Lovely to have il gusto open again. Great coffee and cakes, lovely breakfast menu and brilliant Sunday lunch. Staff are really lovely to deal with

I had a rump steak and wife had lasagne and the steak was huge and tasted lovely! Wife had double pink gin and I had a pint of peroni good value for money👍

The food here is always fresh, hot and delicious. The service staff are always friendly and polite. I've tried quite a few dishes now and they never fail to please.

Visited with 4 friends. We all choose different breakfasts and all were delicious. High quality and good value for money.

Disappointing to find out mid lunch that the seating area for dog owners also allows smoking. As non smokers, it completely ruined our lunch, which was lovely.

Absolutely lovely food , well presented and totally delicious, big portions. It’s spotless and very well presented and the staff are all friendly and really helpful. We eat here every time we visit Chapel St Leonard’s , Thankyou for making us welcome .

Another superb Sunday lunch. Loads of food, all very well cooked and of a high quality. Had the sharing roast the last few times, which is excellent value and there’s always enough for 3. The new gelato and crepe bar is open next door now, and that looks great.

We went for Saturday morning breakfast and although we were only out for a standard full English, we tried il Gusto’s chef’s number 1 and it was outstanding! Buttered bruschetta topped with two fried eggs and streaky bacon. There was also a delicious crème cheese topped with cherry tomatoes and avocado. The coffee was also as good as it gets. We were so impressed that we returned for Sunday roast the following day. We were equally impressed and being Skegness locals, haven’t eaten a better roast in the area. The meat was all super-tender and it was nice to have belly pork as an option, on top of your usual lamb and beef. The best bit was the fact that the whole meal was served in a delicious home-made Yorkshire pudding. We’ll now certainly be regulars and it’s completely worth the drive out to Chapel.

Great breakfast as always! We just have to keep going back ! Such a good addition to this Village ! Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs is good quality and lots of it . Oh and the Sunday roast is wonderful And of course the friendly staff make this place a must visit

I wouldn’t usually leave a review for a coffee and cake, but wow. The Battenberg home made cake is to die for. The coffee (with oat milk) superb! Service with a smile too. If only we could try all the cakes but we are only here for a day. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area

Parked up in a free space, told to move as was out of front. Apparently blocked view because was in a van. Sat down and given menus however it wasn’t apparent where breakfasts was on menu, when I asked, they rudely suggested it was on there, and gestured me back to me seat after I asked them to show me, when I found on my own accord what I was looking for, I realised that the prices were extremely high for a standard breakfast. I immediately left and decided to go elsewhere. Another thing is the atmosphere, on top of the extremely rude staff, obscenity was being played on the cafe radio which is very unfriendly for younger audience and for myself, who thought it was very unfitting for a restaurant. Will not return. I heavily advise you not to go here yourself. I wish there was a 0/5 option.

Well what a disappointment after our last visit a while ago. The Lasagna was tasteless and bland worse of all it wasn't at Lasagna temperature. In fact just warm. And there food is not cheap. Shall not bother going to eat there again. 2 out of 10.

Nice coffee, foods ok. The service can be very slow especially when busy. It is pricey. Some of th staff could do with some customer service attitude training.

This place is much needed in the Chapel area. It’s very modern and extremely clean. We’ve had breakfast here as well as coffee & cake and afternoon snacks. The food is great and nicely presented. The staff professional and friendly. Highly recommend

We go into Il Gusto regularly. It is a great place for a full English, lunch and a nice bottle of wine or just a mid morning coffee. Prices are resonable. Probably a bit more than other local cafes but it is more upmarket than many of the other cafes in the vicinity. Staff always really friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

My partner and I spent a few days in the area and discovered Il Gusto at the beginning of our stay. The food was that good that we visited more than once while we were there. I had a ham and cheese omelette and it was delicious and the ingredients were all good quality. Couldn't fault it. The staff even made me something off menu on another occasion and again it was so tasty. We will definitely be back again at some point.

