Came here on Sunday with our 2 year old and 1 year old. Good variety for the fussy eater to have and a great variety for the kids that eats anything. Staff were attentive without being constantly on us.

Had an 8th birthday meal here today and the staff went so far to make this very special for us! All the staff were super friendly,helpful and Joe went the extra mile with her fabulous singing voice during our rendition of happy birthday, thanks to the little robot as well! Thanks, will be back!

Absolutely terrible food! And overpriced £70 for 1 adult and 2 kids ! Went with my kids today at opening time, food was cold and over cooked , would never return , absolutely terrible buffet restaurant don’t waste your money

Amazing 👏 service & staff that really went out of their way for customer experience. Lovely folk. Food for our party was well appreciated & enjoyed, variety being the king here. For me, personally, I thought everything was very tasty, if slightly salty. Some but not all of the dishes had drier chicken in them so could put some folk off. All in all, highly recommend 👌

The staff were lovely and friendly. The food on the other hand wasn't so good. There wasn't a lot of choice and all the trays could have done with being stirred every now and again as the food was dry. We went at lunchtime on a Friday and it was quiet so could have been that.

I wouldn't even give them one star rude abroad and attacked the delivery driver Police informed forklift driver attacked the driver knocking him to the ground witnesses and management said he still got his job first impressions to me very bad company keep well away

Joe served us. She was great and very friendly and funny. Very professional but also made us feel at home and welcomed. She had a big smile. All other staff were great too but Joe stood out to me. Very fast and efficient.

I popped in for lunch and really enjoyed the vibe and the cleanliness of the place—it felt fresh and welcoming. The food was top-notch, but I do think the lunchtime menu could be a bit cheaper; it's the same options as always. I was a bit disappointed with the drink choices, though; they only had zero sugar versions, and my Irn Bru tasted off. Overall, I had a great experience thanks to the fantastic service and atmosphere, but a few tweaks could make it even better!

I had a lovely lunch recently and couldn’t fault the food, drinks, cleanliness, and service – all top-notch! The atmosphere was spot on, making it a great place to relax. However, I think the lunch prices are a bit steep; a lighter option would definitely make things better value. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would recommend it, just with a friendly suggestion for better lunch pricing!

We often come to cosmo, and it never disappoints. Although sometimes the food quality isn’t the best, most of the time it’s nice. Staff are very friendly there.

Had an amazing time at Cosmo last weekend😀 it was my first time visiting Cosmo at Silverburn on a weekend lunch buffet! The restaurant was clean and tidy, stuff were helpful and kind☺️ there was a wide selection of foods including Chinese, Indian cuisines and stone baked pizza and a teppanyaki grill area! Loved the dimsums and the desserts! Definitely worth the price🙆🏻‍♀️ and will come back again! ✨

What a great place staff very helpful and pleasant and service, would highly recommend and also book table, great choices of food. Forgot to mention waitress Jo she was amazing, especially as it was my son 26th birthday and a table of sixteen Jo did brilliant service taking our order and from bringing out the bday cake.

Very disappointed the staff were efficient and helpful, the food on the other hand was not refilled often enough as the popular dishes were often empty..the barbecued lamb chops were delicious.

First time here, our party collectively were disappointed by the choice of food and quality. I’ve always heard that Cosmo was a top tier buffet, always spoken about. Having said that, the selection of Chinese/Indian food was poor. Quality wasn’t fantastic but also wasn’t very poor, just average at best. Not sure I’ll be back to this Cosmo, but would happily try others.

I had an outstanding dining experience! The food was top quality, with everything from the gravy to the green beans absolutely spot on. My kid loved the Margherita pizza too, which is a win in my book. The service was on point, and the atmosphere was just right for a relaxing meal. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the fantastic variety again!

A place that makes everyone happy. Really amazing choices to pick from and the staff were all just so helpful and friendly. Brilliant cost and location.

My opinion is based only on my experience. We visited at lunchtime during the week. Certainly, not for sushi lovers. Didn't like the fact that the tip was included in the recipient and we were not asked if we would like to leave one. Thought the atmosphere was nice.

This was the first time I'd been in this restaurant & I was like a kid in a candy store. There were food stations for every cuisine from British, Chinese, Indian etc. I've never seen so much food before. The dessert area is amazing, from various delicious cakes to fruit & a chocolate fountain. You can refill at the soft drink area as many times as you like. We were charged £25.00 per adult & I think it was £15.00 per child. Alcoholic drinks & soft drinks that are not at the refillable area are separately priced. The decor throughout is well done & it has a nice feel about the place. Whether it be a bite to eat after shopping or a special occasion, I think you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere better. The staff are very attentive & lovely too & are always clearing the tables. This was my first time here, but it will most definitely not be my last visit.

