During our most recent visit we decided to stop at the food Hall, first time in years. We found the system to be very easy to follow, picking up your tray and following it round exploring the drinks and desert options before being served by staff at the hot counter. All staff were very helpful and served people very quickly so there not much of a wait to be served and pay. Good selection of condiments to choose from and large amount of cutlery available which is good to see. What caught my eye was the additional services provided for parents and children, there was a nursing area providing privacy for those who wished to use it. A bottle warmer and a microwave free to use to prepare babies bottles and food, this was lovely to see as it is inclusive for all. Will be visiting again.

It's alright. Had a few very cheap hot dogs. Must try the famous meatballs next time

for the price of £7 the salmon is not great. sauce is watery. drink is not good too. soup is a bit bland.

We recently took a trip for breakfast and also pick up a few bits. very disappointed with the breakfast they had no bacon so we ended up with 4 sausages which was ridiculous totally spoilt the meal and as for charging 75p for a slice of toast which we couldn't even bite into it was that hard and cold , IKEA you have gone right downhill especially in the restaurant, will not be returning 👎😡

You get what you pay for so no room for complaints. Not the most sexy hot dog ever but its only 60p.

I went here every time I go there is a rude foreign women who works in the food hall she is extremely obnoxious and she screams to you across the hall I’ve never met anybody so rude every time I come she screams to customers across the hall and she has black hair and her eyebrows are tattooed today she screamed at me.

The food is ok for a quick bite to eat the price is right but you don't get much choice over the week you can guarantee they always have meat balls on the menu

Too longer queue to pay for food. The food is cold by the time you have paid. They need a McDonald's type of ordering. Pay for it first. They really need to sort this out..

Good food and coffee, slow service.

Meatballs were amazing along with daim cake to finish queues can be long but worth the wait!

Usually have a really good experience here but my partner got violently ill off the smoked salmon he started eating it and said it tasted funny we smelt the other piece and it had an ammonia smell so was definitely off he had food poisoning for the next two days we were given a refund for the salmon but it wasn’t enough considering how ill he got after…

Dirty tables and very dirty high chairs, overall cleanliness of the customer seating area wasn't the best

OK food if you are hungry at reasonable price

Cutlery was dirty, trays were dirty, tables were dirty, cups were all stained. Meatballs tasted good so +1* for that but everything else was not what I expected from IKEA. Do yourself a favour and eat from the other places nearby.

We were really disappointed with the food, the salmon was really dry, and the food was thrown on the plate and looked a mess. The staff were also short and rude. This is a big difference from previous visits.

Very good lunch, and very good value. Would recommend.

I’m quite a fussy eater. I thought the meatballs, mash and peas were lovely and the staff are great. The only thing I really hate about the cafe is having to pay for a drink then work out how to collect it afterwards! The desserts are OK. I have never tried the fish and chips but it looked fine.

Very poor food establishment. This is tacked onto a furniture store to play on the idea of their sweedish origin. It's a fantastic marketing idea but the food quality really is very bad. The service is ok and comparable to the service you could expect from a fast food outlet. The atmosphere greatly depends on when you're there if you pick a busy time, like a rainy weekend, then expect hustle and bustle similar to a busy train station but it can equally feel very deserted at off-peak times like early on a weekday.

Decided to try the famous meatballs as I'd heard so much about them. The queue was like being in a school hall, a bit off putting, but we stuck it out. There was a few dessert choices at the start. I picked from the top shelf right at the back as the other shelves were perfect sneezing and coughing height. Some doors or covers might be a good idea! The hot food is served by dinner ladies, they are quick and efficient. The price for two meatballs, a drink each and a pudding was around £20. There was a lot of food, but expensive for what it is. The gravy and berry sauce was nice. I'm glad I've tried it but I won't go back. I'm sure they are the same meatballs that they sell in Iceland!! We had kids running around playing tag while eating in the dinner hall (think service station/school hall) which was really not nice. This wasn't Ikea's fault obviously but was still very annoying none the less. The dinner hall was clean and there were quite a few spare tables as it seems as one table sit another leave which is good.

No hot food at all on the day l went.

If you want cheap eatery this is the place to go😊😁 After ur fab shopping at Ikea shop, pop down in the food hall and u can have satisfying meal very cheap!!👍👌😋

Big queue, ran out of meatballs, so we had a little wait, but you can't dispute the value and we got a seat no problem, so no complaints here 😊

Came here this morning for breakfast the english breakfast was disgusting and slopped on a plate ,the bacon bap was served to me rock hard from the hotplate and the bap was also hard .By time we got in the que to pay and sat down all food was cold.I know its cheap but a waste of money .staff were rude and unhelpful

Not very good for vegan. Personally abit to croweded and not cleaned regularly as they is a lot of people passing through. We visited in the morning between 11-12am and was overly busy was really comfortable sitting down as tables around where dirty and floor had spillage in few places. Overall English breakfast my partner had said it was lovely and warm.

Eaten here yesterday me and my wife had the fish and chips the fish was absouloutly disgusting the chips were soggy and cold and we've now both got food poisoning. Would not be eating here again.

We visited the restaurant yesterday I was disappointed to say the least our food and coffee was cold I complained and was given another meal which was also cold I thought it was a waist of money and will never eat there again

Went to IKEA restaurant today for our first time as a family as was doing shopping there, cutlery was dirty trays was dirty tables were dirty and personaly feel for what you pay portions we're small when paying £30 plus for a meal.

Been to ikea this evening .never have complained about the food .but tonight was a need to ....had chicken it was supposed to of been grilled ..I could not even cut it .it was awful it wasn't till I turned it over that it was black and un curable......

Hi We went to IKEA Wednesbury today. We had a great shopping experience but the icing on the cake was the brilliant customer service we received in the restaurant. I asked one of the table cleaners if you had any plant based milk she was so helpful, went to the kitchen and came back with soya milk. She brought it to the table she was so polite and friendly. She asked if we intended to have a second coffee if so she would put some milk in cup to save us from having to ask again. Such a happy and pleasant lady, she made our day. Her name was Maria. Details off till roll. Store 142 POS 102 time 12.10. We came back to the restaurant later for lunch and she was just as polite and friendly asked if would require soya milk again, we said no we would have water. If you have an employee of the month I would recommend Maria.

Cutlery very dirty, including glasses . No hot drinks available. Staff are not helpful at all.

Would give less stars! Ridiculous having to book for a decade within a shop! Who do they think they are, the Ivy? We were regulars but we won't be back I'm afraid.

Easy to pick and order. Nice food

Good decent food fish and chips are cheerful and at a nice price they do fill you up. The coffe is good. Most off all plenty of seating space. The car park is huge nice shop and really good menu for adults and kids. Sone dsys we have drive 25 miles just for their fish and chips and garlic bread. On weekends is does get really buy go early on in the day.

Breakfast for just £0.99 at the moment.. (for a limited period) very cheap and free tea / coffee if you have a "IKEA family card"..!

Cake and hot drink for £1.50 I think, before 5pm. Had jerk chicken with rice. Chicken was hence. Nice.

Interesting place to visit, lots to see and a brilliant reasonably priced restaurant.
