Drinks was served with quick efficiency, nicely chilled, and good quantity for the price. Was able to take your drinks outside as well as the weather was nice. The atmosphere was not good at all as there a was few men that was arguing in which got somewhat out of hand and they did it in front my daughter, and other kids that was there as well.

Beautiful and well kept little boozer. When I was there it was quiet but the staff were really nice. They had some wonderfully old tunes playing in the background. I'm sure it gets much livelier at night. 😊

A true hidden gem. A couple of weeks ago during a business trip we visited with a couple of colleagues, and we absolutely loved it. Prices are very affordable and the guests (who visibly come back daily) are very welcoming.

Attended for a family funeral honestly the best spread I've come across qmd hospitality was second to none. Only fault is there wasn't a baby changing facility or disabled access but we managed.

A proper local, no frills boozer. In what many consider an unfriendly city, I was chatting to the barman and patrons within a few sips of my (very affordable) pint! Places like this need supporting.

Let's start with a laugh. A great pub, the Hope and Anchor next to All Saints Church, beer is blessed! Great welcome and a great bunch of people. A good few keg beers on the T bars and even a cask ale potentially on offer. A pub of raconteurs, lovely tales. A great place to visit.

A lovely evening with Halloween entertainment and live singing. Fabulous atmosphere and great service. A little gem of a pub, will be back

Super friendly Cockney Pub. Locally known as The Dead House. Owing to the fact anyone who dies on the Thames is put in a coffin in the basement before burial.

Found this pub on google whilst staying in East London. Came in to 4 locals who welcomed us. Place filled up as there was a singer on at 9pm. Omg had a blast dancing the night away. Drinks good prices and amazing landlord who was super welcoming. If we’re ever in this neck of the woods (bit of a long way from Cardiff), we’d be back in a heartbeat. Thanks for being so welcoming.

What u see is what u get. Kenneth Is a lovely bloke. Should get a craft beer in like siren or something to comfort those that recently lost their greenwich pensioner just around the block.

Just popped in for a soft drink and to use the facilities and had a nice chat with the barman since it was empty. Very friendly and *gasp* inexpensive compared to other pubs. Would recommend if you're passing by.

Attended a wake in the pub for a friend's mum and the staff was really lovely. Welcomed everyone.

Would recommend this place if you're with someone and would like to have a chit-chat. The staff were all friendly. Very limited selection of drinks but great nonetheless.
