The food I received last night was disgusting, it had been cooked and cooked and cooked again, at one point I had trouble identifying what I was eating. Shameful and this place is not cheap, it all ended up in the bin

Overall very good take away. Staff could be friendlier. Only cash when you order in the shop could be a pain as nearest ATM is about 15-20 mins away.

I am a regular customer of hot wok and the egg noodles are thin noodles, which is different from other stores. Some stores use thick egg noodles, and everyone has different tastes, so it is impossible to meet all customers' requirements. However, I have ordered food in hot wok for so many years, and the food tastes have never changed，like alway good .The open kitchen allows customers to see the food preparation process more clearly

Used to be nice food. Last time was a while back. Noodles were tasteless and hardly any chicken Prawn dish had a horrible taste and as for Thai green curry Was runny as hell and had a horrible taste with the chicken bits an unusual shape and chewy. Never again didn’t ring to complain as I thought I’d be wasting my time. Oh and to top it all all staff dressed in joggers and some wearing coats serving. Ps don’t understand why they only take cash

Terrible terrible food, spring rolls were similar to Iceland quality and had a weird taste with arriving soggy. Noodles were poor with hardly any meat. Rice was similar to microwave rice but came stale and not fried. Curry sauce was watery and weird. Called up to complain but was met with defiance that they've been in business for 10 years so we must be wrong and we're not a regular customer. I'm gonna assume they won't be around for another 10. Avoid at all costs

This used to be the best Chinese takeaway with amazing food. But has changed owners a few times now and as a result is pretty terrible. Such a shame as it used to be amazing. Vegetarians should be aware that dishes marked as 'vegetarian' are cooked in the same oil they cook meat dishes, so aren't vegetarian at all.

As this is a takeaway I can’t rate service or atmosphere but this used to be the best takeaway in the area.However our recent order produced salty and greasy food with low quality ingredients.Hopefully it will get better but at the moment it should be avoided

Absolute rubbish, ordered ‘bang bang chicken’ and what we got were processed chicken (I.e not proper chicken meat but the bernard Mathews type stuff) in satay sauce. This place used to be good but has been declining over time. Tonight’s effort was frankly an insult to Chinese cooking. I would suggest you avoid.

I had a takeaway from them yesterday for the 1st time and I got food poisoning. I’m in A&E now waiting for treatment. BE AWARE!

Decent food I used to live about 2 minutes away from this place, the meal was hot and fresh, not the best, but not the worst. It was alright, try it if you want.

This was our go to and I’m sure they’ve changed owners. I’ve ordered twice over the last month and it’s horrible and nothing like how it used to be.

Food arrived 2 hrs after being ordered only because after failing to contact them by phone i sent an email. The food arrived and was nice but missing my favourite dish! When i called back i was told the kitchen is closed and 'next time' . No option for a refund... shocking service

I have ordered here a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Mongolian lamb, crispy duck, sweet and sour chicken balls, lemon chicken, ginger and garlic brockley. It’s all so fresh and delicious. They cook the food in front of customers, always so clean and fresh and cooked to order. I’ve never been disappointed. Once they had a teenage boy on the till and he was pretty rude, questioning my choice of food and pulling a face, but he was a teenager and clearly a member of the family, these things happen! Teenagers eh!! But otherwise very friendly staff. Five star!

Last time I went here i bought salt and chilli squid and it wasnt even seasoned. Went to return it and got a load of abuse from the woman behind the counter and told to never come back. Then a big bloke came up to me and asked me to go outside with him.. I went outside and walked off. Thought about calling the police but didnt want the agro as all they would do is lie anyway so what's the point...avoid this place big time !!!

First time trying this place, I phoned up and ordered but they couldn’t deliver so I offered to drive and collect, because it was only down the road, friendly service to your face before you pay but once I got home and dished my food, realising that they got my order wrong. I phoned up to let them know, they was rude and unhelpful. I asked if they could please deliver the correct meal, they told me that they would deliver but it would be about 45 minutes...almost 3 hours later and I still haven’t received my correct order and I’m still hungry. Would highly NOT recommend.

