food came a lot later then expected by an hour, called the owner and he was very apologetic and said he had a busy night and that our food would be 20 mins and it was, food when it arrived was hot and fresh, I still recommend this place for nice food

Arrived over 2hrs after placing order, 1hr 20 after original delivery time. I could’ve lived with that if the food was nice but it wasn’t hot, it was warm at a push and had clearly been sat there awhile, probably shot in the microwave before setting off. Massive disappointment

I normally get a Indian which we enjoy, but tonight we tried a chicken parmo....yeh it wasnt great, it was a circular, chicken was on the thin side but wasn't to thin, needed more bech, and the base of the parmo was like mush...needs improvement 4/10

Shocking service waited 2 hours to find out my order was not coming to be told I was called but I really never was avoid this shocking place

The most expensive dish on the order was missing, to be shared between 2 people, and couldn’t get a response from readers when trying to contact. Matter eventually resolved with ‘just eat’ credit. I’d have preferred a refund, or to get the food I ordered.

Used to he really nice but curry had absolutely no flavour and was really watery. Onion bhajis were greasy and tasted strongly of cardamom. Garlic naan wasn't really garlicky. Big let down.

Where is my food I have not received it

Food was unpleasant. Cold on arrival, and just an ynpleasant taste. a few mouthfuls and straight to the bin.

Parmo was burnt crispy chips were only half cooked swimming in grease lamb on pizza was black won’t be ordering again

ordered before and food was spot on. tonight wasn't great. ordered Madras and got Madras sauce and was missing the drink. some of the food tasted metallic. really really poor

this place i 100 percent recommend, the food is lovely and hot when it arrived.

The lamb tikka was hard and chewy, the chicken was dry, nether dish had any real taste, what the king prawn was trying to be, sort of Kentucky fried breadcrumbs, couldn't taste the prawn, but at least they left the shell on for identification purpose

Use this takeaway often and always good! Tonight’s was no exception lovely meal everything perfectly spiced and cooked. Well done Indian spice!

Arrived more than 30 mins late, lamb madras was watery and lacked flavour. Was about 6 pieces of meat in the curry also.

Food was cold after being one hour and a half late. Rang twice and was hung up on once.

The jal korma sauce was a little weak and thin, but was still enjoyable when eaten with the rice dishes and nan breads.

The food is lovely.. but unfortunately it was cold upon arrival as it was 40 mins over the estimated time of arrival so very disappointing.

We ordered from here tonight and the food came hot. The vindaloo was OK but too much tomatoes in it. The korma paneer was delicious. Coconut rice amazing too! Onion bhaji was alright, could be improved as it was too chewy and gooey not crispy. Overall though, the food was really nice and I'd order again.

Order came early which was great for me as finished work and just wanted to eat and then be able to chill. Food was piping hot, tasty plenty of meat, loads of mushrooms in the mushroom rice. Won’t go anywhere else in future.

Order arrived 45 mins later than originally stated and only advised me once I enquired. Once arrived, the salad and yoghurt dip were missing, the chips were warmed up and the poppadoms were stale. Won’t be ordering from them again. Poor service and no compensation offered.

I love everything about this place the food comes fast its fresh hot and tasty also when you open the bags it hasnt spilled out all over the place like most places ive ordered from ordered twice now (different apps) and both times perfect.

Super fast delivery and food was piping hot. Really delicious and flavourful, naans were some of the best we’ve had, high quality meat and rice was perfect. Would absolutely recommend and will be ordering from again.

Haven't been for quite a while so was pleasantly surprised it's been done out and looks much better. The menu is quite extensive and I can only comment on what I had tonight. The Shahi rice was very tasty with sultanas peppers and other finely chopped veg, but didn't find any nuts in it. which didn't really bother me. The Prawn Rogan Josh was very tasty with just the right amount of spice and a lovely tomato base to the sauce. Chips were almost perfect,firm but soft to eat and Chicken Pakora 👍

Really disappointed, chicken jalfrezi was full of oil, had potatoes in it and was mostly shredded chicken! naan was delicious, rice was so so and greasy. I definitely won't be ordering again, even my mini pig wouldn't eat it

❌‼️🚫 ONE STAR IF I COULD‼️🚫❌ I recently dined at Indian Spice on Roman Road, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. The Rogan Josh I ordered was utterly disappointing—the dish was loaded with raw masala and chunks of undercooked tomatoes, completely ruining the flavors. To make matters worse, when I called to express my concerns, the manager was dismissive and unhelpful, showing no interest in resolving the issue. I expected much better quality and service. Sadly, I won't be returning.‼️

This place used to be our favourite Indian takeout and a go-to for a lamb puri. Unfortunately, this was not the case this evening. This place must have changed hands as the food has criminally gone downhill. Dry puri bread was like chewing on ghandis sandles. The curry was way too hot it used to be fragrant and a nice kick not hot enough to have you spending the night on the bog with your backside feeling vesuvius. Uneatable and so disappointed. The bhaji was okay, but that's as much as I can say for that, and the chips seemed undercooked or reused. Even our toddler wanted to put them in the bin, and he goes mad for most chips. The samosa had a nice texture but lacked flavour. We won't be using indian spice ever again.

It was our first time ordering from here tonight and wow absolutely beautiful food, the curries we ordered were full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The meat was lovely and plenty of it! Very happy we’ve found this place and will of course be back 😊 not forgetting to mention the delivery was on point also. Arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected which is always a bonus and found our door straight away (it isn’t easy lol)

I always order from here and they have the absolute best butter chicken I've ever had! I know why have indian if I only have butter chicken but it's amazing so flavourful and the perfect amount of "heat" for me. Always on time delivery if not early and finally the naan!!! I always get the cheese naan again amazing, my partner who "doesn't like" Indian loves their naan and the occasional time he actually orders he gets the mixed grill which he just raves about. Amazing everytime I've ordered!

food wasnt up to normal standard prawn madras watery keema naan was very pale have used them for many years

My husband ordered vegetable Podina. It was horrible minty. He could taste anything, just pure jelly mint. Nan bread was too salty. We spent £25 and the food sits on the table. I definitely won't order again
