Ilze's Chocolat & Macaroon Cafe in Hillingdon

My wife and I were at ILZE’s café today for a special couple celebration. The lady owner was very kind to open up the shop a bit earlier than usual to accommodate our timings and we had a delicious savery breakfast accompanied by macaroons and chocolates. By the way the chocolates are to die for, elegantly shaped they give instant happiness as soon as you bite them. It was interesting to know about the ethos this shop follows about the quality of ingredients and the passion put into cakes and chocolate making, this inspires us into wanting to go there again. A lovely experience, to be tried by anyone passing by Eastcote.

The dark hot chocolate is great, smoothies really tasty too. You get a free chocolate with every drink. Only a few seats available

My friend took me to her local cafe on a recent visit - what a lovely place. You get a choice of handmade chocolates with every coffee and the choice is vast. I also had a toastie which was also excellent. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Took some chocolate home as a gift.

So excited Ilze has opened a cafe here and lovely to see a talented local artisan chef making delicious fresh treats on our highstreet rather than the franchise chain shops we see so often now. We also did the Macaroon workshop with Ilze which was also great fun. I was delighted to receive and am devouring my macaron birthday cake - wow! ;P

I love this place. nice people, amazing macaroons and chocolates and great hot chocolate. They are doing soup now which uses local vegetables from local allotments.It's small but a lovely place to be and it really looks smart. It's a great local business. I hope they expand to other areas.

I visited Ilzes and what a treat it was. It has a warm and friendly staff where nothing is too much to ask!I treated myself to a Hot Chocolate which was delicious. I had another treat of trying an odd chocolate or three. As for the macaroons the selection is awesome.Well and truly recommended. Go on .... treat yourself and indulge. Siobhan

This is a new addition to Eastcote and serves excellent, very reasonably priced drinks and handmade macaroons and chocolates which are a little pricey but delicious. I would love to linger here but unfortunately the seating area at the rear means perching on hard bar stools or sitting at 2 tables near the tiny shop front. In an area with a large elderly population and in a high street with larger ,more comfortable coffee shops I fear this may struggle.

Friendly cafe with great coffee, beautiful hand made macaroons (the best I have ever tasted) and exquisitely flavoured chocolates. There are also pastries and freshly made sandwiches. The service is good and you can buy chocolates and macaroons individually or boxed for gifts. What's not to like!
