Appalling! I reserved a table for 6 and when I arrived they said they have no table for us! It was my daughter’s birthday and it left all of us terribly disappointed! We won’t be coming back. Completely unacceptable

My daughter and I had a delicious mothers day brunch. The food and drinks were fab and the complimentary glass of prosecco was a lovely treat. Ramon and his staff are friendly and attentive. We will be definitely be going back.

Have ordered a few times over the years and they always deliver, never disappoint. Being overseas means reliable companies like Hummings is an asset when ordering flowers for my loved ones back home.

Went for a breakfast after reading the reviews, food took a life time to arrive and was barely warm when it did, only saving grace was the coffee was good and the waitress brought my little boy some paper and a pencil so he could draw while we waited.

Came here for birthday drinks. The bar staff were so king and friendly and helped recommend drinks. Beautiful vibe and atmosphere

There couldn’t have been a better venue to celebrate the big 18th for my sister. The drinks service was on point as well as friendliness of bar staff. Music from an incredible DJ was incredible and transformed the space entirely. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a party to remember 🎉

Loved my visit to hummings, such a fun, quirky space with a chill vibe for morning coffee or brunch. Had a lovely matcha latte, which is actually pretty hard to do well but the staff at hummings nailed it. Really friendly and attentive staff, definitely recommend 👌🏼

Gorgeous place. Not in my neck of the woods so had never heard of it but visited for brunch for a friend's birthday. Really, really good food. Owner really friendly. Loved the decor. Definitely a place I hope to visit again as so many menu items looked appealing and the vibe was great. Seemed great for a girl's night and a date night and even a solo coffee. Definitely recommend.

Hummings is a whole vibe. We went for evenings drinks, and it was the perfect late night spot with reasonably priced drinks, and good music with a chill ambiance. The staff were the right balance of attentive but not overbearing, and seemed to be enjoying themselves working too. If you’re in the area, pop in for a drink for sure. We liked it enough to consider throwing some parties there in the future.

I arranged my daughter’s 18th birthday brunch at Hummings in Esher, and I can’t thank Ramon and his team enough for making it such a special day. I wasn’t able to attend myself, but from what my daughter and the guests told me, everything was perfect. Ramon and his team really went out of their way to make sure she felt celebrated. The venue had a great vibe, and the food was a hit with everyone. The staff really took care of every detail, and it was clear they genuinely wanted to make her birthday unforgettable. Thank you so much Team Hummings! Even though I wasn’t there, I’m so grateful to Ramon and his fantastic team at Hummings for helping create such a memorable celebration. Highly recommended for any special occasion!

I like to take my family when they come to stay. Staff are really lovely. We love the decor and the music. Great pancakes for the children served on shark themed plates. Wonderful coffee and food also very good all presented in a quirky individual way. Feel like a lot of thought has gone into giving us a nice experience. This is our go-to place to eat and drink in Esher

Had a wonderful brunch here. Served beautifully on a large sharing tray, perfect for picking at and plenty for a group of 4. Pancakes were delicious. Served with a nice prosecco. Will be recommending to everyone.

We went for Kate drinks and a bit of a boogie! Atmosphere was good, slightly empty but good music! We had my friend’s birthday so it was a big group. Staff are great and very friendly! Drinks are good especially the porn star martinis.

Hummings bar is a true hidden gem in the heart of Esher. Upon arrival we were greeted with beautiful decor and a pleasant ambience created by the dj and the lighting. Opening the menu gives an interesting surprise (one which is best not spoiled here!) At the bar, we were taken care of by Todd, a charming bartender whos professionalism and skill at making cocktails left us absolutely flabbergasted. The drinks menu boasts an impressive variety of options and can cater to every taste. If you are in Esher, and are looking for a place to spend a few hours, Hummings is the place to be.

I couldn’t rate this bar any higher!!! The food the service the atmosphere it was all top notch!! I’ll definitely be coming here again. The music was amazing and the lighting made such a great mood 😍 so happy I found this bar !!!

Was in there last night with my friend. It's a lovely place, all the staff were kind and welcoming. The smart attire is a nice plus and the menu looks really appealing. Plus the milkshakes are great!

