Decent pub for a quick drink but the food is of very poor quality. Ordered some nachos for the table and nobody dared touching it. (The guacamole was literally frozen). Someone else ordered a burger with chips and it looked like they threw it on the plate.

Booked a few tables for 20+ people 2 weeks in advance. Absolutely no fuss, £40 deposit that I could then use behind the bar which was great for proving snacks for people. Cauliflower wings with siracha mayo were incredible. Dj made some weird selections but nice vibes all round. Some security were a bit intense but mostly really friendly

£7 for 1 mushroom spread across 2 tacos ?? Rip off

Fine but nothing special. Disappointed that some offers shown in the menu (e.g. 2-4-1 cocktails) weren't running in December, but there was nothing to indicate that until we were told by staff at the bar.

This use to be a good pub where a group of 30 plus friends met for Wednesday Wings . The new owner manager is rude and grumpy He hassled us to buy drinks , we couldn’t even wait till all of us arrived. Wednesday Wings Was great but now the sauces cost extra !! We have now decided to take our cocktail drinking , wings eating , weekly catchups elsewhere . Very short sighted ! Soz

Food was really good, served quickly (there was no-one else eating though), the ladies behind the bar were great, the first barman (and that's being generous) needs sacking frankly. Couldn't pull a pint, offered the non-drinker a pint of soda stained with the tail end of the coke syrup and said "try it anyway", beer was sour, 3 of the lines were down and the entire place was cold, somehow all the tables were booked though. No idea what they served them. Genuinely decent and interesting pub let down by 1 poor staff member and a lack of stock (bearing in mind this was a Saturday night with the Rugby World Cup final on).

The Karaage Kid chicken burger was amazing. It's crispy chicken with coleslaw and a little bit of spice. Five stars for that. The fries are like twigs though, those need an upgrade. I came here to watch a football game and I'm glad I did - there are loads of screens and lots of seating. Good beer selection too. Will definitely be back.

The food was disappointing. We ordered the Fish & Chips, and the loaded pulled beef style fries - it took around 25mins for the food to arrive which would have been okay if they came to the table fresh.... The loaded fries (£9) ended up becoming one solid piece glued together with cheese as though it was sitting aside for a while & lukewarm (pic attached). The fish & chips seemed overcooked. The fish was over fried on one side and piping hot vs the colder fries on the plate. The menu said "skin on fries" but they were just freezer McDonald's style fries. It was not a classic pub style meal at all - and definitely not worth the £15. The service from the guy at the bar was great and apologized but we had already pre-paid at the bar.

Charming traditional London Pub. We didn't eat there, however they had a good collection of craft beers I couldn't resist London Pride which was in perfect condition. The barman knew all about how to cellar.real ales and it showed in the product

Love the outside area and decent beer selection but there are crimes against chicken wings being committed here. Beyond disgusting - if you like wings, avoid at all costs.

Ahora es Cerrado y no es una sorpresa!

He estado aquí un par de veces en la semana, el restaurante está cerrado con la comida que se sirve en la zona de pub, que no estoy demasiado interesado en sabor pero PILLA a personal.

Me parece recordar el Green Dragon siendo un agradable pub muy bonito, un poco como el Salisbury bajando la calle, pero eso ha cambiado. Parece que se volvieron locos con la pintura negra uno Halloween, bien la parte trasera parece haber evitado. Así que las bebidas, ¿qué hemos lager, lager, sidra, lager, lager y luego dos mano sofá bombas, " ¿qué son", "Lo siento que no funciona, nosotros no tenemos ninguna Ale, lager". Así que este lugar no estará en la lista de CAMRA esperábamos impacientes entonces. Así que subimos a un restaurante completamente vacío (sábado por la noche! ), y se nos pide "hemos reservado? ". Teníamos una recogida de las mesas, y nos las arreglamos para contener nuestra risas hasta el camarero nos dejó. La comida estaba bien, me sentía como que tiene comida preparada y calentar su trabajo, pero en una habitación con 3 m entre las mesas no era el mejor entorno. Así que resumen, buena comida, pero pobre entorno y no ale. Buena suerte en permanecen abiertos.

La competencia por este pub para la comida ha crecido recientemente llevándolos a la escala de satisfacción. Comida del almuerzo normal, pero caro para el estándar. Incluso había leafblower ir en el jardín de la cerveza en el servicio de almuerzo conducir los pocos clientes dentro vacíos por personal - dice algo.

Habiendo estado aquí muchas veces a lo largo de los años y siempre tener una comida estupenda. Me quedé sorprendido con la calidad de la comida, que tenía un aroma distintivo de "hervir en la bolsa" y el servicio es muy lento. Otros amigos han notificado experiencias similares. No volveremos.

