We visited this Indian on a Friday night, thinking that there would be a few people in. How wrong we were. It was all very strange. We got to the restaurant at about 7pm, thinking a few people may have gone in straight from work, but it was empty. We had a decent enough meal, at reasonable prices, with attentive staff (not surprising given the lack of customers), but by the time we left around 8pm, only 3 other people had come in. Plenty of takeaways going out, but no atmosphere at all in the restaurant itself. Don't know why, it really isn't that bad.

We discovered this restaurant purely by chance last year when staying in Bloomsbury, so did not hesitate to eat here again on this year's pre festive season trip. Have to admit I think I ordered the same thing - saag paneer & onion bhajis - as I enjoyed them so much last year. I do appreciate being able to order two small plates/side dishes as opposed to a larger main course, although my friend's main did look as though I would manage the lot! I will make a point of having something different next year, as I have no doubt we will eat here again. The gentleman we spoke to was delighted we had made a point of returning, & I assured him I had written a glowing review last year & would do so again after this visit. It's a small but beautifully put-together dining room, with a lovely atmosphere & charming people.

"Asian" seems a bit misleading, this is, as far as I understand, solely Indian restaurant. But a good one, definitely. Butter chicken was excellent.

Last week I didn’t get a delivery that I had paid for on-line and couldn’t get through to the restaurant. It was really frustrating but a few days Masala zone management from Earl’s Court contacted me and said they had a major glitch with the bookings system and telephone. Tonight they delivered me a free meal, delivered by a waitress in an Uber. How is that for fantastic service? It was very much appreciated. Thank you to Pravesh, Andra and the lovely waitress who made the delivery.

Nice little family run place. Food was amazing and the people are very nice, not expensive. We ordered the garlic naan, samosa's and chicken and lamb curry. It was all good and authentic, the garlic naan was my favourite.
