Hops in Nottingham

Very rude and obnoxious woman working there. Definitely wouldn't recommend 😕 Didn't get to try the food

Hippie ambient. Nice cops and nachos. After eat you can take a look the vintage stuff they have.

A lovely place to sit and have something to drink. You can have either tea or beer together with several kinds of snacks.

I love calling in here after work for a chill out beer. The staff are so friendly and the music is great 10/10 for this place, its my favourite bar.

Service very very slow, waited in a queue for absolutely ages. Had door pegged wide open despite its being freezing outside, extremely uncomfortable for those sat inside. Whole experience was poor, obviously not even trying as due to location they get lots of foot traffic. Watched at least 10-12 people walk in and then walk out while seated because the queue just did not move.. wait for my sandwich was obscene, 30 minutes for a sausage sandwich? Jesus

Great place to rest after busy day! Quirky with unique nice relaxed atmosphere. Place is based inside of Hopkinsons antique store which makes it even more interesting. Teasty food, nice coffe and friendly staff. I will come back in evening to try coctails and beer ..

Only doesn't get 5 star because the loos are on the top floor. It's by the station what do you do with all your luggage or if you use a wheelchair? Good coffee relaxed and comfy

Nice coffee, nice many other things, go visit this place, enjoy the drink, and the merchandise too, and the nice staff, 12 August 2022 the place is almost full, The place is beyond hot, and we couldn't sit inside, had to sit out in the sun, I hope they will air condition the place soon, The nice coffee I had last visit, is no more available, I had a tasteless coffee

Very poor service. After spending 10 minutes in a queue of 3 to be served. An off duty staff member jumped the queue and was served ahead of me. When I queried why I was told if I didn't stop complaining I would be barred. Extremely aggressive young lady who stated it didn't matter as the person she served was a colleague. Absolutely no self or social or business awareness. I'm sure they won't miss my custom but I will not be back. At age 60 I've never felt so disgusted iny dealings with peopke

First visit after work on a Friday and was surprised how busy it was, although the sun was out. Service wasn't that fast and I ended up drinking G&T out of a champagne glass, just didn't feel right 😊 but a very quirky great place worth a visit. And with a mixed group of customers, if passing drop in.

Really like chilling out side here either alone or with friends. Great stop of before catching your train,friendly staff. Could do with more tables outside.

Wasn't impressed with our visit today. Firstly, I asked for a jacket potato but they'd forgotten to put them in the oven. So when I asked if anything else was gluten free I was told 'I don't think so, we're pretty bad for it'. I asked if the nachos were gluten free and even when reading the ingredients on the tortilla chips, the staff weren't sure what they were looking for. I find this a little concerning when it is a legal requirement to be able to provide full allergens for all food. Once food was ordered (3 toasted baguettes and 1 nachos) we were told 10 mins wait on food. The baguettes took 40 and the nachos another 10mins, after asking for them twice. They did refund them, but it didn't redeem the visit. The 2 staff just apologised because it was just 2 of them, but one was on food and one serving. The delay seemed due to the person doing the food, apparently unable to take it to anyone. This is not somewhere I could recommend to anyone for lunch, especially for work.

Sat in the sofas by the window and enjoyed a couple of nice ales and some tasty cake. The staff are friendly and the service was good.

A quick stop for food ended up looking around this amazing place, so many wonderful antiques on sight. Oh yes and they serve food.

Met a friend for lunch at Hops café today. Lovely relaxed and natural atmosphere. Non of the pretentious vibe that you sometimes get at certain cafés. We both had jacket potato which was, thankfully, a proper baked in the oven potato and not cooked in a microwave. The fillings were a generous portions.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Draught beer a bit expensive though.

Really quirky and interesting! Great location next to the station, amazing to have a drink and snack before browsing the antiques. Love it!

A very unique place, difficult to describe without going there yourself. Great if you want something different, or just a place to drink and chat with friends. I wouldn't rate the food as anything special, but it's fine if you just need a bite to eat. The indoor seating area also shows train departures up on two screens.

Oh. My. Goddess. The cake is to die for, accompanied by a very tasty cuppa or coffee. As if that wasn't enough the place is dog friendly!

Divine vegan chocolate cake and lovely coffee, can recommend.

A little pretentious but good place for an after work drink especially as they offer a 10% discount to local businesses.

Directly opposite the station. Quirky decor, very friendly staff and exceptionally reasonably priced. Went in the morning whilst waiting for train. Had the sausage cob and a 'phat white'. The sausage cob was no frills (sausage in a lightly buttered and toasted roll) but very tasty and pleasingly straightforward. Coffee was also good (and came with a bourbon biccie. Result.) If you're waiting for a train, don't go to Starbucks or Costa, come here instead and get a cob in your gob.

Quirky and fun. A modem cafe bar with craft beer on tap, good service but slightly pricey. Attached to Hopkinsons which is always good for a browse.

Brill. Quirky place, a must visit place across the road from the station!

One of the most chilled out spaces I've been in Nottingham, Connor and Rikki were amazing during a very busy period. Rikki's potatoes are second to non, highly recommend! 🥔 ⛅
