Hyatt House London Stratford in Newham

This hotel is tucked right inside the Westfield Stratford shopping center, making it an ideal location for those looking to shop, dine, or access public transport. With easy access to the Underground, Overground, and National Rail services, getting around London is a breeze from here. Hyatt House guests enjoy complimentary breakfast and access to a self-service laundry/dryer room (on Level 9, if I recall correctly). The breakfast spread was decent, though it’s disappointing that halal meat options are still not available at this location—something the hotel could definitely improve on given the area’s diverse population. Adding halal options would really enhance the experience for Muslim travelers who frequent this area. One major downside is the confusing arrival experience. There’s no clear hotel signage from the street, and no direct street parking available. If you’re driving, especially during peak hours, it can be quite frustrating to locate the entrance. The hotel is tucked between restaurants and just before the main mall entrance. You’ll first be greeted by a welcome desk at ground level, then need to head up to Level 3 for check-in. That said, once you’re inside, the hotel is modern, clean, and the staff is welcoming and professional. Rooms are well-equipped with kitchenettes, making it a good option for longer stays or families. Just be prepared for a bit of navigation stress the first time you arrive—especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area.

Almost perfect. Dump the horrible artificial cucumber smell at the elevator! Hotel is located more or less on top of the Westfield shopping center about 150 metres from the Stratford underground station (don't trust google, don't go to Stratford international). About as generic and characterless a location as you can find but at least it's clean and there's no vehicle traffic in front of the hotel. There's an M&S and a Waitrose within easy walking distance and at least a dozen casual dining places. The hotel as a a small lobby with a security guard, the elevators and that horrible smell producing device but the main hotel doesn't start until the 3rd flour where the reception, restaurant and bare are. Friendly staff at check in but the heavy typing and frequent frowning at the screen make me believe the software they have to work with isn't very friendly. Got a nice room on the 11th floor. Public spaces are very well kept. Room was clean except for a small but very prominent patch of mould on the shower wall. Window didn't lock properly which I reported on checkout since it didn't really bother me. There's a small but functional kitchen with an induction hob, microwave and enough pots and pans to rustle up a simple meal. Also fridge and small dish washer. Disappointing amount of scratches and dents everywhere, even the shower stall floor (How did someone manage that!?) Wifi is fast, bed is medium and water pressure in the shower is high! Breakfast has the full english basics as well as a good selection of yoghurts, cereal, fruit, basically something for everyone really. Fitness room isn't the biggest but it has the essentials and again well kept. Staff I've dealt with was friendly and did their very best. All in all a very likeable hotel. I will be back!

Our 2nd stay in the House section. If we came again, we would choose this place again. Both the location of the hotel (inside Wesfield Mall), the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the service, and the successful and adequate breakfast enabled us to have a wonderful holiday. The location of the hotel is also very good for urban transportation.

There was no toilet brush in the room. Water was draining from the sink, except that the room was great. Breakfast was nice but for 3 days we kept eating the same stuffs, there was not change at all. 3 or 3.5/5

If I ever come back to Stratford, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Amazing hotel. The cleanliness of the bathroom is exceptional, truly on a Japanese level. The sheets are pristine, and the decor is elegant, with everything looking spotless. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils I needed. Breakfast is inclusive and it was very good. The staff is so friendly, and I’d like to give a special shoutout to Nalif (I hope that’s the right spelling) for being so helpful and keeping our bags safe. This hotel really checks all the boxes for me. Location wise, it is super convenient, close to the stratford mall and stratford train station.

Great hotel with modern, clean rooms. The service is great and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Location is great right next to shopping malls and street areas with a lot of different restaurants. The interior is great and they have a very good breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt House London Stratford. First of all, the hotel was in a very convenient location. Stratford station was accessible to many lines within London and it was very easy getting into the city. I loved how it was kind of within a mall/plaza so the area was always lively and homey whenever we came back after a long day. And with the mall being there, it was convenient to grab stuff. Secondly, I loved how the hotel smelled and was decorated inside. The ambience was great. The rooms were also quite spacious and we had our own kitchen as well which was nice. Saving the best for last, I absolutely loved the breakfast here! Defiantly THE best hotel breakfast I’ve had to date. The mushrooms they make are so tasty I could not stop eating them!

Excellent hotel, great service, large rooms in the Hyatt House with spectacular facilities shared with the Hyatt Regency. Well equipped gym overlooking the park, great breakfast and friendly staff. A little bit of a hassle to get to with bags if you're coming by taxi as you need to walk them through the shopping center as there is no drop off or equivalent for the hotel that i can find or that is advertised on the website. However, its great and very convenient to be located right on Stratford underground station. Whilst a little pricey unless its an award night redemption, i would definitely recommend. Super fast and easy to get anywhere in London with the Elizabeth Line at your doorstep.

I was very pleased with my stay. Staff were amazing. It was great all round. I also find the mall location convenient and it is well connected to all parts of London. One minor inconvenience were the unannounced fire alarm tests which happened twice

And amazing breakfast. You are smack next to the mall. The staff are friendly. We had a small issue with our room heat but they simply moved us where the heat worked, thank you Daniyal for that! Great stay

I would like to give one star as service is very unprofessional, i booked room 1 week in advance and when i arrived my room was not ready. I waited in lobby for sometime then i had to ask again and got the room. When i entered the room somebody’s else luggage was in the room. The reception was not bothered so highly disappointed to have a first bad impression.

Good Hotel Nice place that provides good breakfast. Breakfast items even have salad, tofu and halal meat. There is a small gym and manuel laundry service available too. Each room has a fridge, microwave machine, oven, cooker and dish washer. Good location. Clean environment. Good room service.

The location and service are suitable, but they stole the insurance and did not return it. We contacted them and they also played a trick on us

We loved our stay at Hyatt House! We booked a three night stay on hotel points and definitely got the value out of our free stay. The location is a little outside of the city but it was cheaper points wise so we got what we got. But it is right on the tube line and getting into the city / to any attractions is very easy and convenient. The room was very nice and the staff was extremely kind all around. Was always very impressed with their breakfast that was also included in our stay. Overall I would stay here again especially for free!

We booked in for a night with room and breakfast for 2 people and we wanted to have breakfast in our room and obviously we're happy to pay the tray charges, but to our amazement, they wanted to charge us £50.00 again for breakfast plus the tray charges!!! Worst part is we use this hotel regularly but never asked before! Happy to take your money 💰 but if you want customer care, look else where.

Had a very enjoyable nine days stay at Hyatt House London Stratford. The rooms are comfortable and the location is excellent. It is right beside a big shopping centre (Westfields), also the Stratford underground station is a few minutes walk, making it easy to go to London attractions.

Promised to send the invoice shortly after leaving. Now not even responding to mails. Bad service even when the location was good

Amazing staff, the went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. The hotel has very high standards and it right next to the mall which was awsome.
