Absolutely superb food. All of our dishes were awesome. It's the new place for a treat.i don't mind paying for food of that calibre.

Very busy (and noisy) restaurant with fantastic service. Really enjoyed our meal - great pizzas, delicious meatballs and a really good lasagne - perfectly cooked Italian classics.

This place really is on its own when it comes to where it is. The parking is a little difficult but possible. If you come on a weekend book ahead as it gets very busy! (Top tip for you there) The inside is very nicely decorated with the Italian touch. Seating wise and capacity wise if it was bigger it would make a lot of money, but then I wasn't sure how busy it was during the week. The meals were lovely. I had calamari for starters which was lovely. I'm very particular about the consistency of my squid but this was lovely accompanied with lemon and tarter sauce. For mains I went for the Pollo Principessa which was chicken with mushroom (see menu) very creamy and beautifully cooked. For dessert I went for The Dome which was a bomb which melted to reveal ice cream underneath 😋 The waitresses were very pleasant and friendly which added to the ambience. Very nice meal and very much recommended. Cost wise for 4 of us it came to around £180 with tip. That's with drinks also coke, coffee,rum

Managed to get a last minute table as it’s always busy, even on a school night! Bottle of house white, excellent as always, the lobster linguine was truly outstanding. Staff great as always.

Have been here a few times and it's a really lovely place and staff are amazingly polite and attentive. But for the first time I was really disappointed with my meal. I ordered the parmesan and truffle ravioli with courgette ribbons. I think it was a £16 meal. When it came out it was like a starter. There were 4 circles of ravioli, 2 slices of courgette and a thick, grainy, beetroot sauce. Extremely overpriced for a small, bland meal. Really disappointing. Having said that, as all my other meals have been spot on, I would give it another go and hopefully I'll be impressed again.

Service was lovely, atmosphere was good and restaurant was clean. Food was ok but didnt wow us, prices were fair. The fish dishes ordered seemed from frozen so not the fresh fish experiences that was expected.

As a party of eight, we went for a celebratory meal at Michelangelos. As ever it was a great experience. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was superb and with the right amount of time between courses. I had the Tagliatelle Michelangelo , which was delicious. Others had salmon, pizza, chicken and lasagne. One of our friends commented on the reasonableness of the prices, quoting a couple of his favourite Italian restaurants where he felt the prices were much higher. Delicious sweets too.

My son had been here previously and raved about it and so we booked. I expected more. The food is good - a bit pricey for what it is. No atmosphere because there were only 3 other tables being used at lunch time. Service was a little abrupt and the disappointing aspect of the experience. I am coeliac and quite limited from the menu to what I could order to eat. Having discussed my options ordered the mussels to start - - they were excellent but no finger bowl to put the shells and wrong cutlery and i had to ask for a spoon. They had no gluten free bread which they failed to tell me before ordering. I orderd the fillet steak which was supposed to come with chips. My steak came out and i had to wait 3 minutes before they bought out a plate of potatoes - again not telling me that this was the case. The choice of desserts was just sorbet- wow. I went to pay and waited at the bar for 3 or 4 minutes cos they were all outside talking and some smoking. So if you are gluten free it is not for you.

On a sunny day we were visiting the aquatic shop in Brockmoor..that's when we noticed the restaurante..we sat outside on the patio and had the most delicious sirloin steak..the vegetables were cooked beautifully and I loved the rocket salad with parmesan shavings..the steak melted in the mouth and the brandy sauce was quite delicious..we will definitely be back..what a little gem of a place with lovely staff..and the restaurante is as clean as a whistle 🥰

Really busy upon arrival which i take as a good sign, service was regular and efficient considering it was literally full. My partner is very fussy so customised dish no problem. I went with the steak filletto, so good and grilled perfectly. Each bite was like losing my virginity all over again. I was semi the whole way through. Partner will be happy tonight if she finishes her pasta!!! No appearance from the donatello leonardo or raphael however it was still amazing. 10/10

Arrived early but was still able to be seated straight away. Lovely pace and attention to detail in the service which helped to make an excellent dining experience. Valentines menu was brilliant with the Lobster starter and beef medallion being stand out dishes.

