Not a local but I review every where I go in the country 👍👍 and this one too Found by chance... And what a great find!!! Kebab shop on one side and fish n chips on other side of it. I'd give the fish n chip shop 10/10 if Google allowed it.... Fish supper £7.50.... Fish huge! Freshly made at 1015pm ,tasted like it just came off a hook... delicious Only downside.... They don't use "proper" chippy brown sauce by Gold star 😲 Whoever underated it need their heads looked at 🤯

Phoned for a delivery 1 hour later I phoned to be told 5 min when it did come food was soggy and just warm .not worth feeding to the dog

Phoned in order to pick up asked for 2 suppers without batter and 1 with batter when I picked up my order girl said they don't do without batter on red pudding and smoked sausage but was told by male who took my order they did.

Horrible place people barley speak English delivery took place over 2 hours and Is still not here don’t get food from here it’s not worth it it’s absolutely ridiculous how long they take to deliver phoned them multiple times asking where my order is and they saying every time it will be 5-10 minutes and that was an hour ago when they said they were packing it so it will be stone cold never getting from here again if i could give it no stars i would

Absolutely boke, chips tasted so mank they had to be spat out, chicken fritter was red and not eatable. In fact I just threw the whole meal straight in the bin. Go to the Pend or Jack's for a proper Forfar chippy.

Use this chippy quote often, always freshly made and tastes great, also probably best value in town, love it!

Probably the worst chips I've ever had. Green, par-cooked, anaemic and greasy.

Order arrived 20 minutes late fish cake over cooked and cold put me off ordering here again

Ordered chips and curry sauce. It arrived in time but the meal was stone cold and the sauce was very sparse . Fairly disappointed and it’s put me off going back.

First time I’ve used this chip shop. Fish was dry and tasteless, batter was doughy on the inside and the chips tasted like they had been re-heated. Very disappointing.

Placed a delivery and was told 5pm, phoned again at 5.30pm only to be told it was drivers fault and would arrive in next 5 minutes. Food bloody cold. Poor showing.

Sausage cover in salt, chips like boiled potatoes, not for me and I don't recommend it. Sorry

So I had ordered a hamburger supper with an extra burger and had to stand there and shout at 2 different workers that couldn’t understand a word of English for them to understand my order which they got wrong anyway and didn’t even want my food by the time it was ready, definitely won’t be going back there in a hurry

wife phoned an order in tonight of a mock chop supper and red pudding supper, got there and was told we ordered mock chop and white pudding (male answered phone) and would have to wait for a red pudding, waited and got home only to find i got a white pudding!! i wouldnt mind but thats twice that has happened.... bloody hate white puddings. live in letham so not as simple as just taking it back!!

Ordered a delivery at 5.30 And didn’t get told to pick it up till 6.30 what a joke

Waited about 2 hours for my delivery.I called at 4.30 as knew they would be busy with it being Christmas Eve.My order finally arrived at 6.20.When my order arrived both chicken fritters were burnt round the edges and the chips weren’t up to much either.Will think twice about going back

Waited over an hour for home delivery, I suspect they went to wrong address then chucked it in the microwave. Fish was dry, batter was rubbery and chips were cold after two mins, Disgusting. Will never go back

Nice 'chipper', has all the usual suppers etc. Prices are quite reasonable as well

Order from here every Friday. Usually up to scratch and friendly service. Tonight food cold. Called and spoke to manager who denied it could be possible food would be cold and hung up the phone on me. Any suggestions on takeaways to try in the area as I sure won’t be going back here.....rude management and cold food!!!!

If you ask how long they will be they always say half an hr even tho sometimes I have waited over an hr. Food is sometimes just warm when it arrives and needs reheated

Ordered and paid for a delivery over an hour and a half later still no food got intouch and their excuse was no one was in they chaped no. 20 no answer that's funny there is no no. 20 in my street

Inconsistent. Sometimes great but other time can be awful.
