Great, well stocked branch with friendly, helpful staff

Individuals from Millers day services enjoyed a fabulous time, the staff supported the group brilliantly, thankyou. Everyone said they would love to visit again and take family and friends. Great facillities, plenty of room for wheelchair access and disablied toilets. Thankyou to the manager Mell.

Always a good selection but these days they should have a range of completely sugar free chocolates, at least of their best selling lines. If you are going to make chilli chocolates, put some chillies in them. Some of us like a bit of bite.

This is a lovely little shop stocked with the most wonderful of chocolate nicities. Also bought the Cacao gin with orange which is wonderful.

Popped here after brunch to take advantage of the VIP.ME bogof ice cream weekend. I love their ice cream and opted for a cone, with caramel topping, as did my friend. Lovely treat on a sunny afternoon...staff were friendly and the shop was busy without of customers all wanting their chilly treat too!

Very nice helpful staff but if you need Velvetiser chocolate it is useless. No sachets and limited choice of flavours. They are keen to get you to part with oner £100 for the machine and tell you not to make drinks with anything but their products but blame Covid for lack of stock. They have plenty of packs of chocolates though. My Velvetiser is now out of guarantee and I've only made 50 cups of chocolate with it.

A little pricey for an ice cream but definitely worth it.

I went today to Hotel chocolat in Beverley and purchased a ice cream, for my daughter and it was not satisfactory as it melted very quickly. Tasted not very nice. I fact she threw it in the bin. It has given her tummy ache. We paid £3.25 Would not go there again.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to hotel chocolat. Like all companies providing delivery services I have no doubt they're under immense pressure and workload during these times yet they somehow still managed to get our Easter Eggs to us on Easter Sunday. Having received some special chocs for my Birthday last year I put the Hotel Chocolate on my bucket list and wow chocolate heaven the choice is amazing and quality is the name of the game with friendly staff offering advice plus the bonus of the little cafe for a drink and a nibble

I love coming here, especially when getting myself a treat. Great selection of boxed chocolates for birthdays, anniversaries and everything in between. And the staff are helpful and friendly if you can't find what you want.

Had a chocolate drink in they cafe, it was delicious, smooth and not too sickly. I asked for my drink to be made in the velvetiser because I was interested in buying one, I think I will but now have to decide which colour to choose!

A visit to the Beverley shop is highly recommended, for a luxury gift or treat. The staff are welcoming with excellent communication skills. I was sorry I didn't have time to visit their cafe. The cups of hot chocolate are sadly of paper and the sizes offered are quite small for the price but in my view, it still offers the second-best hot chocolate available within Beverley town centre. It is a quality product although please note that seating at the rear of the shop is a little tight and somewhat limited. The service offered is friendly, efficient and very good. The chocolate free samples on offer were delightful and oozed quality. If you want to buy luxury chocolate products, there is much to choose from here. Choco-shakes: great for a treat…. occasionally! The ice cream is to die for. The shop is clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly. A delight to visit.

Chocolate place for chocolate lovers. A bit expensive but worth it. Coffee and hot chocolate very good. There is ice cream as well. Shop is very tidy, staff very polite and helpful.

Coffee good, small oblong of cake equally good but pricey, to be expected , with a large chain comes a large price, cafe area minuscule.

Staff most helpful as there is such a great selection also you get to sample the chocolates, there is also a nice little corner we’re you can sit and experience the different coffees and ice creams. Well worth a visit Yummy!!

Love this shop, but even more so as Christmas when all the treats take on a bit of a theme. Wreaths, Robins, penguins and all delights christmassy. Great for children, and big children too. Staff a great too, even in this busier time.

Can't resist popping here to get a chocolate fix. One of the smaller shops, it still has everything you need to satisfy your craving. Staff were really helpful and patient with me - a credit to the business. Will be back to pick some bits up for Christmas once all the Halloween chocs have gone!

If you are in Beverley and you are a chocoholic this is the place to go, the staff are friendly and very helpful nothing’s to much trouble.Dont forget to have one of their wonderful coffees or yummy ice creams.

I took my 3 year old grandson here for an ice cream. I managed to steer him past all the delicious looking chocolates in the shop to the small seating here at the back. We were served by a very pleasant young man who pointed out the offer of coffee for only £1.00 with any purchase from the shop including the chocolate brownies which were in the café. Although pre-packed the brownie was very good as was the coffee and ice cream. The reason I have only give 4* is the paper cup, would have preferred a proper one. Even so, I would go back.

If you love chocolate, you will love Hotel Chocolat. It’s a fancy store that specialises in chocolate. The decor of the shop is lovely, you would think you are in Paris. It is a really nice place to shop for gifts. They have a wide range of chocolate products, chocolate truffles, pasta noodles, ports, even oil and vinegars. They also have a coffee shop in the back of the store. The drinks are smaller than most coffee shop sizes so if you are looking for the standard size, you will be disappointed.

I love Hotel Chocolate! And was so pleased when they opened up here. Usually I end up in one of the York shops, so it was nice to have one closer. The shop is small, but still filled with all that you expect: boxes, bars both large and small, seasonal treats and of course, Easter eggs. Lovely shopand with the added benefit of a cafe to the back, somewhere to bring the husband!

Superb Belgian hot chocolate drink served

It's hotel chocolat pretty sure everyone knows what the deal is here. It's great chocolate, lots of choices. Some reasonably off the wall things, but the only downside are the usual hotel chocolat prices.

As you walk in the aroma chocolate engulfs you the range of products are great either as gifts or just self indulgence highly recommended

I fancied a takeaway hot chocolate and decided to give Hotel Chocolat a try for the first time. lovely service with a huge smile and the most choclatey hot choclate I have ever tasted. Watching it be made with heaps of real chocolate I would say it was worth every penny, this was luxury in a cup. Lots of choice too , depending on your taste in chocolate, I opted for the classic.

The chocolate is good but pricey.

We were after a late afternoon hot drink on a Saturday. but rather than go for a standard coffee shop, we spotted that this upmarket choclatiers has a small cafe at the rear. There is only seating for about a dozen customers, but you can chose from a wide variety of coffee, and of course hot chocolate options. Customers next to us had extravagant seasonal Christmas specials which looked scrumptious but very high calorie. I had a mocha with hazelnut. The prices for the drinks are a bit more than your normal coffee shop , but the options available are also more specialist and extravagant.

Once you have tried this chocolate everything else tastes overly sweet and sickly and leaves an unpleasant taste in your mouth. The milk chocolate is just divine. Special thanks to the staff at Beverley, they are lovely. Why shouldn't they be , working with chocolate! !

This is the best chocolate maker around, period. This is Dubai airline compared to EasyJet Thornton chocolate.fabulously rich in flavour and silky smooth. Dark chocolate that is bitter and smooth. This is not oversweet or gritty chocolate at all. The bat box had 145g (18) individually wrapped 70% dark chocs. Gorgeous. The poison box had Halloween cocktails and the carrot cake one tasted better than a m&s carrot cake!! We got the taste of carrot, cinnamon and walnut with the frosting in layers that were sublime. 18 quid is a bit expensive but my word, it's the caviar of chocolates.
