A refuge camp not hotel! The hotels occupants hang around the car park drinking and smoking weed day and night ,first night I watched 3 coaches full of more "guests " turn up carrying what looked like evidence plastic evidence bags like the ones from prison/court,not luggage. I felt like a foreigner in my own country, was like visiting a 3rd world country.

My review like all others, will make zero difference. I have no issue with the use of this hotel for government purposes. I have an issue with it not being advertised to me or informed of prior to arriving and booking. As a 98kg male, I genuinely had a fear of my safety in some areas of the building. The irony of this hotel with rubbish everywhere, is they wanted a credit card from me to protect any damage in the room. Obviously I refused.

Only thing I can say about this hotel is avoid. None of the facilities worked, and even the restaurant was closed down; I guess that they must have had an inspection. It was very noisy with low flying aircraft and kids running up and down the corridors. The bedroom and bathroom were not clean. I can only hope that they changed the bedding before I arrived.

Awful hotel, went there expecting a 4 star hotel with good facilities and a pleasant atmosphere. Quite the opposite. REFUGEE HOTEL PLEASE AVOID STAYING AND BEING DISAPPOINTED. NO MENTION ANYWHERE OF THIS!!!! Black bags as soon as you walk in with many refugees staring and making us feel uneasy. Absolutely horrendous. Should not be a 4* hotel shouldn't even be available to the public to book. No mention at all that it was a refugee hotel, stay kept on avoiding the question. Felt like I was back in COVID times but worse. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Another business thats turned its back on hospitality for the governments hand outs. What was a great hotel has become a refuge camp. Empty car park. People loitering everywhere like a scene from The Living Dead. Even more zombies loitering in corridors and window ledges in hallways, making you feel very wary. Security staff inside the door just stare at you as you wait for a member of check in who took almost 10 minutes to arrive with little or no English. NHS staff sitting at tables, again ignoring you like you didn't exist, with black bags of god knows what strewn all around them. No facilities. No breakfast. Room was okay. But telling by the fridge sitting next to my bed, I guess I was just filling a gap before the next "TENANT" arrived. Then to add insult to injury, I parked my bus in the huge empty car park, not in any ones way and was charged £50 to get passed the exit barrier. What a complete dump. You should be ashamed of yourselves and your hand outs.

What a nightmare. The first red flag was the derelicts loitering outside the main entrance smoking unknown substances at 11 p.m. staring aggressively at incoming guests. The second red flag was the large pile of suspicious black bags strewn across the floor next to the reception desk. The ladies at the front desk were polite and professional. The third red flag was the many young men loitering in the hallways, sitting on window sills and floors, followed by the pungent cocktail of tobacco and marijuana odors. The room was large and tidy, but that did not make up for the general sense of unease, knowing you are sharing accommodations with primarily refugees and asylum seekers who are living there. When I book a hotel, I expect to be staying in a hotel and not a refugee camp. Overall, the place has potential if it were to be used as a hotel and not a refugee camp. I would absolutely NOT stay here if I were a solo traveler, a group without a male presence, or a member of the lqbtqia+ community. Stay safe.

When I arrived in London, the plane for my connecting flight was grounded due to mechanical failure. I tried to get a hotel at the airport but they were all filled up. I've never been to London before and had no idea which areas would be safe. I had to just start trying to find a room. I found one at Heston Hyde, but I could tell once I got to the area that this didn't look like a safe area. I got checked in, and the hotel smelled like smoke. I wasn't sure if there had been a fire or if it was just from the residents smoking there. My room didn't smell, but it was dated. When I went out for pizza at Farm Pizza, I felt scared and found a tree branch to use as protection. I also stayed in full view of surveillance cameras and ran, always watching behind me. When I got back to the hotel, there was a resident arguing with the security guard. I didn't stick around, just booked it to the room. A man at the pizza place told me the hotel was being used for immigrants and refugees coming into the country.

This Hotel is no longer a hotel its a centre to house refugees/ asylum seekers. Therefore should not be open to guests. Yes our room was fine but we were at different ends of the hotel to our daughters. They had strict instructions not to leave the room or answer the door. Many men just hanging about the corridors and outside. Rooms was clean and tidy, and as we were leaving early for a flight we just got our heads down for one night. A wedding was taking place on the ground floor but clearly no guests stayed over as the car park was empty at 7am. .

