Incognito in Kingston upon Thames

I visited Incognito on the 24th of January and had an absolutely delightful experience. The atmosphere was perfect—lounge-y and relaxed, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable vibe. It was quiet enough to enjoy conversation. The cocktails were fantastic, balanced and full of novelty, I had a Holy Grail, and a Peruvian Brew, which were both extremely drinkable. We also shared a pizza. All in all it's a lovely experience, a bit on the pricer side, but certainly a spot that impresses.

Not only was the vibe fantastic, but the service was stellar. I would choose this as a night out every chance I got. The drinks don't only look fantastic but taste amazing as well. I really wanted a fridge magnet to take home and I am hoping this is something they will offer in the future. I will definitely be returning!

5 ⭐️’s isn’t enough!! We had a fabulous evening here celebrating my Birthday. The cocktails were a spectacle on their own but then they were absolutely delicious as well. We had the Great Escape…which I could have had 2 more of and the Candyman, which my hubby won a prize with the claw machine. We shared a pizza and Thai Chili Crackers. The place was pretty quiet which we took full advantage of as it felt we had it all to ourselves. We can’t wait to return and try something new.

Let me start by saying I would recommend this place for the unique presentation of the cocktails and the atmosphere. The prices are towards the higher end (£17 per cocktail), but in my opinion, it is worth it. This is going to my favourites and recommendations ! Book upfront as there is limited space. On the negative side, the table next to the entrance is probably the worst place you can sit as it is getting all the breeze from the door and is kind of isolated from the rest of the bar.

Really theatrical setting and cocktails. Staff were friendly. There were only three tables occupied when we arrived but there was still a good atmosphere.

Incognito is a quirky cocktail bar with a unique theme set in the times of exploration and imagination. The stairs that lead to the bar upstairs make you feel like you're in a jungle whereas the main bar will transport you to an explorer's club like the one that Phileas Fogg would frequent in "Around the world in 80 days". Incognito's cocktails are something else. They are all served in different glasses and each cocktail comes with its own unique accessory - from a diver's helmet to a Ferris wheel! The price of each cocktail is slightly more than your average cocktail bar, but it's definitely worth it as it's not something you experience every day. We haven't tried the food yet, so I can't comment on it, but the cocktails were top notch!

First time visitor here for my wife's birthday a few weeks ago and it didn't disappoint. Loved the ambience, the cocktails and even the fun experience of the toilets. Will definitely be back!

Visited Incognito in Kingston for my birthday on 18th December and it didn’t disappoint. Great table with hat & popcorn waiting for us when we arrived. The cocktails came with a fun fanfare and were really tasty. Would recommend for a celebration definitely!

I took a friend to incognito to treat ourselves to drinks with a twist. We did not expect the theatrical atmosphere to be so immersive! From the themes of the cocktails to the lighting, the whole experience was well worth it. I am usually picky with the quality of novelty cocktails, but the alcohol used to make them here was impressive. I highly recommend taking a trip here.

The theatrics of each cocktail was spectacular. I basically had a fire and some marshmallows with the cocktails, and never had anything like that before. The place is lovely with an ambient environment.

Great bottomless brunch We booked as a family group for a bottomless brunch at Incognito, Kingston to celebrate my husband's retirement. We were greeted and shown to our table. The service was faultless. The cocktails were great and we were also really impressed with the food selection and quality of the food. Although the table was booked for 90 mins to co-incide with bottomless drinks, we were not made to feel we had to leave after this and we enjoyed another hour of chat and catch up. It was a great experience and thank you so much to Kingston Incognito for making us feel so welcome. Date of experience: December 2024

Extraordinary. Attention has been paid to every detail - as soon as you walk in, all through service and the entire experience (even the toilets!). Great fun, truly unique - absolutely a destination in its own right.

Very nice atmosphere and different vibe. Lovely cocktail bar and very fancy drinks. A lot of options available and their presentation of the drinks are what you are paying £20 a cocktail for. Most drinks had a lot of ice and 3 sips of the drink. Was too expensive in my opinion. Nevertheless we had a lovely time, service was good and friendly staff. Food quality was good, we had bowl of nachos, piazza and chicken wings. When you book a table you have 2h and in the 2h mark you must pay the bill. After that you can order more food and drinks if you want to. Bathrooms were really nice, felt like a jungle inside. Most importantly they had feminine hygiene products which was super useful.

