The late delivery was not the fault of the restaurant, they even rang us to apologise. One of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had. Delicious, quality ingredients, generous portions. Will definitely be ordering again.

Fresh, authentic food and warm hospitality. An intimate venue, well worth a visit. There is a clear passion for food, and this is evident in the quality of the dishes.

Como siempre, una velada fabulosa en Indian Express, un lugar que visitamos regularmente siendo locales. La comida es siempre fresca y sabrosa. El hecho de que sea BYOB significa que la factura es razonable. El servicio es eficiente y amable. Además, a menudo conocemos a otras personas interesantes. Esta noche no fue diferente. Conocimos a un par de turistas franceses.

Pasamos unos días en Londres, en la zona de Earl's Court, y buscamos un restaurante indio. Este surgió como recomendación, así que decidimos probarlo y nos encantó. La comida era excelente, súper sabrosa y perfectamente equilibrada. El servicio fue excepcional, especialmente por parte del propietario, que tuvo una conversación muy agradable con nosotros. Si nos hubiéramos quedado más tiempo, sin duda habríamos vuelto. Muy recomendable

Tried this rather than my usual place. It’s average probably less spice then supermarket equivalent (I am not talking chilli content). Not sure would order again. Biryani is the test. Very little meat and a veg curry more sauce than vegetables.

Mi amigo y yo fuimos a cenar relativamente tarde en la noche después del trabajo. Estábamos hambrientos y pensamos en darle una oportunidad a Indian Express y definitivamente no decepcionó. Estaba ocupado e inmediatamente entendí por qué después de probar la comida. El equilibrio perfecto de sabor, especias y consistencias. Por no hablar del personal que también era tan acogedor y amable. Volveré al 100% y lo recomendaré a mis amigos y familiares.

Fantástica casa de curry - nuestro favorito en el área local. A un precio razonable con comida de buen sabor, trae tu propia cerveza si vas a comer también.

Excellent service. Delicious food which tasted authentic. The restaurant does not have an alcohol licence, but we were encouraged to buy alcohol from a nearby Sainsbury's. Highly recommended.

We were vacationing in London and lived close to this restaurant in West Kensington and almost had dinner or take out every night. The food is simply delish!! It says Indian but flavors are bangladeshi which although intersects with indian and pakistani flavours, still has a unique taste. Balti curry, tandoori and kababs were our favorite. The spices were just so lovely to eat without causing any stomach upset. Will definitely stop again at our next visit. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Plus point is the owner is very friendly and so are the wait staff which adds to enjoying the experience. Thank you to the Indian Express staff including cook who made our vacation experience unforgettable!

This spot is amazing!! The ambience is warm and welcoming, food prices are reasonable but above all the food is fresh and delicious!! It's the best Indian food I can ever remember having. If you want an amazing experience they will not disappoint!!

Arriving with the family of four kids, we were met with the most friendly and open personnel ever. We found our seats outside and left it up to them to recommend to our spice-level. It matched us perfectly with butter chicken and masala for the kids and perfect lamb and chicken dishes for the adults. With BYO we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine also. The staff were an all time high on friendliness and service.

Food was amazing, and the service and friendliness of staff was even better. Absolutely top score! The place is small, and very popular, but even though we did not have reservations, they made room for us. Lots of locals and repeat guest - totally understandable.

Scoperto per caso e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Piccolissimo ristorante (una ventina di coperti) in zona West Kensington, sempre affollato per cui conviene prenotare. I piatti sono sempre fatti sul momento, per cui un po’ di attesa, non troppa in verità, c’è. Varietà di piatti e sapore molto buono, e i camerieri vi consiglieranno in base ai vostri gusti, soprattutto sul piccante. Ottimi i dolci. Ovviamente non servono alcolici, ma la cosa gradita è che possono essere portati dal cliente. Prezzo un po più elevato della media dei ristoranti etnici londinesi, siamo intorno ai 35-40 Pound a testa, ma vale la pena.

I rang the restaurant an hour and 10 minutes after I had ordered. The food arrived cold and the mint sauce had spilled all over the food.