I stayed here June 2021 but felt I needed to come back and leave a review as I've stumbled across lots of bad reviews. Just wanted to say I had no complaints with my stay, the rooms are very spacious and clean, had no issues with hotel staff, the car park is huge and there's lots of space - it's great that this is included. I did notice there were lots of people hanging around and always on the phone around the reception area but didn't think anything of it, if anything it was nice that there were lots of people around when getting back to the hotel late. I had no idea that it was a place where asylum seekers were being held until reading these reviews and it makes sense now, but honestly knowing that makes no difference to me, just that perhaps I would need to be more conscious about COVID if visiting at the moment. I feel like a lot of the complaints are coming from the fact that people are simply uncomfortable with there being refugees at the hotel. Not surprised as this country is just full of subconscious racism.

We were thinking of giving this one star, however it’s fit our purpose so we went with two and got a good deal (too good to be true 🤦♀️) but Absolutely not a 4 star hotel!! Please be warned of this and read other negative reviews as it tells you all. We’re not sure how this is rated at 4. Beds have the biggest dips in them on both sides and aren’t comfy. Walls and lamp shades are covered in stains. Towels are off white/grey they should not be used any longer and are also miss matched. Really grubby looking - not a disaster but it’s not 4 star standard and you question the cleanliness. Made a cuppa tea and my tea was full of lime scale so the kettle has not been cleaned in a very long time and I was unable to drink it. No one was at reception on entrance and it was a while until we were greeted. They tried to charge us double the price and when we showed confirmation email they still weren’t sure they could check us in. Turns out they were looking at someone else’s booking even though they had printed our correct paper work out to check in. Whilst waiting for this to be resolved we noticed lots of people lurking around the hotel but the car park was empty. Very very peculiar atmosphere. We noticed Someone handing out sandwiches to a load of people in a queue and also a strange meeting point full of boards and papers attached to it in the lobby, really untidy looking not professional. Again not a great entrance to a 4 star hotel. Only from Reading other reviews we have discovered this is also a hotel for immigration arrivals from Heathrow, which isn’t specified any where. Again not an issue but the whole hotel just feels really odd and there is a lack of employees any where. Super eerie. Won’t be returning. And Hotel rating needs to be re evaluated.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Myself and my entire family stayed at this hotel Thursday 11th November and Sunday 14th November. Our stay was an absolute nightmare. The hotel has a strong and unpleasant smell between the corridors. There is only 1 pillow per bed. The AC did not work correctly. The water pressure in the shower is absolutely pathetic. The restaurant is closed and we were not allowed to even eat in the hotel lobby as guests!!!! This is a rescue site and there is no mention on this on the website either. I think you’re doing a great job by housing refugees however there should be a mention on your website as you did not allow us to eat unless it was in our rooms. I am in the process of compensation and refund for all of our rooms.

I stayed here with my partner for two nights. The "Hotel" is not fit for purpose. We felt like the only guests. There were a lot of other people there in the unfortunate circumstances as asylum seekers. Asylum seekers should be afforded their human rights for a safe environment to stay. However, for a hotel to operate within their facility is unfair on the asylum seekers and the hotel guests. Lobby/lifts are always busy with participants going up and down with the meals they are handed in the reception. There are about 50 bikes locked outside the hotel.. maybe some bike stands would come in use. I rang the day before and I was informed the pool was open.. it was not. We asked for a taxi to be ordered and we were handed a card. The morning of the first day five police officers entered the hotel and hotel staff took them to the first floor. The police van was parked right outside. We arrived back from the city at 18:30 on the second day and the hallway on our floor was flooded with bedsheets and towels. Based on the customer service and set up of the hotel with the bar, restaurant and pool closed, it should not be advertised as four stars. I see the hotel replies to some reviews. Please note my name or email will not be registered in your system as the booking was not made in my name.

Basically a immigration/refugee centre. Stayed on the 4/11/21 . We have stayed before whilst working in the area. This year we pulled up and the car park was empty which seemed strange. At reception there was various check in desks and notices in every language posted on the walls. It soon became apparent it was a holding center. This should be stated whilst booking. I strongly recommend you avoid the place. If it was not for the fact a work colleague booked I would have left. We both looked for other accommodation but nothing near was available. Absolutely disgusted at the behaviour of some of the people outside whilst checking in. Spitting on the floor whilst walking past and basically looking us up and down. The place is not safe if your thinking of stopping here. I do not care about the response from the owners as they will only play it down. This is fact. The place “SHOULD NOT” be letting out rooms to paying guests.

Booked by work for myself and colleagues. The website does state that the pool, leisure facilities, restaurant and bar are all closed. But I have to be honest this was missed as it is one line when you scroll down on the website. The rooms were serviceable, but not 4 star quality or condition by any means. I'm not 100% sure, but believe the hotel was operating as some sort of refuge, it most definitely didn't feel safe or secure. All in all it was an uncomfortable experience, I was reluctant to stay and very uncomfortable leaving my car in the car park. Whilst I only had to stay one night, my colleague decided to not stay the next night and book into an alternative hotel. I'll be visiting London again very soon with work, and will not be staying at the Heston Hyde.

