Staff so friendly and welcoming. Best fish and chips we’ve tasted in years. Really fresh and absolutely delicious! Even got a complimentary tub of hummus. If you want great service and delicious food, this is the place. Will not be going anywhere else for fish and chips!

Just another random fish and chippy in East London. Let me tell you what happened. The restaurant was very dirty so I eat in. The staff was very rude. The food costed very expensive and it lacked taste and flavour. It was so hot in here that I was almost sweating to death I’m not lying. Seriously an awful experience and I will not return. He doesn’t deserve my business or service!

First time visiting Chariots, I was impressed by their generous portions, reasonably priced menu, no complaints about food quality and was served quickly even though things appeared busy, I was greeted by friendly accommodating staff. Definitely earned another visit from me and a personal recommendation. 👍 And to think not so long ago Fish 'n' chips was considered a cheap working man's dinner. 😉

I have to drive past 2 fish and chip shops to go to this clean modern tidy 1 , We have been in here a few times and decided to leave a review because of polite, friendly service with good food nice when you are on the go thank you Joseph

Brilliant service happy, patient and funny employee’s. It’s a nice and clean shop a lot of seats. Food is really good as always. You can’t beat their Peri Peri Salt on a classic large portion of chips couple beers and the footy on. Happy days mate 😇

Man serving at this restaurant harassed a woman passing by on the street just tonight. Shoung at her through the window. You could see she was scared, just trying to walk home. Absolutely disgusting especially in this day and age. Not buying my chips from here ever again.

Absolutely great service, appreciated everything from service to food to prices. Our order at this stage was a tiny bit annoying (I say this myself because of the requests I made) but they accommodated perfectly without any complaints. Great food, great price very happy :D

They advertise cod with chips in the photos so you pay £11 for just a fish no chips so disappointing

The cod & chips was not enjoyable. The food was not hot and tasted like it had been left sitting around for too long. I won't be going back. The Broadway Fish House cooks food fresh at the point of order - the wait is longer and the cost slightly more expensive, but the quality is much much better.

I went to this fish bar after school today, to order my friends some chips. The staff were really welcoming and that added to the experience. The portion size was great and the chips were freshly cooked. My friends enjoyed the food and I will most certainly make a return to this chip shop.

This place used to be one of my favourite fish and chips. Unfortunately it's gone downhill, the last few times I've got the fish I couldn't even eat it, the taste was awful. Very disappointed ☹️

The fish had tiny bones which unfortunately put me off. Such a shame. It could have been a one off. Everything else great however ordered on Uber Eats and the mushy peas had spilt from the pot in to the paper bag.

I had a piece of cod, my wife had skate, it was absolutely beautiful. I've had fish and chips here a few times, always very good and the staff more than helpful.

Just had a regular fish, chips and a curry sauce. Have to say, I was amazed when tucking into my fish. I travel around the country and Not had a chunky bit of cod like that in a very long time. Was a splendid surprise. Cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

Only fish & chips place to go in woodford for excellent quality at a very reasonable price. Can I just say, the home made Tartar sauce supplied was the best we've ever tasted. Thanks also for putting in extra pieces of cod bites, much appreciated, and trying to make my chips crispy (when your super busy).

size of the fish appears to be a lot smaller. even for the large. not sure if there's been a change of management

Arrived just in time for fish out of the fryer! Cod was both meaty and tender, chips were good colour, crisp outside and soft inside. Pleasant service too and good value for money!

I rarely post reviews on google but this has to be the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. The chips are perfection, curry sauce is super delicious, and cod is meaty and tender - this is definitely my new go-to fish n chips shop 😋
