Imperial Phoenix Chinese in Telford and Wrekin

Probably the worst Chinese we’ve had for a while. Delivery was late. Chips were cold. Chicken balls were rubbery. Duck and Chicken fried rice had very little BBQ sauce so was very dry. Avoid.

Ordered via foodhub. Food was 40 mins late, cold, really poor quality, the chicken and pork balls were very salty worst I've ever had. The chips tasted like they had been in the microwave and the rice looks like supermarket microwave rice. Awful

Awful restaurant & awful customer service. Ordered a takeaway over £30 and they never delivered. Stole my money. Called the restaurant over 4 times & got hung up on twice. Avoid at all costs!!

Delivery was late. Order was wrong. Food was cold and not good. Nothing would have been better than what we had. Nothing else to say

Took over 2 hours to arrive, food was edible but nothing special, and a number of items were missing. We raised this with the driver who said he didn't have them so called the Chinese, they said firstly they couldn't resolve the issue and then called back and said they would - they didn't. Emailed them a few days back and have not even had a reply, so have now had to raise a complaint with Food Hub as we paid for items that were never received.

Moving to the area a while ago I was unsure of where to go for a decent Chinese, there was a few hit and miss places that we tried, we stumbled across this one and is very good. Online order offered 15% off and keeps you updated of the progress. We ordered the set meal for 2 which was really good the phoenix chicken being my favourite. We have ordered from here several times now and always good food.

Absolutely disgusting food! If i could leave a zero i would. Chips were cold and that over done that they were hollow inside. They tasted like they were either reheated from the night before or sat resting for ages. The special curry was congealed and lumpy. It even held its shape when put on the plate. You couldn't even tell what meat you were eating. The Fried rice was burnt with black bits in it. Chicken balls were over done and tasteless. The crispy chicken in plum was so vinegary and sweet no one could stomach it. Even the seaweed left a fowl taste in your mouth. The only thing that was eaten and enjoyed was the salt and pepper squid. £36 order and it all but the squid went in the bin! Absolute waste!!!

First order as they offer a 15 percent discount if you order online. Everything was cooked on time, girls at the desk were great. The food itself was just average and not better than the places we usually go to. Chicken yuk sung was OK although bit too salty. Tried chicken duck bbq sauce. Again was OK although I prefer the sauce in Wishing star in Shifnal. We tried crispy chicken in bbq sauce. Issue here is that its not crispy if you cover it in sauce as it was here. I think we probably chose the wrong dishes and I might try it again at some point in the future. In summary won't be returning for a while but equally it's not a disaster, Everything was just average really.