Place needs a major renovation & clean. Scummy dirt in bathroom sinks clearly been there for days! If not longer... Floors are slimey... Food was ok, but after 8pm & they dont replace the food.. Probably wont visit again. Major room for improvement Although service was really good!

Nice night for having dinner with family

We didn’t expect it to be that good. Went on Friday lunchtime. Our waiter mister F. was incredibly friendly and helpful. The buffet consisted of various meats, Chinese and Indian cuisines, plenty of seafood, ice cream, British food and more. As a pescatarian (vegetarian that eats seafood and fish) I had plenty of options. I loved fried cheese balls. I would not take any vegan friends with me though- most meals either contain meat, seafood or milk Restaurant was clean and food was fresh. I only wish some dishes were hotter- by the time you arrive to your table food sometimes get cold

Great service, friendly staff, reasonable food

The food itself is tasty and on the occasion I went it was hot and fresh, I was just a little disappointed in the selection. I was expecting more variety given the price, more world cuisine dishes but 80% is Chinese and Indian food. The grill section was also a let down. Only one person working at the grill on a busy Sunday, and telling everyone that they would need to wait at least 5 minutes, this resulted in a hefty queue for any meat from the grill, it was if they were almost trying to put you off going for it.

So not been to cosmos in silverburn for a while and was mega disappointed when I went on Saturday 16th,food was average and the roast gammon amd turkey wasn't in a big bit it was all cut up thinly and wad mega fatty,there was no veg and you can't get fried onions or anything,it's went right downhill I will stick to the bejing banquet any day, turkey was mega dry and disgusting thry need to sort themselves out and they also didn't do the free birthday meal on a Saturday either which it doesn't state anywere on website,won't be back EVER,can't even see it being opened for that much longer it's absolutely crap now go somewere else,overpriced for bad quality of food!!

1pm on a Sunday, walked in, no reservation, table for 4, no problem, escorted to table and ordered drinks ( not in the price of the buffet) and away you go, several plates later, leaving enough room for dessert. Food was aplenty, hot, well presented and tasted great. Plenty of choice from Chinese, Indian, BBQ, carvery etc. won’t be disappointed if you go. Cheaper Mon-Fri, cheaper again going during day rather than evening.

This was my first visit to a COSMO buffet. The restaurant itself was nice and clean with plenty of seating. As we had booked ahead we were taken to our seats and given a quick guide to where everything is located and left to our own devices after that. I will say the food was good however I will also say that compared to all the other world buffets I have visited, there was a lack of choice here. I could not find anything I would eat for a starter and only two mains I would eat and was not able to find a dessert. I wouldn't say I'm fussy about what I eat there was just a lack of choice. Despite the lack of choice I would go back but would try for another World buffet first for a bigger choice of food.

Great selection of food and fresh stuff still going out towards the end of the evening so plenty of choice even later on a Thursday night. Joe was outstanding; friendly, got us a great seat and looked after us well.

This is the best buffet style Restaurant you could find..delicious food...plenty to choose from plus chefs cooking what you ask for in front of you....your table is constantly being cleared and you are not rushed ..need to book as very busy plus great offers available.

Food seems to have went downhill in the last 6 months to a year

Where do I start? Food is so bad everything is dry and tasteless, Chicken wings are tiny and dry out, selection is very poor also. Your on a 90 min timer to so no relaxing. The plates are really small too , drinks £4 for refill. I’ll never go back if I was offered to eat for free.

Been few times before. But I was definitely not impressed this time..chicken pakora was dry...steak was un inedible. No point in steak if no steak knives provided...few dishes were waeeeyy to salty. Only dish I would recommend was the spicy pasta...was so good. So I went up to get some more. But by this time was dried up..

Wouldn’t recommend food wasn’t great and staff leaning over us clearing table when we were still eating.also not so good for disabled We were in for buffet table of 4 with 1 being disabled it was our first time won’t be back

I recently visited Cosmo Restaurant, and I was impressed with both the food and the atmosphere. The variety of dishes was incredible, and everything I tried tasted fresh and flavorful especially the Asian cuisine. The lively ambience made it feel like a fun night out, and the staff was super friendly. It’s a spot I’d recommend for great dining

Very good food and plenty of choice

First off the food, the chicken nuggets were like bricks the roast beef was pure fat and un cuttable including the lamb, the rice had hard bits in it and the tongs are rank, constantly little children putting there hands in all of the sweets and sometimes even biting them and putting them back !! 😳the steak is also very very fatty the cakes look damp on the bottom of them (cheesecakes) and the Eton mess !!!!! It is always stirred up and not enjoyable I don’t know why people think it’s funny to put sweets inside of it either and don’t get me started I only came today to see “magic yin” the magician was he any where to be seen ?!? No !!! I think this is appalling after I booked specifically for the magician and no one came a staff member said he was coming round the tables and he wasn’t in sight I don’t think I this was quite fair and my experience and Cosmo Silverburn for the 5th time it is the same every time !!! And not trying to seem like a pure evil person but why is there always kids running around screaming my experience was terrible and I’m not very happy with it!!! Do better next time!!!!

