Was really disappointed to see the great western branch close down, quality of coffee and food is always on the high side. Prices of drinks have increased over the years bur are still affordable. toffe nut latte is a must try! Amazing breakfast options and also suitable for vegans. Bathroom space is great and seating is massive for a woodlands road cafe. Only downside are the prices where are slightly higher than other cafes nearby. Coffee beans are also sourced from authentic sources and are fair trade. The owner is a great personality- will always return highly recommended this spot

Great place to go and meet friends or grab a coffee. The prices are very reasonable and the food tastes really nice. I love their soups and bagels a lot. Be aware though that contrary to what the name might suggest, this is not a quiet study or internet cafe. There are some computers that can be used by customers. Charging ports are definitely not given at most of the tables and it can get quite loud. Which is obviously perfectly fine if you want to hang out but it might not be the perfect place for a study session. Furthermore, if you do spend prolonged amounts of time in there, you will smell of food quite a lot. I’m guessing that this is due to the kitchen being so open. It’s obviously not really a bad thing either. Just be advised that after sitting in there for a while you will come out smelling of fried food.

Came here on a weekend. Fully halal place with great breakfast options. No beef bacon or meat sausages but you can have turkey bacon and vegetarian sausages instead. Very nice atmosphere and definitely will be back to try their jacket potatoes. Edit: Came again at 230pm to try their lunch menu. Unfortunately the server couldn't place an order for pizza because she was going on a break and there was no one else to man the kitchen. We were quite disappointed so we left. Careful guys if youre coming for a meal - may not be available as the kitchen is not always manned.

Relaxed, fun, youthful with delicious food & the very best assortment of hot chocolates

Quick emergency visit....my phone had died, meaning i couldn't get into my car, extend my parking etc....the very friendly staff not only offered to give me a quick charge, they also served up an excellent espresso, one of the best I can recall in Glasgow! Will definitely be back for some food next time I'm passing.

Great coffee and service, plus their wifi is great for working on your laptop. It can get a bit noisy at times but otherwise it’s a great place to study.

A very nice and spacious café. They have delicious shortbreads and the coffee isn't bad either. It's opposite the Saint Andrews campus of the University of Glasgow, so it's the perfect place to wait for your next lecture. There are also sandwiches.

Stopped in for a coffee and it was fab. Probably one of the nicest flat white I've had in ages.

It's a standard west end cafe. The food is OK, but definitely filling if you're looking for an easy meal to grab, especially breakfast. Prices are inflated as standard. Coffees are great. Staff leave you alone at your table.

Very expensive for some sandwiches and baguettes, they tasted OK tho. However there is almost no space because the students hog all the spaces all day so good luck finding a place to sit and eat. Maybe make a max amount of time people can sit?

Really nice place to sit and do work with a coffee. Welcoming to everyone :) Wish they were open until 10ish but I know it's hard for places to afford to do this, ggow needs more late night cafes! <3

Dear ICafe, On the website they clearly stated that they provide halal food at least for the meats It would be nice if the cookies/pastries/cake are halal too, bcs I would love to taste the dessert too, when I ask the cashier girl whether the caramel shortcake halal or not she can only answer she have no idea, and they give us no smile when they served the beverages we ordered. Long exhausting day for the girls isn't it? Hope you guys always healthy. Btw the beverages are so good. Love, Customer

Popped in before an exam to grab a tea and chill. Very nice staff, computers to use at a very cheap price. Lots of customers seemed to know each other and it was a friendly atmosphere. Good space for communal work/study. Didn’t try the food but it looked good. Great range of drinks available Bathrooms are very clean, with a hand dryer to help dry off from the Scottish rain.

