Dado la oportunidad, pero no quiero perder más dinero.

Best Indian in Porthcawl! I would 100% recommend Indus to anyone, Good prices and quality food! Ahad is a top chef aswell!

Like to support local businesses but will not eat from here again. Onion bajiis were glutinous and tasteless and main meal of king prawn jalfrezii was like prawns in gravy!! Naan bread was leaden. So disappointing, most of it went in the bin.

Found this little gem last year ,best indian around , I'm very fussy with my indian food and would not eat any where else

Used to go here till I found out they use genetically modified ingredients. Now we go somewhere else.

Excellent Take Away and Delivery Service, been having take always since it opened, lovely food, good prices. You won't be disappointed! Keep it up guys!

We have never had a bad meal from here and they will accomodate your requests if reasonable, but we have had better,

Sólo tenía una llevar entregado a Caravan, tiempo estimado para la entrega era impecable y excelente comida. Nosotros 6 muy contentos con comida , grasienta no fumador y ser un habitual con comidas indias que espero volver aquí pronto.

As curries go, the Indus serves a pretty good curry. It's good value, the food is tasty, and the portions were on the generous side. And talking of generous, they threw in some complimentary poppadoms and pickles as well. I don't know if we'll be back in Porthcawl, but if we are then we'll definitely order from the Indus again.

First time we have ever had a takeaway from here but took a chance on a meal for two. So glad we did. Food was fabulous. So tasty and great value for money. We have a caravan in trecco so will be using them again soon.

This has been a real find. Porthcawl has a number of takeaways but this is by far the best for good food. Run by Miah , a very pleasant chap, the quality of food is such that there is never the risk of the curry repeating on you. Usually accompanied by some complementary taster or poppadum. The counter has open view of the kitchen which is spotless. I can only think the lower rating is because of paperwork. Beautiful chicken tikka nans and my wife loves the salad, specially made by Miah

Lovely food and fast delivery to your caravan. The only thing letting it down is the low hygiene rating. Sort it out guys!

The food was ok, we had it delivered and it arrived fairly quickly,The curry sauce was watery and tasteless, the plain nan was so dry that we couldn't eat it.But the rest was just ok.

we have tried every takeaway in and around Porthcawl and have usually gone to Le Raj but the food there seems to have gone downhill the past 3 or 4 times with dishes full of oil and not as good standard anyway my husband said the Indus had a poor reputation so hadn't had food there for many years, i convinced him to give it a try, the food was delivered hot and quickly the price of the meals was very good and everything was really tasty and plenty of meat in all the dishes,we had 3 different curry dishes 2 piliau rice onion bahjis and lemma nan, this also came with salad and 2 yogurt sauces and was under £28 including delivery, would definitely go back

We go here regularly even though we are in Broadlands and Indus is in Porthcawl. Everything is freshly made using fresh ingredients. We have tried various dishes and they have all been delicious. The owner is always very friendly and helpful too.

Man, i love there food!!! wow, first time just trying there food and delicious! definitely recommend to everyone who comes to porthcawl. lovely service and a great selection of food to choose from! the whole family love eating here and full marks 100% from us!

really good food. Good service and they now know how to do a G&T with cucumber. I fancied something madras strength with lots of taste. I was not disappointed.