Worst place ever. Terrible cocktails.

An absolutely magical place to have equally magical and delicious cocktails. Incognito features an expansive menu with numerous signature cocktails and gin and tonics. Half the fun is the theatrical presentations of the cocktails, with each one more unbelievable than the last. A truly wonderful experience, absolutely worth the price. As a scotch lover I would highly recommend the epiphany, served in a glass pipe.

This place is truly one of a kind. Indescribable, meaning one has to experience it. The ambience is so special there, one leaves in this surreal daze. The staff that I first experienced here a year ago are still present, which in itself says something truly special about the way Mr. Chadwick Smithfield runs things. I was brought here by a friend, and was blown away. So I brought my husband for our anniversary, even though it was a Monday and we made it an early one it was still lovely. If one would like to make an ambient evening out of it, then I suggest a Friday or Saturday and post 9.30 pm entry. They have introduced a food menu now, so one can come earlier I am sure, this is a recent thing, last year and early this year that was not the case, so we would have a meal prior. The signature cocktails are the only ones I have, the flair just never gets old and every time I notice there is one I have not tried yet!

Cocktails as beautiful as they are good, quality service, an atypical and magnificent setting! We had a great time. A truly immersive experience and by far the best bar I have been to! The cocktails are excellent and well crafted! I recommend 100%!

I'm lucky enough to be relatively local to this jewel of a place. Incognito is a one of a kind cocktail bar. The main diffrentuation from a regular bar is the theatrical presentation of the drinks but fortunately the flavours match the looks, all the cocktails I've tried have been just amazing. The atmosphere is also really great with music too match the setting. The last time I've visited they had included pizzas to the offering and to my absolute surprise they were really good and came in no time. Finally, staff have always been very professional and helpful. The drinks are not the cheapest but in my opinion totally worth the money as you are paying for the whole experience. Honestly there's nothing i dislike of this place and hope they stay in business for a long time.

A memorable experience. Even going through the door to get in is dramatic and exciting. The interior is beautiful, the service is friendly and efficient, and the cocktails are a theatrical experience. My only regret is that we didn't allow ourselves long enough there before our dinner booking.

Very tasty, original and beautiful cocktails! The venue is great and you feel like being somewhere else for 1 or 2 hours. Also, the waitresses being very friendly contribute to the lovely moment spent in this cool and independent cocktail bar! We'll come back.

Went with friends for the bottomless brunch and we had a great time. The staff were lovely and helpful, food and drinks were really good.

I brought my colleagues as it’s their first time. The team welcomed us warmly and made sure each and everyone had a great time. Each signature cocktail served made them smile from ear to ear as it was like stepping into a different world. The place itself was out of this world and enjoyable.

The place has the coolest cocktail presentations!

Great concept but service needs improvement. This is somewhat of a special occasion kind of place, and with table service you would expect the drinks to arrive at the same time or close enough so that you can 'cheers' and enjoy together. We ordered 2 drinks, but the wait time between the 2 drinks arriving to the table was very long (15 mins). Having water glasses on the table but not giving water is just careless. The Old Fashioned was too sweet and the Escargot was a crushed ice drink served without a straw. Both these things could've been fixed but the wait staff aren't very attentive, never checked/asked how anything was, clearly not caring about the guest experience or feedback. On the whole, someone needs to train the staff a little more. Service isn't just bringing stuff to and from a table, it's the guest interaction with the staff and the communication. When you're a pricy table service bar, and you pay for service it should be good.

Had a wonderful time out yesterday with two friends at the Bottomless Brunch and I highly recommend it. Food and drinks looked and tasted great and we had such a good laugh. Staff were friendly and attentive and it was a super afternoon out!

The cocktails are truly magical and everything about them was edible! The atmosphere was very inviting and quirky. We were greeted pretty quickly once we arrived and headed over to our table on the 2nd floor. I would recommend the 1st floor as your near the bar and the ambiance is a little nicer. 2nd floor is just as good if you want a little space and somewhere a bit quieter. Our waitress was really helpful with her suggestions. We only went for drinks and would recommend this experience.

