Capos Desserts in Redbridge

I was looking for drinks at Seven Kings where there were so many bubble tea shops. Ended up at Capos because of the Cherry Bakewell milkshake. It was not a bad milkshake but couldn't quite taste the almond or cherry. Visually it lacked a cherry to garnish, however it was nice as you could taste that it was a whole cherry Bakewell tart blended with vanilla ice cream. Anyway, the staff could have been more informative when I asked what was in the milkshakes instead of me suggesting what was in it like ice cream or milk because I don't exactly work there!!

Got a milkshake, was thick nice texture - I asked for a Ferrero Roche rather then that they used chocolate chips and roasted nuts and tasted nothing like Ferrero Roche - very disappointed.

I was craving something sweet on one of the weekdays and decided to take the family for dessert during the evening. As Capos is opposite Seven Kings train station, I just about found parking even though it was after 9 pm. I can imagine how difficult parking must be during peak hours. The inside had about 5 tables that could have a total capacity of 20 people if it got really busy. The tables were evenly spaced out where you can still enjoy some separation. We waited about 5 minutes before we were served as there were a few people ahead of us. The staff member came and took our order which was 1) Strawberry Crepe ordered by the wife. She gave this a 10/10 saying that the sweetness was perfectly balanced and the crepes were well made. 2) Doughnut Stack ordered by me. I gave it a 10/10 as I got three small-sized doughnuts that felt freshly made with heavenly sauces and chocolate on there with vanilla ice cream. 3) Oreo Cookie dough ordered by my teenage son. He almost finished it but said it was too sweet to finish. He gave it 8.5/10. 4) Brownie Stack with Oreo crumbs by my young daughter. She gave this 7/10 as the Oreo crumbs made the Brownie Stack too sweet. Had she not added the Oreo crumbs as an extra topping, she probably would have given it an 8 or 9. She was also expecting the item to be a little bit warmer. We waited about 20 mins before all of our order arrived. Perhaps Capos can have a kids menu with smaller portion sizes. Alternatively, two children can share it. While this is not an Instagramable place, it does have a nice & cosy vibe to it. I also liked the fact that they have a focused menu with crepes, ice cream, pancakes milkshakes, and cookie dough. They don't have a large variety of dessert types, but their selective range is amazing tasting and it is super affordable. I've been to the major dessert brands in Ilford and they would have easily charged about £35 but I ended up paying about £25 for 4 items. All in all, I enjoyed my visit and the family thought it was worth it and that they would recommend this place to friends.

The desserts especially the waffles of this place is 4x better than urban chocolatier. Even the portion of the waffles look smaller than urban chocolatier but it is very filling, and delicious. My friend ordered a cake and it was freshly made not like any other dessert places. The place isn't that big but the rich taste. 💯💯💯

I love school cake and chocolate so got the chocolate school cake, safe to say that it’s my new favourite school cake! They were handing out lotus school cake testers and I’m not a fan of lotus but was actually very nice!

Popped in here with my younger brother for a milkshake and the lady there was so sweet! Their milkshakes taste delish as well :) We went there again today just now and there was a different lady there and she was just as hospitable and lovely! Happy customers :) Will be revisiting

Very Friendly Staff My Cousin accidentally dropped 2 milkshakes on they way out of the shop & the staff offered to make 2 more for free of charge. Very kind of them. Milkshakes were delicious. Will definitely be back soon !!

Went down around 8pm to check it out with my friend. Really nice decor, lovely and friendly staff and great menu options including a rare chocolate 'kebab'. I got the school cake with custard and a Flake milkshake, both tasted delicious and fresh and not too heavy as some dessert places can be. Well recommended!

Excellent milk cakes! Tried the pistachio milk cake and the lotus. I’m quite fussy with milk cake and have had a lot in the last few years, I can say these were really good. Perfect sweetness, perfect texture, wasn’t too dense and nicely presented!!!

We came here on a whim and I was glad i did. The doughnut stack was tasty, fresh and ice cream was very nice. The cookie dough was also fresh and tasted great. My daughter enjoyed her ice cream cone. For drinks we had cappuccino and pink tea and even they were lovely. I took one star off as the desserts did take quite a while to make but I will definitely be returning with my family.

Went for the first time on my husband’s birthday after a special meal. It was newly open in June run by family members. Lovely, friendly calm, atmosphere. Delicious deserts for a very good price. We now frequently order from them on Uber. I hope that their business is very successful. I wish them the best.

went here earlier this morning with the kids and my friend and her boys the was quite a few of us I can honestly say the desserts were absolutely amazing and well the service from the sister who served us was so lovely and on point she was alone but the her timings and effort were 10/10 I would definitely come back here again service food presentation everything was perfect

A tremendous desert parlour. Ended the night here on the way home from an evening out with the wife. Pleasant environment, friendly staff and most importanly amazing dessert. We tried the waffles and ice cream which was perfect with a cup of Earl grey tea. Thank you and will definitely come again. We visited as a family for the first time on a Thursday evening. We found the shop and seating very clean and nicely decorated. The Menu is pretty varied and the pricing is reasonable. The staff were friendly and attentive. They were knowledgable of their menu and ingredients. We each ordered different desserts and drinks. The Mojitos were wonderful, as were our desserts, which were well presented. We would not hesitate to recommend this delightful little gem.

I ordered a Capos Ferrero Waffle and thoroughly enjoyed it! The waffle itself was nice and spongey, and was not too sweet which is personally how I prefer my desserts (I also think this makes Capos a great alternative to other dessert shops for those who have a similar preference) - I can't think of anything to improve it: taste, portion, sweetness, price, and service is great! Will definitely be going again!

Ordered a few items. Wrote everywhere I'm allergic to a particular thing and they sent items with the item on (not included on the menu!! It's an extra deco topping!). Most is inedible, ice cream was good. Rest is just so heavy on extras you can't eat. Macaroons came, not good tasting, soggy bottoms (all are wet and half of each macaroon was soggy)!

Delicious desserts and amazing customer service! I ordered the chocolate orange cake which was scrumptious & not overly sweet the orange flavouring was just right! The Strawberry Mocktail was definitely a hit the right amount of flavours which I’ll definitely be ordering again! My son is a cookie dough lover and wont go anywhere else anymore as he says ‘this is the best cookie dough ever’

A good range of lovely desserts and fantastic service provided by what appears to be a family run business. Been there a few times now yet to be disappointed the chocolate orange cake has to be my favourite right now.

We got the red bull, original and passion fruit mojitos, and they were BANGING. Then we got some waffles which were nice and fresh and not sickening, had the shakes which were actually thick and had to try out the chocolate kebab, I’ve never heard of a chocolate kebab before but I love it! Servers were really nice and helpful too and were quick with it all. Definitely gonna be coming here regularly!

This desert spot has topped all desert places in the area. The deserts were delicious and not sickening at all and the best mojito drinks I’ve tried. The best thing that about this place is the customer service ! They did not have candles for a birthday however the staff went out and grabbed us candles and made the birthday wishes really special. Appreciate the service received at Capos today. Will definitely be going back there again
