Indian Delight (Vegetarian) in Mendip

We got a thali and a vegetable briyani. The owner catered the spice levels to our taste and we greatly appreciated that. The food was fresh and delicious. The owner was sweet and friendly. The space is small but he is just starting out. It has its own charm, it’s nice that it’s small so you get a personalised service. I wish it the best.

Super friendly and welcoming restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious, big variety of Indian vegetarian food. The price was reasonable. Definitely I will repeat next time I visit Glastonbury.

Stopped in here for lunch today, while bimbling along the Gauntlet. Very friendly pair running it. I had the thali - fantastic! Lovely dishes of mushrooms, sag aloo, rice and others, the bread was great - I forgot to ask what it was called.

The best Tarka Dahl and veggie rice. 😋

Nice food, but the salad that came with it was vvvvv old. Doesn’t give confidence of what goes into the stuff you can’t see. Service wasn’t overly friendly.

A really nice vegetarian restaurant in town! Food is amazing, all freshly cooked! I ate here three days straight, that tells how much I love it. I had tali all three days, and owner also cooked to my specific request if no onions. I would come here everyday is I live in town :)

Walked past and the smell was so nice we went in for a bite, had 3 different Thali. All were cooked fresh and tasted superb. Special mention for the nicest onion bhaji ever! The host was very friendly and we would not hesitate to go back.

Wowee fantastic food soooooo yummy excellent price excellent service totally worth sampling these delicious delights! slightly odd interior but once you accept it and let your taste buds takeover you enjoy this tasty Indian food, (me and my partner had the thali) the veg masala, veg korma, okra, sag paneer and rice, it was all so so good!!!! my partner had the same but swapped the sag paneer for the dhal and that was yummy too plus we had the samosas and onion bhajis, and needless to say we both walked out completely stuffed because it was so tasty we had no self control and ate everything 🤣 luckily there’s lots of places to walk around and burn it off afterwards, I highly recommend this experience it’s totally worth it, thank you cafe delight it was amazing 😊🙏

The chef is charming, the food is as authentic and yummy as you could wish for. It’s a little cramped (you’re kind of eating in his kitchen!) everything is cooked fresh to order. The food is just so good. It didn’t have any of that disgusting excess oil or cheap spices. It’s fresh, healthy and as delicious as if you were in India itself. I wish this eatery great success 🙏 thank you for a lovely meal

The food was excellent and the meat substitute bacon and sausage for the English Breakfast here was so lifelike I was blown away!

Wonderful friendly place. They made a gorgeous variety of dishes for my daughter’s birthday. All our guests were so impressed. I thoroughly recommend their vegan dishes especially the tarka dahl and samosas. I won’t hesitate to use them again.