Can't really fault it. We were there for an evening Punjabi wedding reception. The entrance is to the rear of the main reception. Canapes were served at the rear terrace. Due to events being delayed, we were outside for nearly 2 hours. To be fair, it was a lovely evening and a great opportunity to mingle and catch up with family after lockdown. The hall was well sized for the number of guests and the catering was brilliant. One of the best weddings I've been to in a while. The venue contributed to that experience, as did the DJ and the families having a good time.

Photo's that have been loaded by the hotel are misleading, maintenance is poor and there's clearly been a lot of cut corners. Air conditioning wasn't working, the room is big but looks very cheap. For the price, I'd recommend staying somewhere else. I gave it two stars, as parking is free and there's plenty of it, there's also nice soaps and coffee in the rooms. Message to the hotel staff: The rooms need to be sorted, or the price needs to be lowered. I was also disappointed that my free soap bar was thrown away after one use, the world is at a point where we need to cut down on wastage. The one soap bar could have lasted me the full two nights I stayed.

Who told me that the hotel was being used for such purposes. I should've checked with the management before posting. I apologise to the Heston Hyde Hotel for my mistake andI have changed my star rating from 3 to 4. Here follows my original review... Being used as a Covid quarantine hotel. Lots of tooing and frowing by the inmates. Saw several people leaving the hotel empty handed and coming back with 1, 2 and more shopping bags full of shopping. Clearly going somewhere to shop and breaking the quarantine rules. Also used by aircrew from Heathrow to rest up in. Go figure!!! It's a decent hotel otherwise nice tidy rooms, a gym and 20m leisure pool.

The back of the door in the room was dirty with all stains on it, which obviously needed a good clean. It was definitely not as clean as you'd expect for a 4* hotel. It was nothing like when we stayed previously. The bar and restaurant was closed too. I've stayed in better/cleaner premier inns. Definitely an asylum seeker hotel! Pulled up to numerous young men hanging around on pushbikes drinking beer outside the main entrance. Made us feel uncomfortable walking in. The room was OK but the air conditioning didn’t work on the hottest night so got no sleep. No facilities available. Couldn’t even get a cup of coffee and certainly no breakfast. Asylum seekers were collecting their breakfasts on paper plates and eating outside. Paying guests can’t get anything! This hotel denies its used to house asylum seekers and that is certainly a lie. The hotel website is misleading and the owner needs to be honest. Will NEVER stay there again. If you want to stay local, go somewhere else - anywhere. No doubt I’ll see a standard response from the owner who probably couldn’t care less about his paying guests

I'm afraid this once wonderful place has gone down hill (temporarily?). There are lots of people living there at the moment and I presume this is a good thing (refugees? I'm not sure). However, perhaps the owners could have chosen between the large number of people living there and people who are allowed to stay through work. I would even have been happy with just an advance notification when I called the hotel, at least I would have known beforehand... Writing on walls and doors, rubbish in corridors and used plates on the floor outside the rooms. I have nothing against anyone from anywhere and am glad places can serve as refuge whilst maintaining revenue (If this is what is happening) but more staff are clearly required for hygiene reasons. That's all, just more staff. I will be back but not in the near future.

I just stayed here for one night. Checked in at 11 pm on July 6. This is a vile hotel. The bed sheets had stains and little black hairs, seems as if the hotel neglected to change them between stays. The furniture in the room was “worn down” at best (cracks, holes, etc.). The bathroom was inappropriately unkept: there was a splatter of god knows what on the wall, the sink didn’t drain, and the walls were scuffed (I don’t even know how you can do that in a bathroom). At breakfast in the morning “clean plates” had food remains on them. I stayed here because my top 5 choices for an airport stay had all sold out and I would never come here again. Stay away this is FAR away from a “4” star hotel.

On top of that the bed I had smelt like vodka and the cleaning service didn’t bother to change the sheets after I had explicitly told them to. I believe that you just find another hotel, this one is arse

Booked a wedding function here for August 2020, however Amandeep the events director has seized to contact me for a refund. Government guidelines state no wedding functions to take place in the UK. I am now out of pocket off a substantial amount, for my wedding. I have tried contacting Amandeep Kaur (Director of keeping deposits) and Jorgen Rasmussen (general manager) without any replies for weeks now. Please can anyone that has had any issues please contact me and if anyone that wants to book a wedding here please avoid. I’m really sorry for asking. Please remember, do not trust what they say!! I have also viewed them both on LinkedIn and it is so unfortunate their bio does not match to their conduct.