Possibly the best spot for the cliché “working from a café” in the west end. As a regular here, I have tried almost the entire menu and not had a drink I wasn’t fully satisfied with. With great staff members, this is spot is a must for any students in the west end, or anyone visiting.

seems like a chilled place but almost 10 quid for a brownie that wasn’t worth anymore than a quid if you’re lucky and bottle of irn bru at the price of 3 quid? are you mental? the guy serving me just seemed like he couldn’t be arsed to be honest and was told that I would have to wait 30+ minutes if I wanted a meal? really not worth the time and money, better going to the place across the road, lovely upbeat staff and amazing coffee also not to mention that their tables aren’t littered with empty cups and wrappers, would love a reply from the owner to hear the excuse for this😬

Review update 10/08/2023!!! I’m updating this review after the response of the owner. The owner is lying. I sat there and watched the whole conversation. The customer was not rude or abusive. If you checked the CCTV can you please tell everyone what was the old man wearing????? I have a video of the situation and I want to come see you in person and show you. You are worse than the staff you hire 😅 my god what a joke of a person. Let me know when you are in the cafe and I’ll gladly come down and show you you disgusting liar The cafe is in a good location. Unfortunately for the staff, I have been to many cafes. And the girls that work in this cafe are very very rude and disgusting. I sat down and watched how they respond to customers and talk about customers after they leave. And they also make faces. Talking on their phone while making a coffee. The girl with bandana and a nose ring. And the other girl who is tall and blue eyes. Really horrible. If they don’t want to work in a service environment then DONT WORK in a customer service job! Zero for the service!!! And I hope the management team seee this review and act on it urgently.

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very modern decor and very relaxing place to visit with family and friends . Staff all lovely and very polite and friendly Sarah is very nice and friendley and shines out from the rest beautiful nature. Would recommend for visit if living in the local area. 🌼🙂😊🌼

I tried that place a few days ago and it was quite a disappointing experience. - The reception was cold and inhospitable on my opinion; when we paid our order, the man was pretty expeditious and was not trying to be friendly at all. - The communication between the cashier and the cook/barista was not done properly as they came to clean our table after having brought our order. - The furniture not seem to be of good quality and the place in general could be better decorated and arranged. However : - The dishes we tried were great and tasty. The drinks were correct. - They offer free WiFi

The one member of staff that served me couldn’t have made me feel any less t wanted in the shop from the minute I pulled up outside, the looks and stares I got was unreal, then when in the shop I asked for what I wanted and the attitude was a disgrace and told me basically I was sitting out side or taking away because which I could only think was because I was in my work clothes.definitely some training required on his attitude. Won’t be back

I have always liked this place. Good atmosphere. Always found the staff friendly. Used the laptops and printer many times. Yesterday 21 April 2023 I paid on my card £11.38 for 2 mochas and a slice of caramel shortcake. Bit pricey.☕☕🍰

The cringeworthy name has always kept me from going in, but a downpour one day drove me inside and omigoodness... the drinks are insanely yummy, especially the decadent hot cocoa and flavoured lattes. The staff is always incredibly nice, too. It's a great place to work during the day, and it's practically become my office now. I often stay for lunch, too. The mini nachos are a steal (& more than enough for a meal) and the cranberry & brie bagel is amazing. Top tip: if the WiFi signal is weak, try tapping into the Dram one instead

Went with family , first thing noticed all tables for 4 or more were occupied by people on their own ..mostly students who order coffee and then spend hours working ..managed to cobble together seats , service was fast , food was good , ambience was non existant , a bit dreary … when we left after food n drink same people still there with empty cups .. sad !!

Wonderful experience at icafe. The staff are so kind and polite and helpful. Food was very tasty and top marks for my hot chocolate. Looking forward to coming back 😀

Tried English breakfast first time in Glassgow. Nice asthetic cafe with good taste. Ordered Chicken Peri Wraps. Spiced latte english breakfast platter and cake. Cake was average cheesy chicken peri wraps were good. ❤️

great café to visit with your friends. the food tastes great. the service is perfect. their wifi speed is also really good to work with. but given the description, I saved this place as a "stufy café".. uhhh not really.. too much rock song and people talking around doesn't make this place to make people focus on their work. i'll go there if I need to chill a bit and not to work ฅ⁠^⁠•⁠ﻌ⁠•⁠^⁠ฅ