Was recommended by my grans close friend. We recently had a wee getaway from our town. So me and my partner said hey ho why not we will give it a try and sadly a day after our visit to the cosmos we ended up with the food poisoning witch hasn’t been the best as I’m not feeling to hot like wise with my partner.

Good starters, limited mains. Overall tasty but needs more variety.

This place was an absolute let down, food was horrendous crunchy and chewy noodles, hot cream which is ment to be cold in the desserts area, a call for food poisoning if you ask me, staff were atrocious not once was I asked how my food was during the time I was there which was around 1 hour, I will not be revisiting this establishment and dont advice others to either

For the price the food is great - really tasty And good portions of meat. Staff always friendly , can't fault cosmos. Weekday prices are brilliant and kids under 5 eat free

Me and my partner were recently here. Not been in a few years because we we're really disappointed in the variety and quality. Sadly, it seems nothing has changed. Poor selection of food available and definitely not worth the money. Even the live cooking station was terrible. Chef was cooking chickens and letting it touch raw chicken before serving to customers / us! Don't waste your cash here

Came over with my son and his partner and kids at 7pm we where seated quickly enough then the drinks order was taking which took them 20 mins to bring them to the table after asking them where they where as for the food most of the trays where empty and I had to ask staff members if they where being replaced to be told not all of them would be this is shocking as its 21.99 for a meal as for the food that was out most of it was very bland come on Cosmo get your finger out and do better as this was shocking I'll definitely wont be back what a waste of money big time

Thought there would be a larger selection of food. Was going to try Italian but pasta was dried out with little sauce. Carvery and ice cream cone machine as well as chocolate fountain. Not my favourite but glad I tried it.

Went back yesterday after about 1 Yr as it was not great anymore but yesterday was a complete pleasure , food was great all fresh & warm staff were friendly spoke to new manager Lee & told him what a massive change will certainly be back

I have to say if you enjoy eating here your standards must be pretty low. About 3/4 of the food is cold and the chicken dishes use shockingly low quality chicken that has a rubbery texture. I’ve gave the place a second chance and it’s still a waste of money.

Loved the fresh warm food offered from the restaurant. Staff are so friendly and helpful, especially liked the manager who was on at the weekend, he is so attentive and could not have done anymore for us. We will definitely be back and would encorage others to try out this outstanding place.

Went here tonight in a group of 8. We booked in advance and were quickly seated. The food wasn't incredible but certainly had a good variety. The Chinese and Indian options were the highlights: beef in black bean sauce, honey and garlic chicken, egg fried rice, ribs etc - delicious. I also really enjoyed the salt & pepper squid as it had a good kick to it whilst still being flavourful. I didn't try the pizza or carvery dishes. They definitely didn't look as appetizing as my selections! Desserts were tasty (highlight: custard bun & eton mess) and bite size , drinks refillable. Standard buffet pricing too - all reasonable. Service was good - I've been to buffets before where it feels like they just want to rush you out ASAP but didnt feel that here. Polite and pleasant staff. Would return - thanks Cosmo .

The place is good for lunch or dinner! The staff are lovely without a doubt, the range of food could fill up a couple of families 😁. My gran has a sore back and often needs the toilet so got seated close to the exit and toilet. Lovely staff, coming back definitely

Visited for a meal on a weekend away with the Mrs. The variety of food and service couldn’t have been any better! The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu, I never got the girls name who served us, but staff seemed all very well trained. I have a nut allergy, and the member of staff was able to walk me through all my available options with ease. I look forward to returning, hungry for more.

The food was delicious and had so many options to chose from prices are very good and if you go during the week you get seen immediately,no qué.

My family and I went in for dinner, and we absolutely loved it, the amount of choices for food is unbelievable, similar quality to a 5 star restaurant, not to mention the service and staff were top notch, and so polite and helpful, definitely worth the money for what you get. Went as a group on a Saturday night thought the buffet would be well stocked but some were cold or empty dishes. On the plus side the staff are all very helpful and the place is nice and clean. Sorry just not for us.

My husband & I went for lunch on 14/6/24. Food was cold & some was actually frozen. It was completely inedible. Trays of food were less than half full. I mentioned it to staff who just apologised & smiled. Eventually spoke with a manager who did offer to get fresh food from the kitchen but that totally defeats the point of a buffet. The area where we were sitting was completely covered in dust too. The manager offered us 50% of our bill, which I refused because we didn’t even have a full plate of food. We didn’t pay & left. I will NEVER eat there again.