Had a lovely lunch, sitting outside with the dog. Recommend the salmon dish which was delightful. Had only just had a coffee before. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Had coffee here a few times when visiting with friends who recommended it but never eaten here until recently. One day, I tried the pepper, mushroom and onion omelette, which was lovely and cooked well, it’s a good size portion too which is very filling and sets you up for the day. The next day, we ordered Dinos Special consisting of 2 slices of toasted crusty bread topped with fresh cooked ham, 2 fried eggs and melted cheese with a choice of salad or chips for an extra £1.90, this is also filling and tastes great. Not overly priced but the food tastes great so it’s worth paying for, if you want cheap and greasy, there’s plenty of places around Chapel.Chloe, who has served us a few times is very friendly, welcoming whilst remaining professional.

Such a nice place to eat or just have a good coffee. Although there is not an extensive menu there is enough to please most people. The outside is very welcoming with a patio surrounded by tall wooden planters which have been planted out nicely & bi folding doors which are lovely in the better weather.The inside decor is very attractive & comfortable. We have visited Gusto a few times now and have always found it ok,the service is fine and although we only have a coffee or a tea its been fine, This time we decided on splashing the boat out and having a cake with our afternoon trip, My Husband have a muffin and I asked for a slice of their cheesecake, The muffin looked and tasted lovely according to my husband, but my slither of cheesecake was a different matter, it certainly wasn't the slice that was shown on display, it wasn't even 10 centimetres across at the thickest part ,it wasn't worth getting the plate mucky for, it looked as if a normal portion had been cut in half.Wasnt impressed and we will not be returning.

The food is great, always fresh and very tasty. The decor is modern and up to date. Staff very friendly. However was a little disappointed with the time you have to wait. The restaurant wasn’t full at all so couldn’t understand why the wait was so long. Any longer and we would have left and asked for our money back. Amazing cakes.

Bought a fantastic gateau to have as dessert at a family meal at Let Piazza (run by the same family!). Highly recommended Summer Fruits and Elderflower gateau.

Weve called in fo coffees before but this morning we thought we would pop in for breakfast and we werent dissapointed at all and no overpricing either. It was such a pleasant change to have fresh tomato rather than tinned and what we call proper butchers sausage, and the bacon is very good quality too. ll Gusto is super its very clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing us too much trouble. It makes a refreshing change these days to be served with a smile and friendliness. We have and will continue to recommend ll Gusto to friends and family. Well done guys and gals keep up the great work you do. Its a brilliant place for everyone both young and old

As locals we have been to Il Gusto on a number of occasions in the last few months and have been delighted with the quality of the food and service. There are separate breakfast and brunch menus and everything we have tried has been delicious. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable given how tasty the food is. You can also pop in for a coffee or an Italian ice cream, which are to die for! The premises have large folding doors which gives the feeling of sitting outside when you are inside and out of the sun / wind; and there is also a patio whereby those of us with hounds can sit. Love the place!

Cycled into the centre, looking for 2 takeaway coffees to sit on the sea front at the end of the summer.

Quality food, quality staff, quality establishment. In a holiday resort thats not easy to find, but this place is a breath of fresh air. For locals, we finally have somewhere to go to indulge..ponder over the extensive list of different hot drinks, dribble over the counter of exquisite cakes. A real treat in many ways

After visiting Chapel every year it was very refreshing to find a lovely cafe/restaurant to visit this year. Wonderful and friendly staff. Lovely food, high quality. Fab Latte and yummy ice-creams. Will definitely be returning next year. A very welcome addition to chapel.

I couldn't in any way fault my visit to il gusto today. I visited this afternoon with my family and was served by two young girls who were both very pleasant and polite. We had coffees and cakes which were delicious and reasonably priced.The place was spotless with a nice relaxed atmosphere and staff were all well presented and friendly. We will definitely be returning and already have recommended to others.

This is the second time we have visited Il Gusto and have nothing but praise for it.The staff are friendly and helpful and the cakes fantastic .Its only recently opened in the village and it is a most welcome addition to the area.You can just have a drink or cakes or a snack meal.We are most impressed and will certainly recommend to family and friends

We visited Ill Gusto today about 3ish. The meal was ok but the music was loud and inappropriate for children. The words in the songs were using the F Word. We went to tell the staff and she said it was the radio. It wasn’t it was a tape or a cd. She didn’t apologise and wasn’t particularly interested. It was our first visit and our last. Would not return

Fabulous food, great prices and excellent staff. Very highly recommended. Just what the village needed. You must try it out.
