Ice and Spice in Kirklees

We go to Ice and Spice all the time. The food is always amazing and I think we have tried every menu item and never been disappointed! Really lucky to have this in the village!

1000% love the food, the staff are friendly and it is all highly recommended!!! Beautiful food as always brothers!!

Take my kids here great place they love the milkshakes and the spicy chicken burgers the chips always taste nice and I highly recommend the bbq chicken pizza

Very good food. Owner is a top lad. Donner meat and cheesy chips is the best you can get local and they have a nice selection of deserts.

The service in this establishment is world class. Never before have been so astonished at someone's milkshake making skills before I stumbled into Ice and Spice. The worker (Lilly) was incredible at providing a comfortable and classy atmosphere, the service was quick and enjoyable. 10/10 will go again for Lillys milkshake and desert making abilities🌟

Excellent value, with the meal deal and cheeky Tuesday promotion on top. Even got some ice cream as an added freebie. Pizzas were great! No burger received on the meal deal, but did receive extra chips, so must have been a mix up. Will definitely be ordering again.

Ordered a banana sundae and a fudge cake with custard. Was given ice cream instead of custard. Vanilla ice cream, barely any banana pieces and no toffee or honeycomb pieces as advertised.

Pizza is 7/10 it’s ok . The base needs working on and to be crispy

waffles was cold when arrived and had to re-heat apart from that it was ok

Chicken steak and rice is really good and tasty. Strawberry sensation waffle still the best. I enjoyed it 10/10!

When the chips were emptied they were soggy there was so much condensation inside the box it was almost inedible, the chips came out of the box in a square and couldn’t break apart as well .

I loved the food they have so many options you can choose from. Best food l ever tasted it was great 😌. We had the sweetie milkshakes, cheese burger and pizzas. 10/10 delicious! See you again soon. Very clean and comfortable inside and very friendly staff who were great with the kids and gave us some sorbet to try on the house! Thank you very much

Everything I've had so far has been top quality. we love the Donner with Nan. The ice cream is gorgeous. Delivery fella is always very pleasant and very well manners 👍 The stamp card gives you something back too. Great idea 💡 👍

Great food that everyone enjoyed. I had a smash burger, others had pepperoni pizza, doner stir fry and the mixed doner bake. All delicious, piping hot and left us all stuffed.

We came across this place by accident as our usual place was closed and it’s safe to say it’s the best takeaway around! We decided to eat in, the staff were all really friendly and accommodating. The pizza and the donner stir fry was amazing. The milkshake was really tasty. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be trying the desserts next time!

The food is absolutely stunning and is on point. Strawberry sensational waffle and the Choose my topping waffle (topping is marshmallow and fresh strawberry and sauces are chocolate and strawberry sauce) is so good. 10/10 place!

Absolutely love this gem of a place! Had the buffalo chicken strips last week. Amazing full of flavour! The doner stir fry is fab too! And then the best strawberry milkshakes.. definitely worth all the calories on a Sunday afternoon.. thank you ice & spice Edit.. date now 02/06/24 Wow this place from when it first opened has really gone downhill! Got the food wrong twice burnt also.. one burger came with out the burger I mean…. Really.. shocking.

Food was stone cold when it got here, and the box meal was tiny for the price

The crepe I received was burnt and inedible, i have also previously had cookie dough from here which is very thin and also overdone. The only good things I would say are the shakes.

Cookie dough was absolutely tiny, have had them previously and they have been much larger. Not worth the money at all. Over priced for tiny portions, the cookie dough is barely half a cm thick 🙄 Also, when ordering it allowed me to add gelato to the waffles but not the cookie dough, then searched "gelato" in the search bar to find *no results*, how can you sell something...but also not sell it🤦‍♀️

Disappointed with the waffle, ordered a banana, strawberry and Nutella waffle. The banana was missing and it was cheap chocolate sauce, not Nutella

Nearly £7 for watery milkshakes, a banana and strawberry waffle which was missing the banana and hardly had any chocolate sauce on it and 2 tiny scoops of ice cream for 4 quid. It was our first time trying after moving to the area. We won't be back.

Ordered at around 5.40 and it came at half 7. Rang the shop and they told me it had been sat there waiting for the delivery driver. Was told as soon as he's back he will bring it. It came half an hour later, cold and missing an item. Shame, usually a great place aswel

First time food great definitely coming back

I've been ordering over the past months, and I've seen the quality go way down the last couple of orders. My recent was the worst. Donner bake more oily, got even more spicy somehow, and had worse quality. Ordered two, and one was barely broiled. Waffle underdone and chewy, oreos soft and ice cream not great. Item was missing, and the driver obviously didn't check the delivery notes, which was less effort on them if they followed it. The delivery time was spot on, but it didn't mean a thing since things were obviously undercooked. The tastiest food was grapes from the fridge afterwards. It's really disappointing, but I'm inspired to just make it myself in the future.

I’ve enjoyed the burgers from here a few times before, but tonight the burger is so salty it was inedible! Such a shame as like I said have been great before. The chips were slightly warm. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I’m really disappointed tonight.

Enjoyed the food, had a couple times now, did pay extra for red onion on pizza however was given white onion which is a little disappointing.

Usually very good from here, but disappointed last night. 1 pizza with burnt patches,and fries were very chewy and tough like they had been reheated again and again. drivers friendly enough but sorry food wasn't so good last night

missed the ketchup from the order and also put gerkins and onions on the burger when left a note asking for them not to put them on. food was still nice tho .

Missing item upon delivery after waiting 1hr- 2 hours late total after receiving the missing item.

First time ordering and was looking forward to it after seeing all the great reviews! The food arrived earlier than stated, the delivery driver was lovely and all notes were taken in to consideration. The burger was good quality, cooked nicely and tasted great as did the doner meat. Unfortunately the pizza, although did taste lovely, seemed a bit lacking in cheese as we had also paid for extra and both this and the cheesy chips were a bit cold and chewy however we would give them another try!

Me and my husband are obsessed with the stir fry Donna… the salad and sauce just bring me meal together. Enjoy it everytime.

First time ordering and meal was perfect! I always opt to collect my takeaways so can't comment on delivery but food was nice and hot and ready at the collection time. Ordered the Tikka Donner and Chicken with Chips which was huge (luckily 2 of us were sharing this). The Piri Piri Chicken Pizza was delicious too with a good amount of spice. Very impressed and will order again, thank you :)

We tried something different this time, the mixed baked tray, bbq strips with chips and bbq strips with rice. It’s so good to have the option for something completely different to what others offer. Absolutely delicious!

Excellent! The BBQ chicken strips were very tasty and came with rice, sauce, peppers and onions. The classic burger was very good, I wasn’t expecting the house sauce to have that much of a kick but it worked well. Enjoyed by all!

Pizza had flavour but could of been crisper but the mixed donner tray hardly had any meat wasn’t worth £10

Unfortunately very disappointed. Firstly we ordered 4 meals, 2 were wrong. Cant complain that they sent out the correctorder after calling back however the pizza was lacking any topping and the rest was just not very nice.

First time trying - really enjoyed it. Chips were great and plenty of them. It was hard to tell which burger was which as there was no indication on the packaging and could tell difference between Americano burger and classic. Wasn't a big fan of the spicy sauce I wasn't expecting it but it wasn't bad! I'm just a weakling when it comes to spice haha. Deffo order again.