Everything was very average, chai latte was decent but difficult to do wrong, toastie was edible. For a place called iCafe there weren’t nearly enough plugs and my seat was pretty uncomfortable and drafty- not ideal in November. To be honest I wouldn’t even bother reviewing if the place wasn’t so expensive - £4.29 for the chai with oat milk as it was 50p more for oat milk, an odd choice for a place who cater so heavily to vegans. A fiver for an at best passable toastie with no crisps/salad on the side is crazy when Greggs is 2 minutes down the road and a million times tastier. To be clear, I’m not against spending a bit more - this is the West End - but I could go anywhere else in a 10 minute radius and spend the same amount of money for way better fare. Won’t be back.

Not dog friendly :( only told us when we had already sat down and got drinks delivered to the table. Something about a dog license, offered for us to sit outside but it's winter 🤣

Such rude people, the person who attended me was so rude I don't understand why someone like that works there. The place is nice and the food and drinks as well but the workers are horrible people!

iCafe  once was my absolute favourite place to chat with my friends on a weekday. However, after my friend Esther and I encountered a manager being shockingly rude to us we were apalled. In 2022 you would not expect utter hostility from a local cafe manager. She completely dismissed my querey and sat on her phone whilst I attempted to order. WORSE, she rolled her eyes when I tried to call her out. Obviously some people just don't care about the treatment of their loyal customers. I'm even more shocked to hear multiple women in the parish council  have similar stories. I'm ashamed to write this but you have lost a wide range of customers.

Great experience at this cafe. Had a baguette and one of their cakes. I asked the female manager about their different teas and she let me have little tasters. A really nice amosphere and the staff checked in that I enjoyed my lunch. Highly recommend, great service 😁

This is an amazing place for food and hospitality. All the staff go the extra mile to make your visit memorable. If you want fantastic food you need to call here!! It has something for everyone if you’re watching your figure or not and don't worry about that there desserts are to die for!

I was in the other day for a work lunch. A blonde girl served me and was lovely, she made me an amazing latte and they were doing discounted pasta! I had pesto pasta and also their tomato basil soup of the day. Amazing experience and lovely service, will be back!

We got the regular breakfast and the veggie breakfast and both were very very disappointing. The eggs were so dry and nothing was seasoned, however the smoothies were really nice.

Stumbled upon this place when getting home from working on the west end. Possible the best latte I've ever had in Scotland. Creamy frothy milk and a very subtle but flavourful coffee. The chicken, avocado and chilli sandwich was perfect. The bread lovely and fresh and surprisingly not dry and the filling was simply delicious and moist.

the coffee is fine! barista of the year and very consistent bean technique. nice location, i like to watch the church across the road. taken several friends there over the last few months and they often say after they remember it fondly. most of all, late opening hours make it very convenient and a place to be taken note of!

The younger man that was serving was very helpful, kind & not patronising at all! Coffee & cake very good. Fairly spacious layout. Range of seating, even outside (pavement cafes in Glasgow, jings....) Free Wifi Toilets spotless & easily accessible for a 65 year old, who's a bit wobbly on her feet.

Toying between 3 and 4 star review. I stop by for a coffee and sometimes panini every 2weeks as I drive through from Edinburgh. The coffee is great, as are the staff, music is good and food is ok. I do feel the place has gotten a little worse lately though. I read of high staff turnover and other tables can sit uncleared for a long time. I dunno, I think the owner perhaps need to do something to make their staff stay longer and be happier as I believe this is now getting reflected in the lesser service. Been coming for years and don’t want to go elsewhere

Average Wi-Fi, average coffee. Didn't try the food. Interior looks like a standard chain coffee shop. Atmosphere assassinated by the horrendous music. Can't recommend over any other standard café or coffee shop. Apparently the iced oat milk latte was too sweet. Black coffee tasted like average fresh coffee, no complaints there.

Good coffee! Seem to be the only decent coffee place in Glasgow who serve almond milk. Decor is a little dated but everything else was great
