Ordered food 2 hours ago then they cancel the order after 2 hours - shambolic service

Terrible, ordered at 7pm at 8:30 I called for an update and it still didn’t leave the store! 30 minutes after still didn’t leave the store! Had to cancel the order through uber! Get more drivers if you can’t keep up with orders!

Took 2 hours to arrive and not even any prawn crackers… food was actually alright when it turned up. Understand being busy on a weekend but had to chase up twice as was so far over estimated delivery time.

We ordered last night through Deliveroo, and were given an estimated arrival time of around 50 minutes after we'd placed the order. An hour later I phoned in and spoke to a nice guy, who said that our food was in the kitchen and would get to us as soon as possible, though they were very busy. An hour after that we finally received our food, and although a very poor delivery service, the food was nice enough - though probably not worth the wait.

Very poor service I ordered food and at 1st they missed one item then they said they gonna put that in the next time next time also they repeated the same thing and when I called they didn't even respond worst experience. Low quality food also.

Absolutely disgusting all round 🤢 the curry literally ran off the plate like gravy. The chicken chow mein was dry as a bone and tasteles. Truly the worst takeaway I think I have ever had. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered salt and pepper chips with chicken ball tray meal, wasn't salt and pepper. Chips were soggy, not crispy, chicken balls were like flesh. Maybe it's because I'm hormonal and I wanted that but I'm actually so disappointed. Won't ever buy again.

I ordered from here from just eat. They said if you spend 30 pounds you get 40 percent off, so I was like okay what can go wrong. Where do I start I had to wait nearly 2 hrs for my food. The food was under cooked and cold and it was full of crease and very tasteless. I wonder why they said you can get 40 percent off if you pay over 30 pounds because the food is totally disgusting. You can't even give this food away for free. I have never tasted food like this in my life, the egg fried rice was brown and very hard the salt and pepper chips was raw and had no flavour or spice what so ever, also the beef curry was water it literally ran off the plate and the beef was hard as bullets. The prawn chow main was way undercooked, the place needs closing down. If you think of buying from here please avoid.

ZERO STARS -Appalling service over 2 hours for food to be delivered ..: multiple calls … lies when did answer the phone … finally got food … substandard … no flavour … chicken chow mein had 6 pieces of tiny chicken in it … if I could give minus zero stars would still be too many … will neither use again or recommend to anyone else … should be ashamed as a business to charge people of hard earned money when not a single point of service was achieved … unpleasant food … ridiculous time to wait for THAT to be delivered… disgusting customer service and to top it off a rude delivery driver !!! Certainly a lesson learned ! Avoid this place and save your money!

Ordered via Uber eats arrived late 1 HR 50 mins later .got to say food was really nice .. delivery drivers were short ..

Never get your prawn crackers and spring rolls

Honestly, i haven’t ate from here but my girlfriend is an extremely picky eater and she absolutely loves the food so gotta be a 5 star from me (she recommends the peanut satay chicken or whatever they’re called, apparently it’s super good)

Where do I even start? over 2 hours wait for food on a Wednesday night, absolutely diabolical service. Multiple phone calls made and although the gentleman I spoke to was polite and very apologetic it's just not good enough. Was offered discount on my next order, not sure I'd order again regardless of food quality. Food arrived warm and wasn't the worst I'd had but again the level of service really let them down.

Food arrived on time, was hot and we really enjoyed it. Wasn’t dry, chips and rice were really good. Not going to lie I ordered off Uber eats then saw the reviews on here and thought oh gosh, so was a little worried, but food was delicious 🙌🏽

Been coming here for 10 plus years but don't be returning they just gone down big hill, almost 2 hours later we get our food and it looks like it was sitting for ages as food was soggy and dry, family were very upset

Order was late. Food was not warm when it arrived. Claimed on Just eat that it had been delivered when it hadn't so that order didn't appear late. Staff at restaurant very rude on the phone about it.

