Best fish and chips around Howden/Wallsend by far, always freshly cooked and very clean

This was the nicest food anyone has ever made me perfection highly recommend and so so friendly ❤️

Best kabab in the area. Doner meat and chicken is gorgeous. Salad is the best. Red and white cabbage delicious. Jumbo sausage good and crispy. Could do better with their chips but still good for the price.

get food from here and it's the peng ting. cheap prices and cheesy pizzas and fast services and macca kebabs and I'm no longer jewish it also tastes good

The worst fish and chips I’ve had in my long life, bought some today for £9.40 the fish was horrible, the taste was disgusting, too much grease, I felt sick all day and night got no idea what it was cooked in. Stay away

Pretty bad, this chip shop was great when the old owners had it but this is going back 30/35 years ago when it was a proper chippy and didn't do pizza and kebabs!

Chips amazing and fish was lush

Ordered fish bites got a whole fish. The fish was good, the batter and soft soggy and very very greasy went in the bin. Spoiled the meal .

Dissatisfied with this order . Usually it’s very good .this time order was cold . Kebab had no chilli sauce. Which I ordered, chips and kebab was cold .not good at all .hopefully rectified next time.

My favourite chip shop and I can never praise this shop enough

I have to change my review. This chippy has gone right down hill for me they don't let the food sit and rest anymore when it comes out the fryer, they just put it straight in the paper and it's so greasy it's rank to be honest. Or the chips aren't cooked properly at all and their like white sometimes. Shame because I really liked it there.

Order was wrong ordered chips got salad, not just on one meal but both. Bit disappointing when you have to watch fibre intake on diet

whenever i eat here the options are always wonderful as is the food, from the pizza options to the various other meal options i have never found a combination that i have disliked. the only reason that i have given this 4 instead of 5 stars is the fact of the chips sometimes being pretty dry and stale tasting, like they had been cook a lot earlier and had therefore been left out but i understand that during the circumstances it can be hard to sometimes cook on the order and its easier to have it prepared beforehand

Got a tikka wrap - it was beautiful, plenty of chicken and cooked perfectly, salad was fresh and crunchy. Also got a pizza - plenty of cheese on it. Thumbs up.

Got pizza from here yesterday and it took 1 hour 20 minutes too come 2 streets away when I rang the restaurant to ask where the food was the person who answered the phone was very rude and when the food eventually turned up the order was wrong! Felt like I couldn’t ring the shop because of the staff being aggressive in the first place. Never again

excellent in all respects, best chippy we've had except for the meat pies which were aweful (mostly made up of very thick pastry and a small amount of meat filling), don't buy these as they really are disgusting

First time I’ve been in years to this chippy WOW! How amazing is the food?! The prices are so reasonable, so much so that I was absolutely gobsmacked when I got a call from the restaurant saying they missed two of my fish bites out of my order and asked if I wanted them delivered or on my next order! I was stuffed from the 3 I got haha 😂 the lady that called was lovely delivery was early and delivery guy was lovely too and I can’t fault them at all will definitely be back! Looking forward to my next order food was honestly delicious well done guys

Alway order from here and a will name and shame howdon chippy had a stone in my cheesy chip and 45 min wait for cheesy chips to come back when a rang up about the stone in my food never again that could of been my son or daughter eating that

Got a chicken salad wrap - the salad was fresh, decent portion of chicken in there and it was tasty. Also got a pizza, again good amount of toppings and cheese on there. The garlic sauce is really tasty too. Staff in the shop were friendly

Chips are just like when I was a kid and I'm 67 now. Fantastic. None of this cooking in oil stuff or if they do, they disguise it well. Only fault I can give is that they don't deliver to Meadow well

Please don't go in and order and mention or ask for the same thing twice as it seems to confuse the owner, he will be funny with you and confrontational and then will tell you he won't take your order. Also, I think he feels threatened if you stand up to him when he is being funny with you as it undermines his authority. Don't use!

Staff are great, Maureen is really friendly, great stop locally for supper after a daytime drinking. Never found a bad chip 😂👍
