Ordered £60 worth of food and we were all really disappointed. Hair in curry and another baked into a naan. One of which was burnt. Curries very oily and tastless. Contacted twice by email to complain and no response. Never by from again!

Visited the Indian Lounge for a meal with friends. The service was good, we were welcomed and seated suitably in the restaurant. We had a chutney tray for starters and really enjoyed. For mains we had a variety of dishes. Lamb Madras-Amazing Garlic Chilli Chicken (with a vindaloo sauce)- spicy but not over powering. Chicken Tikka Masala-nice mellow curry with plenty of flavour. The meals went down extremely well and the service was quick and pleasant. Only let down, the card machine wasn’t working so had to go and get cash to pay (not the end of the world)

We visited the Indian lounge on Saturday night on the spur of the moment for a takeaway, both of the meals were delicious, hot and a lot of it. We found the dishes to be of a good quality. The staff in collection were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again and will even book a table. The prices are quite reasonable too. Well worth it.

Had a takeaway delivered from the Indian lounge recently. Very poor quality chicken and not many pieces in the speciality dish I ordered. The garlic nan was half cooked. Popabom was stale. Waste of money for fifteen pound. Will not be order again.

First time eating here, it was delicious. The food was outstanding the place was spotless snd the service spot on. Can’t wait to go again

Arrived to confusion over booking they had the numbers wrong but was easily rectified as eating early and restaurant was practically empty but soon fulled up within the hour. Staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the meals on the menu as one of the party needed gluten-free dishes. Meals were served piping hot and although very nice all seemed on the mild side compared to other restaurants (ordered wide variety of dishes so expected some heat). The restaurant was very comfortable and cool thanks to the air conditioning as outside the temperature were in this July heatwave. Only grumble was how long had to wait for the bill as had to ask for it 3 times and the restaurant was not mega busy at that time. Would definitely recommend and will revisit again.

I tried The Indian Lounge for the first time last week. I had the lamb tikka masala, lamb korma special fried rice, chips, keema naan and poppadoms with dips. The lamb tikka masala wasn’t very nice, it had a funny taste on the sauce and about three small pieces of lamb. I did enjoy the lamb korma. The chips, poppadoms and rice was nice, the keema naan didn’t have much meat in there and basically just tasted like rough bread. They were very fast delivering the order but I feel like most of it wasn’t very good and I don’t think it was worth the money. Maybe I will try again and see but not anytime soon.

We had a lovely take away from here so thought we would try it again. When our curry had arrived it seemed they were the same as before. We thought they may have messed our order up so didnt moan and ordered again but the curries were exactly the same. Lovely people and foodbut too spicy and not what we had before so abit disappointed

This is not a big restaurant but the food is excellent and so is the service. The restaurant is comfortable and the staff are helpful and have a good knowledge of the dishes. A lovel6 place to eat.

Can’t believe it was so quiet as the food was excellent, reasonably priced as well , we both had specials and both were great would recommend the shashlick pathia, and the honey and mustard dish can’t remember the name though.

I visited here for the first time a few months ago and forgot to put a review, it was a lovely venue, very helpful and friendly staff and fabulous, tasty, authentic food. Well impressed and can’t wait to go again.

Orderd here about 6weeks ago dident think much at all no flavour to curry and chips wernt all that.Lastweek we tried again and was realy pleased so tasty just a risk everytime with a takeaway somtimes nice somtimes not "/

Our first trip to the revamped restaurant. An excellent meal all-round. Poppadums and pickles to start. Crisp and some original, tasty pickles/chutneys. Then naga lamb and Nepalese chicken. Both delightful. All the necessary spicyness while being really tasty. Sides of bombay aloo, chilli & corriander naan and pilau rice were all execellent, Cooked to perfection. Highly recommended, we will return.

Decided to celebrate the end of our summer hols with a meal out, chose the Indian Lounge Maesteg and wasn't disappointed . The restaurant was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The Chilli chicken was enormous and halfway through I thought I was going to fail but persevered and no regrets. My other half had Lamb Balti and said it was delicious and plentiful. The little ones (19 and15) had chicken korma and chicken tikka and cleared their plates, lots of various rice and naan breads and we're all stuffed. A great end to the hols and a great choice for a night out, brilliant.......

Popped in last night with friends, for the first time since it's reopening. Everything was very clean, and new, and the atmosphere, quiet and relaxed. The service was efficient, the waiters pleasant, and helpful, but more importantly, the food was excellent. Both friends were also very impressed, andandA all agreed, we'd certainly come again.

Very disappointed with the quality and quantity of food. Nowhere nearly as good as when Mumtaz were there.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is really tasty and plenty of it too. The atmosphere is good and decor nice too. Love it here

The restaurant has been decorated to a high standard. Very welcoming our food was lovely very pleased toilets very clean would go again but for a special occasion as I found it a little expensive best to book xx

A group of 14 had dinner here after a show. This new restaurant has been open a few months and it's doing really well. Everyone enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent and the service was first class.We will definitely be returning.Thank you to Mohammed for looking after us so well
