The food was delicious, and the chicken was perfectly cooked! broke apart in your mouth 👌🏻 we tried the masala chips and some standard chips with our curry the masala chips were really nice and flavourful however the standard chips and I suppose the masala chips just went abit soggy and normally the chips are nicely done where they are fluffy inside with a nice crunch on the outside, these things happen from time to time so don't worry team Ikbals we will definitely still be ordering again.

absolutely yummy food, hubby loved his CTM, and it's been the best sea bass ever I've tasted in an indian dish, so delicious.. thankyou for the onion bhaji too. so yummy. defo be ordering again.

First time ordering from here and the food was fantastic. I had the Naga which had a good enough amount of spice but not too much! We also ordered the South Indian Garlic/Chilli Chicken which was great and my daughter loved her Massala. The only issue I had was that the peshwari naan was delivered in a plastic bag instead of a foil bag which was a little disappointing, although the naan still did taste lovely. Will definitely order from here again.

Food was good. Wouldn’t say it was the best Indian (I’ve got high standards) I’ve had but it was definitely not the worst. The Desi grill is really good value and the meats were quite good other than the sheek kebab which was a little weird.

food from here is always great, normally opt for the south Indian garlic chilli chicken, however fancied a change today .. tried one of the kebab naans, oh my goodness you won't be disappointed, absolutely gorgeous 🥰

My son and I are sampling take away foods in our local town to see which we prefer. It’s a Saturday night after work thing. We were greeted in Ikbal by Ash who was a polite & friendly host asking if we had ordered and then if we had eaten there before. He allowed us time to look through the menu and order then offered us both a complimentary drink while we waited. He & my son talked and joked about life and the food was ready within 15 minutes. We had a chicken tikka masala and a lamb tikka rogan Josh with rice, naan and popadoms. Ash gave us a 10% discount for collecting in person and hoped we enjoyed our food. Overall the service was excellent, our food was good with plenty of meat. The dishes were both a little sweeter than expected but delicious. It was good value and we can recommend

Got my food within twenty minutes from ordering, everything was absolutely lovely we enjoyed the complimentary onion bhajis, thank you for that. Never had a Keema naan before but I loved. Not only is your food top notch, but your staff is always so friendly.

was told driver broke down food arrived hour late . Rather than send fresh cooked food they delivered cold hour old food. Worst £50 ever spent

The restaurant called to say they’d be about 40-45 mins late and I was worried the food would be cold, however the food still came piping hot and the delivery guy was so apologetic. Food was absolutely amazing, so flavourful and not at all greasy! So the long wait was worth it, I will be ordering again

Order was missing naan but I called up and they sent one over quite quickly. I do have to say the food was not great at all. The roti were cold and hard and tough, they shouldn’t be. The veg curry with the bryiani was bland, there was no taste whatsoever. The Bryani itself was bland and just tasted like turmeric, which they have overused in order to make it look yellow. It smells and tastes only like tumeric. Overall very bad food and I definitely won’t be ordering again. One of the worst inifan

The meat didn’t taste right in the meal. I couldn’t eat the chicken. The rogan josh and jalfrezi just tasted like the same meal. I’m very surprised as the food is usually great from there. I’m not sure if they’ve changed their chef. It wasn’t a nice meal. Always had good food from there before. It was a shame this wasn’t very nice this time.

The food came early, it was hot as eating in the restaurant. The set for two was so tasty and the portions was very generous. We got a Peshwari Naan and it was filled with a lot of coconut, very delicious.

The food was cold the the paper lids had fell in the food popadoms were like plastic and the mint sauce was split like scrabbled eggs ! Phoned the restaurant and the blamed just eat for their timings and we were . 3 mikes extra away from the even though we paid for delivery !! Won’t be using these again the worst food snd service ever! Save yourself you hard earned money guys !

Waited half an hour for food to be delivered, even though the curry house is 7min drive away. Curries were ok, but the paneer was dry and the naan bread dry and flat. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Disappointed for the 1st time with the quality from ikbals , none of the disor sundries were up to there normal standards , most went in the bin 😕

Didn't think it was possible for Ikbals to improve on quality, but yesterday, the chip were the best they gave ever been the egg fried was egger and the bhuna was another level of flavours . Still my favourite Indian of all time.

Shame really as taste of the food was not bad however a late delivery meant the food was luke warm at best, aloo gobi was cold. Hate cold food so ruined it for me. Had a message to say food had 30+ mins ago so assuming there were multiple drop offs.

First of all the food is great, but as a person who works in front of house I cant help but notice how unprofessional the staff are, when serving food they used their bare hands to carry my plate, they touched their face/hair before handing me my food. Not only is this cross contamination it is also bad hygiene, there was flies everywhere. Needs serious improvement

Rice wasn't that special for special fried rice but was nice. My south Indian curry was a bit salty personally for me. Mosalla was lovely, portions good. Would order again
