Beautifully presented and very delicious food. Very generous portions and staff are so friendly, charming and accommodating. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.

After researching lots of restaurants and ringing a fair few that advertised vegan food but to be told when calling, that in fact they didn't we rang il mondo. From the start the experience was good. The gentleman confirmed that not only did they have vegan options but the chef would do his best to accommodate my daughter's tastes and do a vegan option. On arriving we were greeted and given a choice of tables , the staff were friendly and professional. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding. There were 4 of us in our party and everyone enjoyed their food. The staff were attentive to the right level. It was a great dining experience

Went for lunch on Mothers Day with five adults and three kids. Very satisfied with Il Mondo, excellent food, attentive service, very fair pricing, lovely atmosphere for a lunchtime. Had to chase the bill a bit as our parking session was ending, but not a problem. Would definitely recommend.

Would highly recommend this restaurant. Genny and the main lady (sorry forgot your name) who run this Italian are flawless. Food is tasty, mostly hot (heat not spice) and very reasonably priced. Very accommodating for wheelchair users to. Thank you guys.

What a lovely treasure this restaurant is. Wide range of food and well cooked. Lots of time between courses to have a catch up on this special day. The service was prompt and atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing. Would recommend for a special meal or just a lovely night out.

This super restaurant is minutes away from where I live and I have waited too long to try it. We were really impressed with every aspect of our evening from the greeting at the door, to the friendly, efficient service. Everything was fresh and flavoursome. We were spoilt for choice with an extensive menu and specials board. Every dish was beautifully presented and portions were generous, we had to take out left overs home. Very reasonably priced and considerably better value, quality and service compared to local Italian chain restaurants.

Lovely venue. Staff very friendly, service great and food delicious. I have coeliac disease and am anxious about eating out but they set my mind at ease straight away. They knew what was safe for me to eat and could adapt meals to be gluten free. They have a seperate gluten free fryer! I had mussels in spicy tomato sauce followed by chicken, prawns and crayfish in a creamy sauce with saute potatoes & veg 😋

Eaten here twice now and we really can't fault the service, food, drinks and hospitality. The staff are all very accommodating, and you feel welcome and cared for. The food is great and the value for money is unmatched in my opinion. We will be back again for sure!

This was our first time dining at Il Mondo and I think we've found our new favourite restaurant. Very busy but spacious so it doesn't feel crowded. We were made to feel very welcome. The service was great as was the food. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality.

Very good food and atmosphere - staff were very friendly and attentive even with the restaurant being busy when we went. Nice spacious seating arrangement and feels cozy and welcoming. All the food was perfect and definitely going to be eating here again as it's very good here.

We have been here a few times with family/friends and I can honestly say it’s the best Italian around. None of the ones down Leigh broadway compare and they are twice as much money. I came here on Christmas Day and hadn’t tried the roast before so didn’t know what to expect but it was amazing. The little touches like the box of panettone to take home and the lemoncello really made it extra special too. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and are always happy to make anything that isn’t on the menu for my fussy toddler. I have yet to come and see some of the entertainment you have on Saturday nights but we will definitely be back for that . Thank you so much :-)

We visited for Christmas Day lunch with our little boy and the grandparent’s. The staff are amazing and so friendly, the food really was superb. One of the nicest Christmas Day meals we have had! It’s our favourite restaurant in the area, we always have excellent meals here.

I visited here with a friend on Tuesday evening, We were greeted with a warm welcome. The menu had a varied variety of food. The meal was served hot, and well presented on the plate. 100% service.

If you are going to the Palace Theatre and fancy a pre performance Italian meal just take a five minute walk towards Hamlet Court Road and eat here. We usually go to the restaurant across the road from the theatre but this place beats it hands down. Far better menu, friendly staff and speaking on the basis of our first meal here, great food. We both had the veal rib from the Specials Board - it was brilliant. We were even asked when we wanted the chef to start cooking it! We will be using this place from now on. Only gave 4 stars as this is our first experience of Il Mondo but if this is anything to go by then 5 stars is next.

We had never been to II Mondo before but decided to try it based on the good reviews and what a good decision that was! We had 3 courses and everything we chose was absolutely delicious and you could tell it was all freshly cooked with loving care. The waiting staff were all so lovely, friendly and attentive and it seemed like nothing would be too much trouble for them. All in all a little gem of a restaurant and we shall definitely return. Thank you II Mondo for a great night.

Very nice restaurant. Great service and the food was excellent. Would actually give a 4.5. They had run out of panna cotta at 8pm on a Friday night. So unfortunately I can't give a 5.

Wow! What a find this place is - an authentic family run Italian which delivers on all counts. The food was incredible, all dishes absolutely delicious, proper portions and great value for money too. The service was similarly excellent; warm, genuine, friendly and great hosts. We had a great meal and will definitely be back, chain restaurant don't come close to the real deal, highly recommended!

Fabulous staff, authentic Italian food with fresh ingredients and a great depth of flavour at a reasonable price. The staff openly state "change any ingredient you like" and that's a great bonus if you have kids. We really cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Well what can I say , but a very welcoming vibe and professional yet relaxed feeling they provide. We were blown away by the food, a taste sensation and the way the staff interacted with us giving recommendations on choices with a knowledge of the menu. We didn’t get the name of the waiter but he was really taking an interest and sharing his knowledge with us. I and my wife will be definitely going back and would highly recommend anyone to try this wonderful establishment and enjoy the Italian cuisine which is presented in a high standard. The food presentation and quality was to a high standard and recommended.

First time at Il Mondo for my daughter in laws birthday after being recommended by a family member. I can honestly say this is the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to. The food was fantastic I had the Rack of lamb and it was cooked to perfection. There was eight in the party we all had starters main and afters. No one in the group had a bad word to say about food service or staff. The staff are a credit to the owners. It was a fantastic evening and we are planning another visit. The food was very reasonable priced and all food looked excellent. This is an ideal venue for large group before or after a show or even a evening meal for two. Tables was very well spaced out for privacy. All in all a little gem of a venue. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic restaurant, service and food. Would have given 5 stars but we went on a Saturday which was very busy and the acoustics aren't great so it sounded very noisy.

Not a great place to eat as several other much better Italian restaurants nearby. Pasta dishes tonight for my 2 courses were tasteless and without flavour, My husbands Salmon was overcooked, dry and overseasoned with soggy veg. Venue was noisy so not easy to talk without shouting Was surprised that waiters made no comment when clearing plates of uneaten food. Not really bothered I guess which is a shame 😕