Llegamos esta noche (01/09/2014) con una persona y conocimos a otros 4. Nos subimos a comprar dos bebidas alcohólicas junto a fuera shisha en el jardín de la cerveza. Esto era de aproximadamente 9:30 :45. Por el momento en el que nos sentamos para reunirse y saludar a los amigos y pedir la shisha, alrededor de las 23:00 9:50 dijeron por un camarero el pub estaba cerrando a las 10:00 pm a pesar las señales en las instalaciones y en línea indicando sus horas cierre era 11:00. Nos preguntó y comentamos con el miembro del personal que respuesta era que «es demasiado tranquilo, así que estamos cerrando'. Así que como consumidor pedimos hablar con el gerente para resolver el problema de manera justa (I. e - pedir un límite fijo de tiempo para terminar nuestras bebidas y shisha (20-30 minutos sería razonable).

Llegamos en el pub alrededor de las 9, pedimos unas bebidas en 9,30 9,40 shisha (6:00) y me dijeron que teníamos 20 minutos para llegar y salir! Nos dijeron que decide cuando el pub cierra y armado un lío y nos hizo salir. Pedí hablar con el gerente y el bar hombre llegó y habló con nosotros y Pretendió ser el gerente y cuando pedimos hablar con el gerente me dijo que estaba en la planta de arriba y muy ocupado! Hay signos de que claramente decir el pub cierra a las 11 de la noche. Estoy absolutamente maravillado por la mala educación de el personal esta incluido el hombre del bar con vasos, otro hombre de bar (mediterráneo, con ojos azules) y la chica que trabaja en el bar que estaba sentado en el jardín de la cerveza charlando con el otro hombre del bar todo el tiempo. No volveré aquí. Pagué por shisha que estaba iluminado por 20 minutos. Pésimo servicio

The service was terrible, there was not enough staff on the bar, we had to wait 20mins each time to get a drink. When we complained to the manager his attitude was even worse. Not recommended.

Yo a veces vienen aquí en mi pausa para el almuerzo en el trabajo con colegas y nos encanta. £7.95 por una copa de vino (o un refresco) y un curry es una ganga. La comida sabe muy bien y el personal es amable. Comida siempre sale rápidamente. Volveremos próximo día de pago!

When we visited a couple of years I remember the food as being very good. This time around it was OK, but nothing special.The restaurant is upstairs in the pub and run as a separate unit. Initial service was very good with a Thai making very helpful suggestions as we worked our way through the menu. As a result we avoided ordering what would have been too much.We probably made a mistake with the shredded duck starter for both of us. It was rather dry and not up to the standard of most Chinese restaurants. As to the main courses, the red curry was good but the other dish was uninspiring.There are plenty of beers available, both draft and bottled. We chose a wine which was OK but a bit pricy. Towards the end of the meal the service fell away and we had a job getting the bill.I can't say it was bad, and I did get a good Tastecard discount, but I won't be rushing back.

I had an awful meal at the Green dragon, on Sunday 2nd MarchCame at approx 7pm, the pub downstairs was quiet yet still waited for around 5 minutes to be told to go upstairs.Got seated etc, ordered drinks, all OK thus far.The barmaid who brought the drinks up, proceed to spill Guinness all over the table, didn’t clear it up and then said "here's the other drink, I don’t know what it is, I didn’t take your order" and waltzed off. We ordered a Dragon Platter and the Tod Mun Kau Pod (Sweetcorn Fritters). The fritters were extremely dry and looked, tasted and felt like stale biscuits. Dragon platter was all OK apart from the satay chicken, which was under seasoned, dry and had no satay sauce.One main course was OK, a prawn panaeng with rice. Although I am suspicious as to how this was prepared due to the dryness of the sauce around the edge of the bowl (similar to that you get when warming something up in the microwave), but it was mine that really infuriated me.The weeping tiger is supposed to be a succulent piece of sirloin steak, delicately seasoned with Thai spices with a nice kick to it.What turned up was a dry, burnt, shrivelled steak, with not a drop of seasoning (even salt) that had been thrown on top of semi raw white onions. I sent this back immediately and ordered a Thai Red Chicken Curry, which was watery and again the chicken was pale and tasteless. When the waiter delivered this replacement main course, he did not even make an apology on behalf of the chef.I will categorically NEVER EVER return to eat or drink at the Green Dragon – we felt like uninvited guests in someone’s back room.

Visited this pub at 4pm on Saturday 4th January. Nobody serving at the bar! Quickly realised that the barman was outside having a cigarette with who I think might be a waitress. Decided to leave after waiting for 5 minutes. Plenty of nearby alternatives.