Went here for a late lunch, food was fine, although took a long time. However, the front of house staff were really poor, they basically just looked and behaved like they didn't want to be there. Service with a smile? More like service with a sour-faced expression. Everything seemed to be too much trouble (and we didn't ask for anything out of the ordinary). When we first walked in no one acknowledged us. Sauces weren't offered with the food and it was treated like a huge inconvenience to fetch them when we asked. They tried to charge us for a drink we hadn't ordered, then when we raised this it appeared like they already knew about the error but had chosen to do nothing about it! No apology either. We always make an effort to be polite and considerate to service-sector staff because we know how unpleasant some members of the public can be, but we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable in this place. I can see from other reviews that we may have been unlucky, perhaps they were having an off-day, but we won't be returning.

I organised a school mum's night for the whole year, we had 50 people. I arranged for everyone to pay before the night. We all had a glass of bubbles when we arrived, all within the set price & Hummings arranged an amazing selection of food. We had the best salmon you will ever taste, marry me chicken, roasted cauliflower cheese, pesto pasta, sweet potato fries and a large selection of salads. Such a great venue, as you get to chat with so many more people. Music in the background and of course the bar. We had such a great time, so thank you Hummings.

They couldn’t have been more accommodating of us and our little family. Though their blender was acting up, they went out of their way to help and let us know in advance - mercifully the brilliant milkshakes could be made! The coffee and food were brilliant too. Order the ‘Something Different’ sandwich! We’ll be back.

Beautiful place, great food! We have visited a few times and it very quickly became one our favourite places to eat. Today we tried the sharer’s Brunch and OMG Chef’s kiss! Love the Halloween vibe going at at the minute too.

I have been to Hummings a few times now, and I simply love it! Initially visited with a friend while looking for a pre-girls night out spot - we didn't leave. We had such a fun night - the music, the atmosphere, the cocktails!! It was a vibe! The cocktails by the way, were simply divine (definitely recommend having a Freaky Tiki, so delicious)! Came back with my family for some brunch, and they loved it, too (the Hummings Humdinger is a MUST). Such a lush selection of food to choose from for brunch or lunch, and smoothies too, at great prices. The kids pretty much demolished the Pancake Tower (such a generous portion!), and were spoilt for choice with the milkshake options. The staff were so accommodating and gave my two little ones lots of attention. It's so refreshing to find a spot that ticks so many boxes! If you're in Esher, pop down to this little gem on the high street - you definitely won't be disappointed.

We have been to hummings a number of times, for drinks and food, as well as held and attended parties there, so we were already impressed with the standard of service and the creativity and taste in the cocktails and food. So when we decided to hold a party at home we knew who to book for the cocktails! It was the best money spent! Sergio brought everything he needed to make any cocktail we wanted, nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to make sure every guest was happy. Would highly recommend and will be booking for all our future events.

Hummings is just such a great addition to the Esher / Oxshott / Cobham dining experience. I love the fact it’s got that community feel with familiar faces. The owner takes such pride in the ingredients and the menu and it’s evident when you visit. The pancakes are a must. My kids will argue it’s the milkshakes that win!

We just found this gem when looking for somewhere to grab some food in Esher. The breakfast was incredibly good, with exceptional presentation. The staff were extremely laid back, friendly and professional. After brunch we watched the mixologist make some cocktails, then promptly ordered an espresso martini. It was divine. The atmosphere was lovely, the food and drink were exceptional and we will definitely be back for more. Finding a place like this is so rare nowadays. We definitely stumbled upon a special place.

I wish I had started dining in this beautiful cafe sooner. I was enticed by their 50% offer on a Tuesday. The food is very reasonably priced anyway but there is a lot of competition on the high street. The pancakes are incredible and the lunch so tasty and fresh. Drinks are also amazing. Service is super and everyone is very welcoming. I have also been to an event in the evening but it’s a shame there isn’t a bit more space for dancing. Still a great vibe!

Recently had my daughter’s birthday party here and what an amazing place for a party! The team were brilliant, so friendly & helpful in the planning & on the day. They offered a mocktail making session which the girls loved and the food was sensational. We are all still dreaming about the Cookie Dough pie! It is definitely my favourite venue in Surrey for a party and I will be having many more celebrations here! Thanks to Ramon & his team 👏🏻🙏🏻

Service too slow, moody customers sitting down because of this. Food was too slow, and when arrived, portions were tiny. Not good enough. Expected better because of the ratings, but clearly not the case.

Was in the area and fancied and bite to eat. Decided to run in Hummings looking for anything to eat. What a little gem! We just grabbed a sandwich each and they was UNREAL! I had the bacon and sausage sandwich & my boyfriend had the club sandwich. Both said it’s the best we had had of that type of sandwich. Such a reasonable price for the size of the sandwiches. Highly recommend visiting.
