One of the go to places for me to have Indian cuisine around this place. One of the best Indo-Chinese food that I have had since coming to UK- their chilli chicken & prawn schezwan rice is simply mouthwatering. Rest of the food that we had also deserves the same the appreciation. Courteous staff & reasonably priced. Definitely worth visiting or ordering in.

Best masala dosa in London. The dosa, bhaaji, chutneys and sambhar were all top-notch.

We had a takeaway with very specific orders and enhancements. The food was delivered ahead of schedule and the flavours and quality were excellent.

I have proper Indian food in hole Uk and there is Indian spices used in all items and they have India atmosphere in restaurant I liked so much and I enjoyed food very well

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service that made the experience truly special. The food quality is outstanding. I tried their Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani and Lamb Biryani, and both were simply out of this world! Every bite transported me straight to India – the spices were perfectly balanced, and the rice was cooked to perfection. Their Garlic Naan was a delight – soft, thin, and incredibly flavorful, just as it should be. To top it all off, I ended my meal with their Gulab Jamun, which was absolutely divine – warm, sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! It was the perfect way to end a fantastic dining experience. I’m already counting down to the weekend so I can come back with my family for dinner. I also discovered that they offer catering services and host get-together parties at the restaurant, which is a fantastic option for anyone planning a special occasion. Found a real Indian flavour restaurant in Gants hill area after a long time, staff were very attentive welcoming and supportive to choose items, they have all knowledge of their menu wich is appreciable, thank you for good food and service, gonna be keep coming place for us😍

It is a nice little restaurant with authentic flavours for South Indian and North Indian dishes. We had a dinner for 2 with vegetarian only options. The portion sizes were generous and flavourful. The papdi chaat lacked some 'kick' and was a bit too mild. The Vada Saambar is nice. Vegetable kothu roti was good and a decent portion size. The paneer dosa was a slight let down as there was too much tamarind in the mix and also in one of the chutneys. This made the dish a bit too sweet. I feel that they are holding back on the use of a lot of salt for the benefit of their customers, but it is impacting the flavours somewhat. Overall, it was a good experience with staff, dishes and the service. A nice little place to get authentic flavours provided you don't need the salt and chilli kick in your dishes.

Wanted to share a successful family event for 35 people or so organised at Indian Aroma in Ilford. It was a huge success! Everybody enjoyed the food and the hospitality. Staff were genuinely involved in making the event memorable and pleasant . As with family events with kids it's tricky to get it right with 30 plus without flexibility and efforts from hosting venue and catering setups . Sudhirs team aced both for us ! I normally don't do any reviews or feed back but this is my first time where I was unable to stop myself and making my view point regarding Indian Aroma, One of the Best Dosa ever I have eaten, vegi Samosa and onion bhaji great too. All my friends love this place for parties and weekend eat out.

I had a Wonderful last night eating with my friends in Indian restaurant. The service and staff was amazing and provide really quality food and drinks. I love this Indian hospitality.

Being a vegetarian, it’s difficult to find a restaurant which serves soulful food but my experience at Indian aroma was amazing. I had one of the best meals. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to have really good vegetarian food.

So where do I begin. Firstly the service was absolutely a pleasurable experience. Although the location is small in comparison to the average Indian restaurant, this place packs a good punch! For starters my wife and I had the chicken tikka, chilli paneer & lamb chops. You can immediately sense the original of the chef which was confirmed to be South India. The chef has somehow blended the north and south with such delicacy that it’s quite amazing if you take a minute to taste, just wow! The only feedback which was taken so well by the way was the cut of the lamb chops. They said they will certainly be looking for a better supplier which was excellent. Regarding main, wife had the chicken tikka masala and I had the lamb madras. I can honestly say with over 3030 years existence on this planet, but I’ve never tasted a lamb madras quite like the one I just had. The staff was so friendly and the only feedback at the end of the day barring the lamb chops was to make sure that they do not get rid of this chef! Me and my family will be coming back for sure!

One of the best Indian Restaurants in London to try Indian Cuisine, especially southern delicacies. Their Biriyanis stood out and not the least to mention their snacks line up. They have got sweets and savouries too. Worth a while to try at Gants Hill. Special Thanks to Manager Rohit.

I am so disappointed. We were craving biryani so ordered 2 x chicken biryani on Uber Eats. The package looked promising when it arrived. We opened up one container, started serving.... Where's the chicken?? Looked through both containers and there were two measly bone pieces in both of them... Guys I ordered chicken biryani not just biryani rice!! It was not at all worth it even with a promotion... To be honest I feel quite ripped off ☹️👎🏾

This restaurant is overrated. The food was just okay, though the service was good. The waitress was attentive and careful when discussing the menu, which I appreciated. The place was clean, but the decor was average, and they awkwardly left decorations at the entrance. The frequent banging of the door as people came and went was distracting and annoying.