This restaurant never fails to deliver superb food, excellent service and the best Italian atmosphere ever .. owned and staffed by Italians who understand what it takes to ensure you have a lovely meal.

I should start by saying that the food at Il Michelangelo was great when we visited last night. Unfortunately this didn't extend to the service and overall ambience of the restaurant. Granted, it was busy - but everything just felt rushed and impersonal. Disappointing.

Went here tonight as a table of 2 and it was as excellent as always. Food was delicious service was 10/10. We never get bored of this place.

Back once again to experience the great Italian food at Il Michelangelo, Brockmoor. As ever, the service was excellent as were our meals.

The place is very cramped and crowded. It feels as if every possible peice of floor is taken by tables and chairs. The staff are not very pleasant. I can see a few other comments about the staff and i have to agree, they are quite abrupt and dont smile at all. This is the second time we have been and it spoiled our opinion of the place. We had mushroom in a filo basket for our starter which amazing however, the mains were absolutely swimming in oil. I cant exaggerate enough how much oil was in the main meals. We had to drain it numerous times and even then, it was just saturated in it. We couldn't finish it as it was so heavy. We brought the remainder home and warmed it up to eat and unfortunately, had to drain even more oil. I would recommend requesting less oil when having pasta/noodles.

Lovely food; great evening and service until paying the bill. We’ve visited this restaurant several times before and would always recommend it. We booked to celebrate a 50th birthday with friends. We booked two weeks prior and we were told that they needed the table later in the evening. Couldn’t remember the exact time. The evening went very well, the food was lovely and the service was good, but a little slow, which isn’t unusual for a busy restaurant. We were offered puddings close to 8 O’Clock, so we understood that they were managing the situation for the return of the table and would advise when it was needed. Noting that as it was slow between courses, we assumed no rush. The puddings took some time to arrive and one of them was overlooked, which prolonged the process (arrived around 8:15). Staff kept asking if we wanted anything else and no mention of needing the table back. We were approached to pay the bill after we had finished puddings, which is when the evening turned unpleasant. The member off staff was angry and aggressive with us regarding the return of the table; after explaining the mitigating circumstances, and the fact that they should manage the situation by use of a friendly reminders, we diffused the situation by not engaging further, since the member off staff became visibly angry. He accused us of eating too slow, which isn’t true at all. The restaurant is popular and busy and the service speed reflected that. Basically, a great evening was ruined by an aggressive member of staff. If only they could have said “we needed the table back in 5 minutes” none of this unpleasantness needed to have happened and ruin a special event.

I visited with colleagues and we had a lovely experience. We were impressed with the decor and professional service. The food was lovely - it would’ve been nice to have more vegan options though but I understand that demand may be low in that area.

Perfect food matched by attentive service from a genuine team who are interested in their customers.

First visit, warm welcome from "meet and greet" staff. We were early but the table was ready. Excellent choice of food and drink. Order taken in a timely manner and food presented to the table very quickly. A leisurely meal with time to recover between courses. Bill was reflective of the quality of the food and service. I will be revisiting this little corner of Italy.

An excellent evening out celebrating my wife’s birthday. The food was terrific - each of us had different pasta dishes, all were good portions, well presented and flavoured. The staff were so friendly. When they found this was a birthday celebration, they added a candle to her dessert and sang “Happy Birthday “ to her as they brought it in. We are already planning our return.

Visited over the weekend with family to celebrate my Sisters Birthday. Family members had previously visited and had spoke highly which is why we decided on this restaurant, and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely, clean restaurant. Friendly, attentive service and amazing food. We all had different meals and we all enjoyed them thoroughly. I honestly can’t think of any negatives.
