Hua Xin in Hackney

an hour ago I spent £55 on my order,when I received the order there was a chow mein missing(i ordered 2)so I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady I spoke to over the phone said she will speak to the delivery driver and call me back.I received no call back instead 15 minutes later I had the delivery driver and one of the owners(i assumed)knock at my door asking me why I called and said I only received one bag of food instead of two and he said it very rudely.First I didn't understand why the driver and owner needed to come together and secondly I don't know why I was being accused of something I never said.The driver said they will go back to the restaurant and bring the chow mein that was missing.I waited nearly an hour and nothing was brought so I called the restaurant for the same lady I originally spoke to to tell me "I know for certain I put your chow mein in there,why am I accusing her of not putting two in there and she will check the cctv".I just could not believe after spending £55 and the fact I've been ordering from them for nearly 5 plus years to treat me like that for a chow mein.very disgusting and unacceptable.I told her to check the cctv but I still will never order from them again.VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE,I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Compramos comida para llevar de Hua Xin cada vez que estamos en la ciudad y la comida siempre llega muy rápido y es de muy buen nivel. ¡Sigan con el buen trabajo!

Somos un habitual aquí y realmente disfrutamos de la comida para llevar. El precio siempre es muy razonable y la comida siempre es buena.

Muy buena elección o comidas y opciones vegetarianas a precios razonables recomendaría pad thai. satay palos. tallarines

Podría ser mejor, pero han tenido mucho peor cuando se trata de comida para llevar de China. Bajo nueva gestión y cargas mejoradas pero aún así no impresiona.

Cucina cinese davvero buona.Riso con gamberetti e ananas da provare! Involtini primavera medio grandi e anatra un pochino troppo in umido. Ottimo servizio e prezzo contenuto.Facile posteggio.

WORST CUSToMER SERVICE YOU WILL EVER GET. After an hour and half of no food I rang to be hung up on several times. They also told me their website was down after we paid so if we hadn't called no food, no money back. He asked me if I would like to speak to the boss and i said yes, the boss hung up on me. They kept talking over me after saying the place is too busy and noisy and hung up. TERRIBLE wil never order from here again

This restaurant has the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I called them to order a takeaway this evening and found that they had no time to even listen to me. I was repeatedly hung up on and told to order through their website, then call them to let them know of my special dietary requirements. When I did this, I was hung up on yet again. My order then took 1hr 40 mins to arrive and when it did was missing items and had failed to include my dietary requirements. I called hua xin and they not only refused to send the missing items but also refused to send the delivery driver back to refund me the money for them. Do not waste your time with this terrible establishment.

Food was awful. Rice was dark brown with oil, kung po chicken was deep fried and stodgy and I received two portions of rice in place of a missing dish. Tried calling but they kept me on the phone for 10 mins and hung up! Not impressed.

Fantastic food - pork belly and prawn tempura were both delicious and great value!

Sweet and sour sauce tastes just of ginger, it was inedible. Chicken batter balls were nice, so was duck and rice. But crispy beef was terrible.

We ordered : peeking style ribs - which my husband liked crispy chilli beef - not particularly chillied but very crispy Ho fun vegetables - like most london noodle houses - as expected. vegetable curry - typical uk chinese take on curry salt and peper squid - heavy on the batter and slightly overcooked prawn toast - crispy delivered hot and promptly - monday night. We were happy with our order and when we are in the mood for this type of chinese we would definitely order form here again. If you are looking for authentic regional chinese then this isn't it.

Food arrived on time, but the crackers were stale and the three dishes we had were distinctly average. The pork dumplings were particularly poor.

Food was ok..rice and noodles nice but barely any duck in duck chowmein and was fatty aswell as dry (what little there was). Wasn't that warm even though delivered early but the delivery driver did call us because he went to the wrong door. Overall enjoyable but would try somewhere different next time.

Delicious food. Good portion sizes. Plenty of meat in the dishes - not just filled up with vegetables. Delivered right to my apartment door earlier than expected! Couldn't fault it. Will definitely order again!

The worst food iv ever had. When I open the bag my food was everywhere and cold also wrong when I called I just got a sorry. This is the first and last time I will order from this place and I'm shivkd they are still open.

The food had arrived within 30 minutes of me ordering it, considering I ordered 10 items and that 30 minutes included the driver getting to my house the food wasn't fresh or very nice, the quality wasn't there at all, wouldn't order from here again

great chicken balls & Thai red curry

After reading the glowing reviews on Hua Xin, Dusan's comment was particularly very reassuring, we thus decided to go ahead and place an order. I can tell you now we were delighted with the goods.. After consuming, we pondered on how great our Sunday had been, the Hua Xin take away topping it off. Love the way the sweet and sour was served in a polystyrene medium coffee cup, it's the little things after all. After this meal we were left feeling rambunctious with a salty palette.

The sweet and sour chicken tasted like chemicals. I phoned to advise the restaurant and ask for a new one to be sent but they dismissed my complaint. I find this very concerning due to the nature of the complaint. They also refused a refund and said if I would have to pay again for a new portion. Very disappointed. The rest of the meal was ok but not a very good standard. I feel I should have a refund on this

Food was delicious, arrived early even though extra time was added to my delivery because it was a busy day.

The soup was great. Crispy shredded beef was good. Kung Potter Chicken was very good but spicy. Not outstanding but overall a good meal

Noodles were nice, but the beef in black bean sauce tasted like the cling film that it was wrapped in? Not enjoyable at all nor was the lemon chicken.

Amazing as ever, so helpful as well as I pressed collection when I meant to choose delivery, called the restaurant and no problem for them.

Order arrived and I'm convinced it was wrong. Ordered a satay chicken dish and it was very spicy and had whole pieces of chilli in it, but the menu didn't say it was spicy. Rang to check the order and was treated very poorly by the lady on the phone...

Absolutely appalling behaviour from the driver. I am a regular customer and I never expected to be spoken to the way I did today. The driver called me asking to meet him on another road because he went the wrong way. I then stated to the driver that if I wanted to be walking out in the cold I would have collected my food, I specifically stated delivery so that it would be delivered to me, not me meeting him half way. He then proceeded to shout at me over the phone and when he finally got to my destination (which was on the corner of the road and extremely hard to miss) he called me a "F***** idiot" and left my food on the wall. Disgraceful.

Crispy duck was just a load of bones with a small amount of meat. Dumplings were good.

All very tasty, however I would prefer for the menu to list the ingredients in proper detail. For instance, the Chicken with Ginger & Spring Onion consisted of more than 50% onion (not just Spring Onion). I have an intolerance to onion, and would have asked for no onion had I known that the dish mainly consisted of onion.

I was recommended Hau Xin and the reviews looked good- however it was truly awful. Bland and dire. The worst dish was the rock hard salt and pepper tofu. It is supposed to be crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. As we are veggie maybe they just can't do good veggie food? So disappointed:(

Lovely and delicious sweet and sour pork, beef and black bean and egg fried rice, however the vegetable spring rolls were horrible and had no filling inside! Crispy duck was very good too! Overall a great Chinese dinner 😊

Super fast delivery and piping hot. I love the coconut rice from this place. The beef was more crunchy than crispy and the salt and pepper chicken was again chewy, but dietary requirements followed. Would order again.

The food was good. Service very quick. I think they brought me a slightly wrong order (vegetable chow mein tasted like sweet and sour vegetables) but otherwise happy and would order from them again.