29/9 - Indian Aroma is our go to restaurant the last few years. We are pretty much there every week !!! Last night we had a family group dinner with 24 if us attending and it couldn't have been better. Rohith handled the booking and was present throughout the meal. Krupal served us and as always very polite, professional and helpful. Everyone enjoy the food which was served piping hot. The quality of the dishes could it be faulted. If you like tasty and spicy food this is the place!! Dishes can be made less spicy on request and it's just good decent authentic food, we absolutely love it🥰 Thank you to Rohith and the team for taking such good care of us !!! Walked in last night and found this little humble place was serving lovely authentic food. We were served by Rohit and Krupal who were really attentive, honest, warm and friendly. The staff were very knowledgeable and explained they had several chefs working to create dishes from different parts of India. Have to say this isn't a fancy place it's very simple, but the food was of a very good standard and certainly value for money. There was Indian music playing off a large monitor and we could see it is popular with home deliveries too. Good portions served, we tried the chilli paneer, samosa channa chat and prawns to start and then dhosa, chicken kadai curry for mains. Everything was served piping hot and tasted delicious. Will definitely be going back with family and friends!!! Honest authentic food as it says on the shop front :))) for those who like a bit of spice and kick in their food this would be a new haunt for you for sure ;) a special thanks to Rohit for treating us so well with his cheery disposition :))))) Went again yesterday 7/5/22 and were greeted with the same service from Rohit and Krupal, we were a larger group this time and the food was thoroughly enjoyed, could not fault anything!!! I had a very good experience in here, I like to go places alone and single by my self, and that day I went to kalki movie and returning home and I feel hungry and searched for Indian food and then I find a great place which is this Indian Aroma, They had multiple and very good dishes with great Indian taste, their service was extraordinary, specially the girl named Sravani was soo kind and soo helpful with the menu and her service was fast. I was soo hungry and ordered multiple of items like for starters I ordered lamb chops & drums of heaven (chicken lollipops), the lamb chops was okay but not so great because the meat on the bone was soo less and the amount for that meat is not worth,the chicken lollipops was good,taste and soo spicy, which is my kind of spicy,but it’s soo oily and too much food colour. And for mains I ordered Hyderabad chicken dum biryani, which was soo good and great taste and definitely worth of trying and price of biryani was also affordable, and the special sauces that came with biryani was also good. After having this much of food we definitely need a dessert to fulfil my tummy, so for the dessert I ordered gulab jamun, basically the gulab jamun is full of sugar syrup and soft dumplings, if the sugar syrup overload then it will taste bad, but after a long time I had a very good and tasty gulab jamun with perfect level sugariness and wonderful taste I definitely recommend to every one to try this restaurant..

Gobi manchurian and chilli chicken really tastes awsome, and Particularly in desserts Carrot halwa is superb and Dosa Sambar is very tasty, Biryani both chicken and lamb are very good Overall, Indian Aroma food tastes very authentic. They take immense care about spice levels in all the dishes they made as per customer choice and preference. Indian Aroma did the catering for our wedding of 140 people, and provided the most wonderful food and service, at a very reasonable price. This included making and serving dosas fresh during our outdoor wedding reception, and then providing a vegetarian buffet for a wonderful sit down meal, followed by snacks later in the evening. They were delightful to engage with from start to finish, and were so conscientious whenever we needed to speak to them- they were really professional and charming and all of our guests remarked on how great the food was. We can’t wait until it is our wedding anniversary so we can go back to eat in their restaurant, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

After very Long time i have found authentic Punjabi Food , Paneer Kadai was too good, Paneer Tikka was the best i have ever had in London, and my favourite Gulab Jamun was the best. Thanks to Service Manager and Indian Aroma. I would defiantly visit again. Thanks Again

We used Indian Aroma for a catering event at work. The food was first class and nice n hot. I would definitely recommend them for a sit down meal, takeaways or catering event!

We ordered lunch for 36 guests. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially Hyderabadi Biriyani and Lamb Chettinad. The cost was reasonable and quantity was generous. Food was delivered hot in large casseroles. Nothing was too much for the manager Rohit to provide.

I had pleasure of having a lovely, tasty authentic India (South Indian) food in Gants hill twice in 7 days. Here Dosa, Idly along with Sambhar, Chutneys are must have (these are with authentic Indian spices and taste). I also enjoyed juices (Mango Lassi and Lemonade. Ambience is also great with OLD vs New Bollywood songs playing. I would highly recommend India Aroma for lovely and authentic India food.

Picked up food at an event in bexleyheath 13/07 and it was really good! Had the chicken masala biryani at the pop up shop in Bexleyheath, the staff were great at explaining what the biryanis were and the food was great thank you for the customer service from staff and 100% would recommend going to have a try as the food was full of flavour and tasted just like home!

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I had a wonderful experience with most of the dishes. The rasmalai was absolutely delicious—my first time trying it, and I loved it! The fried rice and chili chicken were also excellent, full of flavor and very satisfying. However, the Hyderabadi chicken biryani was a bit of a letdown for me. As someone from the south, I didn’t feel it was very authentic to the traditional Hyderabadi biryani. It was okay, but I preferred the other items much more.

Always impressed that the waiters take our order without writing it down and get it correct everything Dosas are lovely but their paneer tikka stays in my head rent free because I love it so much

What an exceptional team. They went above and beyond what we expected. After catering at our wedding they not only brought some of the most diverse menu sets I have ever seen, but alongside the plethora of dishes they brought an amazing ambiance and service. It's lovely welcome by staff it's quick service here as we sat got menu select starters with drink arrives quickly,it's tasty food I ever had within those I visited Indian restaurants in London,food is tasty here not even I said I heard from other tables that is accountable then I ordered Poori Chana Masala, usually it's North Indian dish n it's hard to make but I enjoyed this dish very much dish come with two big poori,it's flat wheat bread dipfried in vegetable oil,it's perfect no oil dripping n fully balloon type that makes mouth watering had two additional poori after finishing first lot, definitely come again restaurant having plenty seating inside n toilet facility inside, wheelchair accessible door , parking outside along road side you have to find but it's very close to Gants hills underground train station,so two minutes walk,they do deliveries as well order by Just Eat n diliveroo either

I recently tried Dosa and Biryani, and they exceeded my expectations. The crispy texture of Dosa and the fragrant aroma of Biryani were amazing. My first outing of 2022 was a memorable one...thanks to tasteful Indian curries and starters at Indian Aroma. Qulity & quantity both were good and worth every penny, by far better VFM than many so called Indian cusine restaurants. The place was packed and had to wait for 20mins.....it was worth the wait. Should mention that staff were courteous and all smiles. Keep the good work....will visit soon!
