I have tried many fish and chips in the area! This is the best! Did not try all the food on the menu but everything we have ordered was yummy! Great portion and reasonable price! Highly recommend 👌

Food always great, and happy to make slight adjustments eg make a dish spicy or remove an ingredient. Great option for one is House Special Chow Mein - large portion with mixed meets and around 5 large prawns. Not tried their fish and chips yet.

Amazing freshly cooked to order fish and chips from Ho’s. The best in Fleet (I’ve tried them all). Nice crispy batter on the fish which was well cooked and good quality. And some of the best chips I’ve ever had - nice and thick cut with a crisp outside and soft potato inside, not at all soggy - perfection of the fried potato chip. Fantastic value too. Huge portion of chips and the fish must have looked a bit small so the lady gave me two decent size pieces for the standard regular price. Cod, chips and mushy peas cost £10.10 which is probably the cheapest in town. Friendly efficient service, highly recommended. I will definitely buy from here again.

Never had a bad meal from here, whether that’s fish n chips or Chinese. We love the Singapore noodles (which come as a big portion), but frankly everything is good and all portions are big.

As an American, I wasn’t familiar with how to tell the difference between a good fish and chips or bad until tonight. Out of all the F&C’s I’ve had since living here, this place by far was the best! Definitely lives up to the hype and worth the wait! 😋

This place was a nice little find! Staff were very busy but courteous. Large Fish and Chips with Curry Sauce... one of the better takeaways I have had in a long time. Very lovely. Would highly recommend. One thing to note is that they only take cash.

My wife and I would rather get a take-out from Ho's than go to a Chinese restaurant! Their pork with pickled coleslaw is devine, Singapore rice sticks are amazing etc etc. A no brainer for us.

Gluten free Chinese! I didn't have Chinese for almost a decade after being diagnosed with Coeliac disease, so you can imagine my delight and gratitude to Ho's Fish Bar for doing gluten free food! Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style is delicious!

Ordered a takeaway and it was the worst I've ever had, it was cold, raw vegetables, I had a chicken chow mein which had carrots in it, the chicken tasted like it was days old, the Singapore noodles had no chilli in it, all we could taste was salt, had to get a refund, will never order from there again, veypoor foodcould taste was salt

Fish and chips are usually really good and some Chinese dishes too. A had a couple of times unpleasant prawn curry but I passed my feedback to the staff and since then, it has been really good. The problem is that is extremely busy on Fridays between 5.00-800pm so you have to wait approx. 20-25 minutes for your order. And when is raining and cold, it is not very nice standing outside. Staff should be firmer on asking customers to wear face masks as it is small shop.

For an establishment that has been family run for over 40 years, it serves really good quality food. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Both sides of the service (fish and chips | chinese) always come out cooked to order and is always tasty.

Ordered special fried rice very bland all taste same whatever the sauce was.... Cicken and cashews was same bland sauce....

I got Recommended this place from a friend . They didn’t have what I normally eat on the menu but they went out of their way and made it for me! The staff was friendly and brilliant . And the food was also amazing . 10/10 highly recommend going here .

Best fish and chips in the area, huge portions, great flavour, not too soggy or dry. Prices have gone up a bit in the last couple of years and cash only but it is still the best.

I only go here now and then because it's so close to home. They only ever want cash which is a pain so I have to go to a cash point first. They cook food quickly and the staff always seem fairly decent but the food is sometimes over cooked! I ordered salt chilli prawns and the batter was soft and floppy. The Peking style chicken was very dark coloured and over cooked. The chicken was not tender, it was slightly tough round the edges. Will stick to a short drive in future

Ho's is a relatively exceptional little takeaway. We have had Chinese before and decided to do a chippie lunch so have it a go. Chips were cooked perfectly, sausages were hot tasty and the 1/4 chicken was sublime. Onion rings were so hot (temperature not spice) they should have had a health warning!!! 🤣 Will I go back, 100% yes Price? 2 large sausages, 1/4 chicken 2 lots of chips, onion rings, gherkins? & A couple of drinks & change from a £20... I'd say that's pretty good too!

Rare to get a Chinese takeaway with chip shop and both to be great. Staff so friendly and helpful too. Even opened 10 mins early for me once. Food is very generous portions too.

We always get food from Ho's and have always done! The food is always piping hot and so delicious and they are so friendly. It's delicious food for really good prices, not over charged at all. Would definitely recommend a takeaway from here - never had a problem with it and food always been spot on!!

Not the best... chips were lovely but fish was in the hardest batter I've ever seen. Also ordered a Chinese meal which could really have done with some flavour, it was like eating air. Sadly can't recommend.

Didn't get what we have ordered, chicken dish smelt and tasted of vinegar. Chicken was tasteless and old. Unfortunately our dinner went into the bin, could wat it.

They do good chips! They Don’t have a card machine which is crazy as we’re about to hit 2020 and most places have contactless and they don’t even have a basic card machine. Good overall though.

Decent chips, fish can be a bit hit and miss and they use the same batter that they use for their sweet and sour chicken balls. Not sure it works with the fish.
