I don't normally like Indian food, but the curry from here is amazing 5/5

Ordered a jalfrezi pretty bog standered and boring if Im honest nothing like Im used to around here. And onion bajis where dry and old. Arrived in about 10 mins aswell.

Vile, extortionate, inedible food, wouldn’t feed it my dog.

Have ordered from here a few times using deliveroo/just eat etc. The food is excellent, I have thoroughly enjoyed my meals from here every time - I tend to over order just to have it again the next day, and sometimes the day after that too! I live a few miles away, there's other places so much closer but this is the one for me, spot-on, excellent - please don't change a thing! Food arrives hot and you have lovely friendly drivers. I just wish you did beer with the takeaway, a nice cold bottle of lager would wash it down a treat. But that said, I can't wait until next Friday when it's curry night again :) :) :) Thank you for your amazing food, it's delicious!

Have eaten Indian food for years now and can confidently say last weeks takeaway was by a country mile, the Best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had.. looking forward to tonight’s order arriving! 👌

Quicky delivered, undercooked, unauthentic, tasteless takeaway. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Don't eat here.

Had curry from here for the past couple of Saturday as a lock down treat easy to order, delivery always on time curry one of the best I have had and consistent.

Order is over an hour late and no one will pick up the phone, having to order takeaway from another reliable Indian. Would not use again

Just eaten an order. It was really reeeeeally good food. I was a bit wary because of the review score however have since read them and someone rated them two because they don’t like Indian?!!!... Anywayyyy. They deserve a higher score. I had a king prawn (creamy almond thing) and probably the nicest Indian dish i’ve had. Awesome. Thanks.

Could not rate higher. Lovely, clean shop front and the food I ordered was delicious. A lovely touch having strawberry in the salad. Thank goodness its almost next door to me! :)

Absolutely the worst place !!!!! STAY AWAY !!!!!

Me and my friend called into the shalimar about a month ago as we fancied a curry and found ourselves driving past, we asked the chef what he might have and he made a few suggestions before he mentioned the boatman fish curry which intrigued us both so we went for that and a seafood biryani. It was absolutely epic! They earned our loyalty and now we order every few weeks!

Always order from these. They are not the closest to Eastwood but the food quality and taste is so much better. The naan bread is always moist and never stale. Food is always hot when it arrives. The fact you get rice or a naan free with a main is amazing as no other Indian takeaway I know offers this. The prices are reasonable and the delivery driver is friendly. Will keep ordering from here.

Do NOT order directly from their website despite how much they beg you to do so. When things go wrong you don't have a leg to stand on and will vanish with your money. If you want to order use Just-Eat or similar.