We went here for dinner with 6 people. Our evening ended up turning into a scene from a sit-com. We arrived at the resturant unclear where we where supposed to go so we wandered upstairs following the resturant signs. At the top of the stairs we were met by an empty room, some loud house music and a man with a hands free kit. We were told the resturant was closed due to a private party. Confused, we went downstairs to enquire at the bar. What unfolded from here was bizarre.We went back upstairs to the resturant, the private party in the next room involved very loud house music, which increased every time the door opened. The only waitress was unwell and emotional and burst ino tears when we asked what drinks they had. She disappeared and we (and the only other table in the whole restaurant) decided that we were leaving. We discussed our unhappiness with the bar staff but they really couldn't have cared less. On a tip off we went next door to Mozz which was great and helped us salvage the evening! Avoid at all costs due to the bizarre set up, non-existent customer service and unprofessional management (not the waitress; we all have bad days). Can't comment on the food as we didn't make it this far!

I was surprised to read some of the reviews below, as I've now been to this restaurant twice and had an excellent experience on both occasions.My mum was down for the weekend, so I wanted somewhere local, and I booked a table here for 3 of us. There was no problem getting in (it wasn't too busy - just 4 or 5 other tables occupied) at 7ish, and the waitresses were attentive. We ordered mixed starters & chicken satay, which were both good, and then green thai curry & the fish (I can't remember which fish it was - but it was sumptuous!) for mains.The food was top notch - not cheap, but worth it.I'd definitely return, and I'd urge those below to give it another chance.

An hour and a half wait for food! Reason why was because they were very busy in the restaurant up stairs. Don't serve food in the pub if you can't cope with a full restaurant! They don't deserve the business and I won't be returning in a hurry.

I should not have believed it possible that a British pub would not have bitter on tap until I visited the Green Dragon. Lots of lager, the staff were fine and they do good chips, but NO PROPER BEER, Unforgivable!

I had eaten at this pub many times when it was "Jim Thompsons" Thai restaurant. I had always enjoyed the food and the service/ambience. I returned very recently and found that it was under new management. The food was terrible - chicken and beef satays were so tough I could not eat them. The rest of the food was just as bad. My big regret was that I had decided to give this place a try rather than my usual meal at Kampung just down the road. Never again.

Me and my friend who have both grown up in the area all our lives went to Have a drink there on Saturday night (both aged 28). If I'm honest it's probably one of the worst pubs that I've been too. For the following reasons.1. The bar staff don't recognise who is next in line to be served, allowing people to push in and get served before others that have been waiting.2. The pub is far to packed for the amount of staff they have3. The pub seems to attract all of the local filth. Mutton dressed as lamb seems to spring to mind for the girls and spoilt little daddies boys seems to reflect the guys nicely. Both bought together for their love of shiney things and attitude.4. The bar prices are also pretty high (central London Prices). You are looking at about £8.00 for two pints of beer.5. The decor is also looking a bit shabby. As you walk in to the pub you are greeted with a Thai figure head that actually looks like birds have gone to town on its face, or maybe a scene from Pukaki movie.So to sum up, this pubs is aweful!

As a pub , the Green dragon his a local landmark that goes back generations they once had a CAMRA recommendation as I recall. However things have moved on and now you can only get lager served , The pub is more for the younger visitor and to be honest I found it a bit tatty despite being a "themed" interior. I have eaten here a couple of times before and it was acceptable whilst not fantastic. This time it was not good at all. The food was not the best tasting Thai food that I ever had and the service was appalling. The staff themselves were , to be honest , doing their best but it seems that the level of staff doesn't come anywhere near the number required for a higher than average priced pub eatery. One of our meals never arrived and so three of us started before the food that e we had got cold. Eventually one of us went to see where the fourth meal had got to only to be told that the kitchen couldn't actually provide the meal. Heaven knows how long we would have had to wait to be told this had we not enquired ourselves. My guest had to make do with another dish which then arrived , as I say, somewhat late. Ok , so we got a reduced bill and a proper apology from the waiter but like I said, I wouldn't rush back there. I don't really thing that even if the food had been brought out as ordered it would make me change my mind. At best the food doesn't come up to the price.

The Green Dragon is a big pub with lovely outside area. My partner wanted a relaxed "do" for his 40th, where his family and friends could hang out and celebrate with him. The manager, Martin, arranged a decent inside and outside section of the pub, which didn't cost anything to hire. It meant though that we could have our own dedicated bit of bar and a tab which would be safe from other customers, plenty of room to sit and for the kids to draw and play, our own toilets, and seating whether it was sunny or raining. We were able to decorate the venue beforehand and they stored our cake and brought it out later with candles lit. Martin also arranged for a BBQ, with a member of staff to cook it for us and clear up. The bar had music, but Martin also made an iPod dock available so we could have our own music too if we wanted.My partner said it was the perfect party and we all had a brilliant day, so I would recommend it!!
