Hornimans in Lewisham

This is probably one of my favorite go-to spot when traveling to London. Great pies and awesome service. Hassam and Segum are by favorite my favorite bar keepers. They’re friendly and professional.

Jo is an exenlente staff who helped me a lot during the service. And also Diana who helped me a lot as well after all. Good job to kitchen for offering such good food!!!

Granted it was busy, but service was disjointed. Allergy alternative nacho was ridiculous small given the the price and size of normal meal.

Great experience, amazing service very quick and lovely service. Couldn’t ask for a better person to serve my drinks and made my day

This the third time I have visited to have a meal...the previous two times the meals were fine....so I decided to bring a Family member recently. There wasn't any problem with the coffees or service....but my sandwich was just awful...the fish goujon was soggy and greasy...and the chunky chips were also soft and soggy. I was really disappointed and it has put me off going there again. I have had sandwiches in other pubs and they were excellent with generous fillings...the sandwich I had there was thin and quite frankly over-priced.....

Decent spot in the Thames ,nice ambiance so ordered food and drinks, nonissues with timings , received what appeared a home made pie it’d either been microwaved or sat for hours , hard and dry with not so fresh fries the highlight was two strips of carrot , just really poor quality

Find you own table, order online or at the bar. 4 meals were served in three stages, no cutlery. Servers were unpleasant. Won’t be back.

A non-trip advisor friend made a booking for a river front table, but when we arrived, was told that the river side tables cannot be booked in advance and placed us under a staircase where some of the group were liable to suffer head injuries...

Back on london for business and back to Hornimans for fish and chips and cold beers on the riverbanks.

My husband and I called in for a glass of wine. We went for the malbourough Sauvignon and it can out lovely and cold. We quickly had that and ordered a bottle. It was lovely sunny day which helped the wine go down.

Saturday riverside pub crawl started at Hornimans. Lovely couple of pints and juicey burger to get the day started.

A lovely dog friendly pub on the Thames i between London Bridge and tower bridge. Good selection of beers and gins

The sun was out at last so we headed for the river to get a cool breeze and watch the boats go up and down. Got a great table right on the riverside. Stayed for hours

Working upstairs from Hornimans we use this pub a lot. The outside gets so busy but once you have a table it’s great. Ordering from the App and views over to the city are great. Usually a nice breeze too

Weekend back in london and we went to the Hays Galleria to check out the bars and restaurants. Pre drinks in Hornimans which were good and off to cote next

Getting the train home and the station was packed so made a quick diversion to the pub for a few pints :)

I like this riverside pub as there’s loads of seats outside ( and inside ) and it’s super handy for me getting the train home out of London Bridge station. There’s always plenty of staff on and you get served quickly even when it’s busy.

The food was decent but nothing special. Drinks were ok. Service was ok but you need to order through the website (no table service). Overall the place lacks a good vibe and I’ve been to better pubs.

We work within the Galleria and use the pub most weeks. The staff are a friendly bunch. The food and drink are always decent too.

This place always seems to be busy. This is the second time I’ve been and I really like the pub. It’s simply a good pub.

Hornimans has become my favourite riverside pub. Always plenty of staff on so served quickly. More efficient than friendly but that suits me !!

The overhanging dining room is fantastic, it offers a view down the bar and across the river. Very welcoming and tasty food. Will return.

I came here to celebrate my 30th and hired the basement bar which was great. Own bar away from the crowds and we could play our own tunes and dance.

Walking along the river the heavens opened and we dashed for cover. Ordered a couple of drinks and ended up staying for lunch which was very good.