If you fancy sipping cocktails in a room so grand it probably judges you silently, where the décor oozes charm and humour like it’s stuck in a never-ending game of charades, then welcome to your new happy place. Here, the drinks are so theatrical they might as well come with their own standing ovation, complete with props, silly hats, and staff so enthusiastic they’d explain the drink’s molecular structure if you asked (and probably even if you didn’t). You’ll grin, gurn, and take far too many photos – it’s practically compulsory. But don’t worry, if you’re over the whole ‘wearing-a-silly-hat-while-your-cocktail-arrives-in-a-miniature-treasure-chest’ phase, they’ve got you covered with top-notch drinks featuring mysterious flavours you can’t pronounce but will definitely Instagram. What really makes this place special, though, is that they actually seem to care about whether you have a good time. Shocking, right? Considering how many ‘meh’ meals you’ve probably had in bland restaurants, Incognito’s mission to make your evening unforgettable is like a revelation from the cocktail gods.

The bars ambience is great, really making you feel like you are stepping into another world. As for the cocktails, they more than lived up to what the videos showed. Tasted amazing and were a show all unto themselves. Had such a great time. Can't recommend Incognito highly enough.

Not only were the cocktails truly magical, they were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was very cosy and calming, we were greeted within seconds of arrival and the service throughout our time there was exceptional. The server gave us her recommendations and was happy to wait whilst we decided on drinks. I was unaware they did food which they should advertise more as prices were affordable for food and tastes great (I only had a side dish though). Drinks are expensive but you 110% get what you deserve - truly tasty and fun and playful! 🔥 💨 I can’t wait to return!!

Truly exceptional. Went on a first date here on Saturday and was amazed at all the quirky and exotic drinks which thank F made me look normal for once. Top hats off to all the team there that didn’t throw me out or highlight how I was punching up. Hearing the David Attenborough audio in the bathroom might be the highlight particularly when he was talking about large anaconda’s.

We had a fantastic experience at Incognito from the moment we walked up the stairs which was like an Amazon rainforest to being greeted at the top and led into a magical dimly lit room which was very atmospheric. The cocktails were spectacular and delicious, the service was excellent and our hostess described the cocktails and was very attentive. I would highly recommend we can’t wait to return.

As Kingston lacks proper cocktail bars, incognito blows the competition out of the water. Their 1920s themed upstairs is elegant and beautifully designed. The lower level bar area is equally nice just with a different vibe. The cocktails are pricey, £14-17 average, but with each one you get a show. I went to celebrate a birthday and I got the Holy Grail while they got the one which was a Ferris Wheel. Mine came in a lovely chalice while theirs came with a legitimate Ferris wheel that moved. Other cocktails had other fun gimmicks. We saw one group get a cocktail that was served inside a submarine helmet! If you pick the upstairs 1920s themed bar, you'll be in for some fun. Last visit I stayed on the lower level. It was a nice chill vibe, and the cocktails were simple (the ones you're used to getting-- without the fancy show). Less expensive than the upstairs but still a bit pricey. However...you can really feel the alcohol. They don't skimp! I'd recommend the downstairs for just friends meeting up and the upstairs for celebrations and events. Either way you'll be getting quality cocktails.

Dear incognito For my sister’s birthday treat I took her to your site in Kingston. We had originally booked for Richmond but was told of it’s unfortunate closure so our booking was moved to Kingston with ease. Once there we enjoyed fabulous cocktails ensuring to try ones we had never tried before and shots! We were not disappointed. In addition to the quirky drinks we divulged in a pizza which was as tasty! My sister had a great visit and we sat discussing who we should bring with us on our next incognito adventure. Brilliant place. Went for my son's 18th birthday and the staff were brilliant. We had an amazing time. The drinks are spectacular, it's so much fun and they taste good too. You've got to experience it yourself to truly appreciate. Also they were really kind when my daughter spilt a drink it was replaced with no fuss. Prices are very reasonable for what you get and the quality. Totally recommend and will be going back.

Didn't eat just had cocktails. Awesome presentation and a fabulous experience, very Charlie and the chocolate factory meets amazon rain forest. Drinks are around 18 each be warned but the presentation and fun factor is worth it.