This Chinese always taste great - it's full of flavour and portions are decent, some could argue it's the best one in the area. However, if you're looking for a healthier chinese.. this is not the one. The food is cooked with a lot of oil and MSG which does always make me feel a bit sick afterwards. In the past this shop had a 0 rating for food hygiene and even know I believe it has changed it makes me feel uncertain. Average.

first time ordering from this place, I was excited and willing to pay their inflated prices and delivery fee because I love bang bang chicken. Over an hour after my order I contact the, to see where my delivery is only to find they tried delivering it to an old address! they then tried charging me another delivery fee to bring it to my current address!! no thank you. horrible customer service, wouldn’t recommend

Ordered a takeaway which was delivered quickly but that was almost the only good thing. The starters like the satay chicken, prawn toast, etc were ok. The crispy duck on the other hand was so over cooked and dry that we ended up throwing away most of it as it was inedible. The Thai green curry was more of a gloopy green soup and again ended up throwing most of it away. At least they didn't mess up the sweet and sour chicken.

Good clean food but too slow on delivery

Food was late, was told half an hour to forty five minutes. We waited 2 hours for mediocre food!! Must of had a change of chef because the quality has gone down. Won't be using them again.

One of the best Take Away restaurants in Enfield. Always quality. The front of house cooking set the trend in the area. Fast Food and good quality ingredients. I've never heard anyone disappointed of the results. One of my personal favourites.

Told me delivery would be within the hour. Took an hour and forty minutes (not the first time this has happened). When it arrived there were no pancakes for the crispy lamb pancakes. The sweet and sour chicken balls turned out to be pork balls. Worth keeping in mind if you're Jewish or Muslim...they were unsympathetic on the phone. Told me manager would not let them give a full refund, only items that were wrong. Ten minutes on the phone and they then said they woukd give a full refund if they came and collected the whole meal. I called their bluff and said they could and then they backtracked and refused full refund. Terrible terrible customer service. Do not use.

worst Chinese take away ever! i ordered shauzhaun prawns and guess what, seemed like the prawns had just been thrown in ready made sauce! something out of a supermarket! black bean chicken was no better definitely re-heated chicken, with the order arriving in just 15 MINUTES it simply confirms that these meals are not freshly made to order, save your money unless you like steamed rice on its own.

Please stop putting your leaflets through my door when you have a 2 on the Food Hygiene Rating scale with a Food Hygiene and Safety rating of Poor. Anyone can check this on the scores on the doors website. Ordered from here in the past before I knew about the hygiene problem... Portions are really small and prices are high.

Good quality of food and large portions

Ordered sweet and sour chicken which was bright (almost neon) orange and tiny lumps of chicken, flavour was overpowering and definitely too much sugar. I didn't enjoy this unfortunately.

I have been ordering from here for many years and am always very happy with the quality of the food, speed and service. Often only takes them five minutes to order something simple when walking in or fifteen to twenty minutes for an order for four people. A happy, local, dependable Chinese fast food takeaway with modern outlook and styling. Definitely recommend.

This should get 0 Waited 1hour and half for food to turn up which was stone cold driver said do u want half price we were so hungery so said yes but when open order one dish was missing and one was wrong So called up and said they will send a new order within 40 mins so we didn't eat as wanted nice fresh meal tried calling but they had phone off the hook when got through she said they weren't sending it no longer as kitchen was closed spoke to manger and he said they had been busy Placed order at 7:30pm in a Monday and 11pm I have no food

28 quid for a food looking size portions. .only to see Special chow mein had ONE piece of pork.. TWO DRY BITS OF BEEF.. a piece and a half of Chicken.. and to take the piss 6 Bits of Squid(I think it was squid) Very upset BECAUSE I DO NOT EAT SQUID! WITH THE BE ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE EVER...
