I was recommended to come here and try out the food by a friend, and I'm so glad that they did. The food is reasonably priced and so delicious that I even have loads left over for another meal. This is my new favourite carry-out for sure.

First time trying here and the food wasnt terrible but wasnt full of flavour at the same time. The member of staff on the front desk was very friendly and I am willing to give this place a go again in the future.

We came here for take away for the evening. Everything seemed fine until we started eating the food. Salt & pepper ribs - the meat is hard, it seems that it was not prepared properly, they probably added a whole handful of chili. Salt & pepper chicken - same, very spicy, BBQ ribs - I didn't find any BBQ, only the sauce is suitable for meatballs, king prawns sweet & sour - a mixture of some kind of dough was probably heated in the microwave, because the temperature of the sauce and the "prawns" are different, fries - yesterday's or at best leftovers from the morning. Only noodles and rice can be eaten for a total order of £50.

Eat here on a regular basis. Excellent service and delicious meals, beef chow mein is great.

Chinese food NOT cooked by Chinese people or with the guidance or critique of Chinese people. I ordered the “deep fried crispy beef with chilli sauce” and you can tell they’re using mostly the correct ingredients, but the execution is way off. Not crispy at all, soft seemingly shallow-fried pieces of beef, with a seasoning that just tastes off. Not stale or the wrong ingredients, just the wrong amounts of everything giving it an unbalanced and off putting taste. The hugely complex MSG-laden flavours are why we all love Chinese food, and Imperial Kitchen Chinese Food haven’t got that right this time. I admire this place for bringing Chinese food to the area in lieu of any significant Chinese population, but if you’ve ever had proper Chinese takeaway you’re going to be disappointed. Suppose I’ll have to get my takeaway from Chinese restaurants in the area since this is the second time I’ve been stung by an imposter Chinese recently. The overall brand and effort towards looking like a Chinese takeaway is well done, but the place really needs to seek the guidance of an experienced Chinese chef if they really want to make good Chinese food.

Standard Chinese food based English chippy food is nice. Staff are pleasant and efficient

Love the food from here (we’re vegan- and they’re good at letting us know what’s in the meals and can sometimes adjust meals accordingly). They’re our favourite local takeaway. Always helpful and friendly with a great selection of food that’s always reliable and delicious. We particularly enjoy the salt and pepper mushrooms and bean curd in sweet and sour.

Always getting overcharged when we go there, our tea wasn't as nice as usual either very dry and tasteless got a new menu worked it out but always get charged more.....not just once either many many times when you try to explain all she ever says is we haven't done the new menu with the new prices yet, sorry but no you pay the price it in the menu.

Friendly Front Desk & Very Helpful. Has A Nice Little Seating Area While You Wait For Your Food. You Can Watch The Small TV or Goldfish 🐠 Swimming In A Tank, I Watched The Fish.... Pointless Was On The Telly 🤣. Food Was Ready Quickly & It Was Lovely And Filling. Great Value For Your Money.

Both myself and my wife have just had really superb takeaway meals, They were ready on the time given to us and still piping hot by the time we got home. The order was taken by a really friendly and helpful lady. Dont hesitate in trying The Imperial Kitchen for your next Chinese takeaway meal, i'm certain you wont be disssapointed. :-)

Never been here before. Was passing the other evening so called in for a copy of the menu. Decided to give it a try this evening and it did NOT disappoint! Ordered and collected within 40 mins. Staff friendly and helpful and food was delicious! The combination box comes with sweet chilli and bbq sauce and prawn crackers. Next time I order I will ask for the salt and pepper seasoning to be added to my combination box. Would highly recommend. Will definitely use again.

Lovely Chinese food always served with a friendly smile. Shame they don't do deliveries but well worth driving to collect. Decent sized portions and reasonably priced. Try the Crispy Beef and Salt & Pepper ribs! Delicious!

Been visiting here on a regular basis for a few weeks now. The food is consistently good although the prices are the highest I've come across so far compared to other takeaways in the area. The salt and pepper ribs are a favourite of mine.