The hotel itself is fine, nice facilities. Bed was fine and the room was clean. However, it seems to be a place where homeless/day labourers stay... there were always a lot of people hanging about in the lobby and out the front of the hotel in large groups smoking and talking. At least I had my fiance with me, if you are a woman travelling alone you must avoid this hotel. Did not feel safe. The hotel is not in a salubrious area. I chose it because I wanted to be relatively close to the airport without paying an exorbitant parking charge (parking here is free), and it had really good reviews, but the clientele here made it uncomfortable. Also we didn't have towels in our room so we asked for some at reception. They turned up 2 hours later (at 11:20pm, when we could have been asleep!) just when we thought they weren't coming. I wouldn't stay here again.

Spacious room with plenty of seating areas in small tables for 2 or larger groups. Most chairs are padded and comfortable. The menu was adequate and the food tasty & plentiful. I had noodles and thoroughly enjoyed it. At breakfast the chef will make your eggs and omelettes to order and there is also an wide variety of other hot & cold foods

The hotel refuses to give me a refund for when my trip had to be cancelled back in March due to the global pandemic. Even though I spoke to an employee and they told me I would get a refund. If you are looking for a place you can trust with your money, this is not one for you.

Trzy miesieczmy moj pobyt w hotelu to horror. Super. Spedzilem troche czasu na ulicy . Taka sobie pomylka.

The facility was of good standard. The experience I endured was horrific. Whilst exiting to the front of the property just after midnight to go for a smoke, there was a few other guys outside smoking who I then engaged in conversation with. In the time that I was outside smoking the other guests of the property were Play fighting and being rough, as a result of this a window was broken which I was completely oblivious to and had no part in. The unpleasantness of my stay started At 4.15AM that same morning, where My partner was woken up to 5 separate fees of: £1,000 at 4.14AM £500 at 4.15AM £400 at 4.16AM And then another £150 in two separate transactions; which were being attempted to take from my account. After waiting until a reasonable hour of the morning to leave my room, which was about 10am that morning, I was greeted to the staff at reception accusing me of having broken a window which was the first that I had been made aware of this. After nobody in reception was able to answer any of the questions I had in regards to the damage the responsibly and the fees, the most senior employee (at the time) rang and connected me with the General Manager of Heston Hyde Hotel, a man named Jurgen, who instantly after I said “hello” Rudely replied with “why did you break my window, you have to pay for it to be repaired”. Thereafter the general managers behaviour was appalling, he did not explain why I had been charged 5 separate fees amounting to more than £2000 at 4am in the morning and hung the phone up. Out of 7 different staff members, none of them were able to answer why I had been made responsible for the damage when it was guests of the hotel who were responsible. They had not explained why I had tried to be charged 5 times for those amounts and why it was at that time in the morning. Upon seeing the CCTV of the incident the only clear thing I am seen doing is entering the building after having a smoke, and this is the reason why they said I was responsible. Also they had insufficient evidence of the declined fees on my account. I had only 2 receipts of declined transactions for an amount of £1500 and had 2 remaining receipts of an amount of £400 missing which until now I am still worried about fraudulent activity. I was then connected On the phone with a man named Thomas who was the night manager and apparently the man who charged my account 5 separate times at 4am in the morning. Thomas was extremely rude and was looking for a way to extort somebody innocent and oblivious to the fact damage had been caused. I called the police to the property and had them assist in removing the fees off of my card and returning the £400 that had Successfully been charged in my account. Because of the lack of evidence in the CCTV footage and the only pictures of me being those of me walking back into the property the police were not willing to charge me or arrest me as I was deemed innocent. Upon speaking with the police and then evaluating the situation, I decided to leave and block my card so they couldn’t charge me. I had not provided and identifications upon staying. I had not signed or filled out a contract to stay at the property. I had only left my card details for the payment. Therefore by law I shouldn’t have been allowed in the hotel to stay but through the lack of attention and the sheer carelessness of the staff and services this was not picked up on and I was unfortunately able To stay in the property. I have stayed in the property multiple times and ensured no issues. After the horrible experience and the stress of having £1500+ being charged at my expense for no sufficient reason I would never even consider to stay at the property. The staff are rude and inexperienced, the senior staff took no responsibility and left the inexperienced staff to deal with the situation. In particular the general manager named Jurgen and night manager Thomas are definitely not competent and were Completely negligent

Everything is just fine as per standard except wifi coverage from room. City communication is a bit back ward. London under ground is far from hotel. Bus stop nearby. Groceries and food shops are 7 min walking distance from hotel. After last few visits in the hotel I found all of them forget to laugh, not even greet people. Restaurant staffs are rude, the front desk staffs are not cordial. Last visit I found Ms. Diana speaks with offensive words. I along with my friends were dumbfound at this.
