Humber Bridge Garden Centre was a pleasure to visit. They offer a wide array of garden supplies, from a vibrant selection of plants to comfortable and stylish garden furniture. Everything you need to create your dream outdoor space is likely to be found here! I was particularly impressed by the sheer variety of plants available. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, you're sure to find something that catches your eye. The staff seemed knowledgeable and helpful, which is always a plus. The on-site restaurant/cafe also looked very appealing. It was bustling with customers, which is usually a good sign when it comes to food quality. While I didn't have the chance to try it myself, the menu looked delicious and the atmosphere was inviting. The large car park was a welcome convenience, especially after browsing through all those tempting garden goodies! Overall, Humber Bridge Garden Centre is a delightful place to spend an afternoon. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for garden supplies, inspiration, or simply a relaxing escape.

What a lovely place to visit😊, definitely 5 stars in all areas 👏👏. We had a delicious breakfast 😋, cafe staff very professional, friendly and approachable.....dog friendly inside/outside 👍. Karen in the shop was very warm and friendly, our Border Terrier Hamish really liked her. The garden centre was amazing....it was definitely one of the nicest garden centres we have visited, it was so very well organised, clean and tidy, staff all warm and friendly. This was our 2nd visit and will definitely make it out regular brekkie stop. Shirley, Neil and Hamish

Such a beautiful place to enjoy food and drinks. We sat outside - the view is amazing! You overlook a lake with geese and lots of fields. After a long 4 hour drive, The hubby and I had a lovely lunch at The Old Tile Works Restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was really tasty and well presented. The service by Layla was excellent, so welcoming & polite (Thank you Layla). We also had a stroll around a few shops and the Garden centre which we found all very reasonably priced as we bought a few treats 😉 We also had a peep in the pottery shed to watch how the tiles and plant pots were being made.

I cannot fault the restaurant or food everything was lovely and I would happily recommend this place and more importantly the resturant staff where a joy. My review is simply for the homewares and stationary part which is in a separate building. Beautiful flowers vases ect HOWEVER the staff attitudes seriously need attention, I saw a lovely artichoke ornament on a shelf picked it up and as I turned it upside down to see the price the lid fell onto the floor and smashed (I did not know it had a lid, I wouldn't have done this if I did there was no indication. I thought it was a solid piece) the female staff member came over with a horrific look of judgment on her face and said "if you brake it you buy it!" Arguably in a situation of utter embarrassment I feel an attitude of empathy and a friendly are you ok? would have been a much better approach. The fact I was asked to pay for the item is understandable even if at a reduction, I broke it even though it was a genuine accident. The experience today was a pleasant one until this happened but regrettably I won't be returning I'll take my money elsewhere.

We only had a hot drinks here (hence the 4 stars) which we both really enjoyed! The food boards looked good and so did the cakes that were on show, so i will give another review next time we are here. It was clean, fresh, new and welcoming is all I can say at the moment.... 29/11/2023... Finally had a chance to try their brekkie after attending a concert in Hull the previous night.... Although the breakfast was fab, I have still left it at 4 stars because the prices are quite high, and the North Sea Observatory breakfast is still a little better (seems nobody can beat them!) I feel there was too much scrambled egg and it was a little watery underneath, but other than that, it was a good plateful of food....And definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Went today for the first time, there was a lot of items not available, we were told prior to ordering what was not available, not an issue at first as what we’d planned to order wasn’t affected. Made our order and sat down awaiting our food. Someone came over a few minutes later to inform us that the food we ordered was now also not available, we then had to order something else. Understand places run out of items but there was a lot unavailable. The food that we did get was nice enough so no complaints there, portion sizes pretty decent and priced well. Soft drinks are incredibly overpriced; £2.50 for a 250ml coke and £3.20 for a 330ml Fanta is insane.

First time visiting here and overall wasn't that impressed, nice entrance and building but after that it's clear this is a profit driven machine. Prices are very very high, how does a sandwich cost £9... in Barton, that's London prices?? I can but only describe it as somewhat 'snobby'. Went for lunch and they were somewhat accomodating but food wasn't great, seemed a bit pointless having someone to seat you at your table and it seemed very frantic and rushed there was almost pressure on people to finish quickly and go away, maybe just get rid of that person and that'll save people a few pence on their meals and they'll feel more welcomed and less pressured. Garden centre wasn't really much of a garden centre and most of the artisan places were closed. I understand garden centres usually aren't the cheapest but was taking the monkeys a little. Don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

I had a very poor experience there last Wednesday. A friend and I placed an order for scone, cream jam and waffles plus ice cream, and drinks. BTW I was standing in the queue in front of the scone. The drinks arrived within 10 minutes. 10 minutes later my friend enquired about our food, and was informed that it was on its way. 5 minutes later, a server came to tell me that they were out of scones, I replied that they hadn't been as I'd seen it! 5 more minutes they came to tell us that they were out of waffles.... Couldn't make it up. So either the order hadn't been processed, or there are archaic systems in place that allow you to spend money for items that are already sold out. I should add that a member of staff refunded my friend the value of the food we didn't receive, and for her pot of tea, but we had paid to travel over the Humber Bridge and back to make this our venue, so it was pretty disappointing.

Views of the Humber Bridge and the opportunity to visit the Artisan Studios and Garden Centre...an absolute bonus. 👍 Plus adjacent to the Humber Bank for a delightful walk in either direction.....perfect.😊 Staff and facilities in the restaurant were 1st class....🤗 only criticism was the Acoustics..! The grand open space created a "cacophony of noise"...children's voices were amplified....(I love my 7 grandchildren .. but dont need to hear them screaming) An acoustic damper or some form of absorbing the sound should be explored. (IMO.) And finally despite the food being 1st class and delicious, why couldn't the garden peas be replaced for the mushy peas with the Scampi ...? (when you are offered the choice with the fish & chips...?) Told .."absolutely no exchanges to the menu.." ☹!!