I have a strong suspicion this restaurant has paid money for it's good reviews. They bamboozled me into ordering from them and Oh my days. Take it from someone who grew up in Southall. This curry tasted of thin air. Korma, tika masala, Chana aloo, parathas, there wasn't one hint of flavour in any of it. The currys came in sealed plastic containers and I have a strong suspicion they were MICROWAVED. Do not trust these reviews. When calling the restaurant the complain he tried making excuses and tried to almost gas light me into believing I don't know what Tika masala tastes like. Utter waste of money

If you want mint yogurt that looks like shreks reproductive fluid and and curry with less flavour than plain flour and less meat than a vegan apple pie then this is the curry house for you , just awful

Lukewarm. Watery. Couldn’t even find prawns and hardly any chicken. Horrible bland taste throughout. Never again. Very disappointed.

The food was okay. I ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala and from the reviews I expected it to be good. It wasn’t the bright red colour it was was in the menu image, it was more orange and definitely not sweet at all really. The sauce was watery. I’ve had a lot of chicken tikka masala curries and this wasn’t it unfortunately. The garlic naan was good at least. And delivery driver came all the way to the door and arrived early.

First time ordering from here but so glad I did the delivery was fast And the food was delicious Will definitely be using again Very happy customer

Lovely food and brilliant service

The food was delivered late and when it came it was all cold. The raita was curdled and generally the food was pretty nasty.

After trying few Indians in the area, this is the one i love to order from no doubt! Really good and testy food + good prices.

Always a pleasure to order from them , the service and staff are very nice indeed and the food is top class...never had a bad meal in all the years I have eaten there

The briyani was very very oily and tasteless. The prawns where not king prawns. They where tiny regular prawns. The peshwari naan bread was like plain naan bread. There was very minimal coconut and almond inside to the point that I had to check inside to seeing I was given the right naan bread. I was very disappointed with the food, especially for the price I expected better. I would not recommend to anyone.

Tasteless curry not a curry more like chicken in tomato sauce must have been from frozen tasteless waste of money.

Finally I find a great Indian after moving to SW5 in June. Recommended!

First time trying this place whilst in London. We ordered the lamb biryani, chicken jalfrezi and madras. I have to say the food was spot on, very good. Will definitely order from here again if I’m in London.

Food delicious. Courier, despite clear instructions, went off piste. We spoke on the phone; pointless. He didn’t listen. Eventually he rang back and was able to explain coherently where he was. From there we guided him. Ridiculous incompetence. Not sure he’s suited to being a courier. I am an experienced motorcycle despatch rider; he is a fruit bat! You win some, you lose some.😎

I love Indian food as I’m Indian, I’m a great cook myself, I know what quality of food and taste is, and this was nice, the king prawns were delicious, the chicken curry was OK, but overall enjoyed it!

The Saag Dada was great! The Tikka Masala and Sutra Korma were bland -tasteless.

The best and hottest phall I’ve ever had! Lovely chicken tikka masala too, I always ask for my phall’s extra spicy and whilst the lovely guy on the phone tried to discourage me I’m really grateful they added extra chillies. Will only order from here now on :)

Visited the restaurant while visiting London. After looking at many reviews we decided to dine there. Food exceeded expectations. Service was great. Certainly recommend. When I travel back to London I will certainly dine there again. Job well done!!!

My girlfriend and her Dad have spoken of Indian Express for over 6 months now, so I was bound to go in with high expectations… These expectations however, were greatly surpassed! Personally, I am not the most tolerant with spice yet the rest of the group were and when ordering, we ordered dishes that were traditionally quite hot; Rocky, (the owner) learned of this and instead of just diluting the spice in his food, he tailored the dishes to match all of our tastes.This was one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to and I would recommend it (like many) to anyone visiting or living in West Kensington.

Fantastic Food everything made and tasted fresh.I have eaten at hundreds of Indian restaurants this small establishment is easily in my top 3.I highly recommend the food and service Bonus was BOB and no corkage charge.Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and staff.The restaurant is small about 10 tables so you need to book,very clean and a not posh but fantastic wee place for a great meal

The food here is great, really good flavour and very good prices. The food wasn't greasy or heavy like some Indian restaurants. Very good service and they tell you it's being your own bottle at the start so you can go to the Sainsbury's up the road. I would definitely return to the restaurant if I was in the area.
