Best Chinese in Nottingham. Great food and lovely staff!

Don’t order from here on Saturdays unless u like waiting 2 hrs plus and being lied to about time frames. Then when the food finally came they forgot something. I had to ask for a can of coke as compensation… food taste ok and is reasonably priced on the upside.

Pre ordered food at 5pm for 7.30pm and didn't arrive. When I rung them it wasn't even cooked and still had to wait. Very poor

Have used this restaurant a few times before as it’s local to us, but have faced repeated issues with late delivery - over an hour in some cases. The restaurant has never offered any form of compensation and just says “it’s on the way”. Will be looking elsewhere from now on as loyalty is not valued by this restaurant.

Made an order tonight - waited 2 hrs before calling the restaurant, only to be told the food was on its way. Another 20 mins later and no food! Rang again and was told we had cancelled our order?!?! When we confirmed we hadn’t cancelled the order, the woman on the phone hung up on us. Won’t be using this establishment again. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Great Chinese, always my go to Chinese, such quick service and food is always right and hot! Lovely family too, highly recommend

Best Chinese food around. Efficient, tasty and good portions! Very reasonable prices too..and you can watch them cook if you want..what's not to like!?

Been Ordering for years how ever the most recent time we had our food, me and my partner was left throwing up all night and stomach ache through out the next day. Avoid ordering seen as when I told fortune kitchen she said it wasn’t her food and ended the phone. Sad really because the food had always be okay before :(

Ordered a meal at 17.06 and at 20.00 still waiting for meal. Did ring them up at 19.25 and was told it would be 20 mins. Still no food.

Our local go-to takeaway, never had a bad meal. Great food and great service at a great price.

Had a delivery, lovely food which arrived on time

Ordered sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, cost £9 and came with prawn crackers and fortune cookie. Tastes great and was ready in 10 minutes. Winner winner Chinese dinner.

My previous review is below. I would disregard any review over the last 2 years as they have really improved. I have tried a few items on their merci now and they are a lot better. Has got better of late. For a while this place was not very good but they seem to have upped their game and the meals I have had from there over the last few months have been very good.

Order from here about once a month. Love the food, great service, no complaints. Never had any issues with bad stomach or late delivery like some of the one-star reviewers on here, so just thought I'd balance it out with my consistently excellent experiences here.

Food was quickly delivered. Food was hot and excellent. Very surprised as to how much there was per portion.

The food is OK but generally quite bland. The chicken with cashews was particularly disappointing as the sauce was translucent and gloomy and the chicken lacked any firmness as though boiled from frozen.

Never had even an average meal from here. Always excellent. Easily the best Chinese takeaway in the area.

Very good chinese but delivery driver was unprofessional

Chinese are always a bit more expensive and this one consequently is quieter than the fish and chips next door. The teenagers in reception get the order right every time and should remind you they dont take card payments. Noodles are thin (Singapore style I think rather than thick traditional chow mein).

We have had a few takeaways from here and can honestly say they have been the best I've had. Food is hot, tastes lovely and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend them.

not really enjoyed it the chicken balls where soggy beef in black bean sauce was all over the carrier bag did not enjoy it at all . thought I'd try something new sticking to my original Chinese.

We order every Saturday. Just had a chicken curry, sauce was like water terrible. Spare ribs in happy meal very poor quality. Sorry but will think twice before ordering again.

I ordered our Chinese from fortune kitchen at approximately 10 past 5pm. I have just looked at my phone and found an email from bigfoodie letting me know that they had cancelled my order. Not impressed!!

Very rude owner and short changed when delivered to Beeston Nottingham told company this and they said I am liar. So charged £9 for a £5.80 chow Mein disgrace. Do not order from them.

After ordering from here always been good but the last two orders have been wrong and not hot food, feeling very disappointed

Ordered food at 6pm; still have not received it by 8.20pm. When I called the restaurant I was (i) lied to and told it was on its away at 7pm, (ii) hung up on and (iii) by 8.15pm told that they didn't want my order and that I could get lost. Basically this restaurant has disgraceful customer service and is completely unrepentant as to its failings. It should not be allowed to trade and clearly maintains a turnover solely by a lack of any reasonable alternative - order at your peril.

Had one of the best Chinese takeaways ever . Definitely be ordering again .