Ordered food through foodie. We ordered chicken in plum sauce and boiled rice, chicken tasted nice but was cold, the rice was cold and the plum sauce came half full in a small what I call dip Container, enough to cover one piece of sliced chicken. Husband ordered beef chow mein, curry sauce and salt and pepper chips. Curry sauce doesn’t come with the meal so I had to call to get them to Deliver that, which they did but food was eaten by the time they came, chips were cold and the chow mein was very dry. Daughter wanted salt and pepper chips and spring rolls, again all her food was cold! I payed £35 for this and yet I have thrown most of it! I am very disappointed

Little late on delivery as was a huge order so expected. Also, two items missing but regardless, food was perfect. Will be ordering again 🙌🏼

Special curry was very watered down hardly any meat in it. Sweet and sour sauce very watered down. No prawn crackers either. I wouldn't recommend

First time ordering from imperial wok arrived in time stated by was missing prawn crackers and had to reheat all of the food in the microwave 😔

Vile food did the orders wrong and we phone them up and they refuse to send me another food out absolutely vile (next time read the notes) you woukd of got the order right then 😡😡

I never write reviews however I am incredibly disappointed, I wish I had looked at the reviews before I placed the order instead of after. I spent £21 on 4 items, placing the order through Uber eats. Not only did it take two hours to arrive, but I’m missing 1 of the 4 items I’d ordered. Furthermore, the food has no taste and was left to only eat the rice out of all my food. £20 wasted.

My app stated my food has been delivered at 22.16, I was worried it had gone somewhere else. I called the takeaway to be told the order would leave in 5 minutes.

had good meals from here but the last 2 orders not so much, 30 minutes past latest delivery time , order: special curry , chips , large fried rice, prawn crackers , not a great expirence this time round chips was very soggy but also very dry inside like they hadn't been cooked long enough or warm ups the chicken and beef in the curry was very tough and dry sauce was very salty along with being late just not great prawn crackers was the only thing I would compliment , I won't be ordering again

Just moved to the area and wanted to try this out as our first Chinese. Cancelled within 15 minutes so had to look somewhere else. Very unreliable - don’t do delivery service & advertise you can do it within the area if you just end up cancelling. Apparently refunds on the way… let’s hope so.

The worse food I've ever ordered. It took 2 and half hours to come and it's so bland and dry. Tried to contact the restaurant but no answer. Will not be ordering again I possible have food poisoning as I've been throwing up none stop since. Do not buy.

This has got to be the worst Chinese food i have ever had 3 in 1 chips rice and curry sauce but there was no curry sauce I called the restaurant and when the curry sauce came I had to throw all my food in the bin and not fit for my dog, this has put me of Chinese good for ever the rice was bone dry I’ll stick to mixed meat and chips from green lanes chippy bang on but there Uber prices have gone up

Our food took two hours to reach us. I did ring the supplier and I was variously told it was 5 miles away (at 90 minutes late) which incidentally is the distance to our house from the takeaway. On the second call at 2 hours late I the driver was arriving imminently. A further 10 minutes elapsed before he came. The food was hot and the chips quite undercooked. Leads me to believe that it was only being cooked at 90 minutes. Suffice it to say this is the last time we will order from Imperial Wok.

tough inedible beef, no ginger and awful taste. chips soggy and greasy, not hot, crispy chicken was stodgy and not crispy. Wonton soup was disgusting like dishwater. 30% discount deal....never again

Really lovely meal! Food arrived a little early and hot - it tasted amazing. Portions were good and it wasn't too salty. 100% would go back again!

Avoid..a poor service, had to wait about 2 hours for our food. JustEat App claimed food had been delivered but we had to wait a further 25mins for food! There are no excuses for this level of poor service. I will never order from this place nor JustEat App. You have been warned!

Disappointed that food arrived 1 hour after the original delivery time stated, not much in the way of updates from the restaurant. 1 update to say it would be later than planned, and it was still 30 minutes later than that. Some of the food had to be reheated. The food itself tasted good however it should have arrived hot. The banana fritters were soggy instead of crispy. 1 item on the order was incorrect and not what we had ordered, but my partner ate it anyway as we had waited so long. I used to order from this place regularly as the food is usually good even if they were always late on delivery. It has been over a year since then and unfortunately this has not changed. 20 minutes late I could cope with, but not 1 hour. Perhaps they need more drivers.
