The food was super good and the gulab gimlet cocktail was amazing.

In starters chicken 65 was great, paneer tikka was average. Main course was really disappointing. Bhuna chicken tasted like boiled chicken. Methi chicken was really flavorless. Their breads were good. Overall I won’t recommend based on my experience.

This is my local restaurant and I have been here several times before. All were 5 star experiences. So it is by those high standards that I rate yesterday only average. The food quality was average at best and served lukewarm. The samosas did not look like any samosas I have seen before. The service inattentive despite low occupancy. Why bring a dessert menu and go without telling customers that only one option was available? Nothing we wanted was available which was disappointing.The coffee was actually awful. Come on Holy Cow please get back to your previously high standards.

Holy cow, the food here was very tasty, well presented and at a good price. Sat outside on the terrace which is always a bonus in London. Would recommend and certainly come back again.

The dishes were very lovingly prepared. Tasty and authentic in taste. The steamed dumplings and Nanbrot were highly recommended.

Got a variety of dishes from this place. The curry was amazing, plenty of meat. The samosas were insanely good (lamb). The only thing I didn’t really like was the taste of the mint yogurt dip but that’s personal taste.

The food over here is really nice for starters but the main course is average and the service was good as it was not that crowded. Overall a good place in London for fine done.

Another amazing takeaway from our local Holy Cow. The Chilli Lamb and Saag Gosht as lovely as always. I think the secret of this place is that they just don't compromise or engineer down to a price... the ingredients and quality come first, and the price is the price. Good for them. Delicious

Paneer Nawabi was excellent. One of the best Paneer Dishes I have ever had. Garlic Naan was great and the Aloo Tikki Chaat too. Service could improve however. I ordered Papdi Chaat for starters but was served Aloo Tikki Chaat. And I also felt the waiter could have been friendlier.

This place was delicious! Simply the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time, and the staff was super friendly. The atmosphere and ambience is the perfect mix of quite and inviting where each table feels as it’s its own island. Beautifully decorated and dimly lit, the restaurant vibes transport you away from the bustle that surrounds. The staff helped us to tailor our taste with the menu and ensured throughout the meal that everything was to our liking. They even helped us pick a very delicious dish for our son who is a very picky eater. He actually ate it (mind blown)! The portion sizes are huge! Hopefully, you wear your stretchy pants. We all ordered our own food but eventually shared and still had some left over. The naan is very fresh and very delicious. They have a hot sauce that’s not too hot but flavorful. The butters chicken and chicken biryani are incredible. I can’t say enough about the food. Also, they have a full list of wines and beers but I did not see a dessert list. For my family of four with more food than we could finish, we paid 85 quid. FYI, the tip was included. If you’re from out of town, the tax is built in. If you see an extra charge, that’s the tip. Overall, this is a great place! Beware though, there is a chance of overeating. I did. Enjoy!

I never write reviews, but feel obliged to after this, as this is probably the most disappointing curry I’ve ever had - and I love a curry. I ordered the Murg Bhuna Spiced with Pilau Rice and Peshwari Naan on Uber Eats. It arrived in ready meal style packaging (sealed plastic film over the plastic containers) which made me sceptical, but turned out to be very fitting because if you told me it was a Tesco Ready Meal - I would have believed you! Extremely minimal flavour (if any). So bland and genuinely tasted like the Tesco Chicken Tikka Masala ready meal with just a hint of spice thrown in. The only small saving grace was the Peshwari Naan which wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but was quite nice. Definitely won’t be visiting or ordering from this restaurant again. If you want a proper curry then avoid this place.

The food was really nice but the atmosphere is lacking and for some bizarre reason the waiter insisted on seating us right on top of the only other people in the restaurant! Anyway, not important! The food is definitely the star of the show which is, I think, rather important! I suspect if the place were full the acoustics might be a little much, but who knows. For me, I'll definitely get a takeaway in the future but not planning on rushing back to eat in!

Love holy cow. Been getting holy cow takeaways from battersea and angel for years, so very excited to have a branch near me! Although I find this branch to be not as light and healthy as the other branches, in particular lamb spinach and chicken magalore. I have now ordered from narrow st three times, and each time I thought it was too salty and oily compared to Angel/Battersea. Would be really good if you could be consistent with your other branches.

She was a wonderful waitress who was very attentive, polite, warm and friendly. This made my dining experience all the more enjoyable and I will be dining there again soon. The restaurant is located in a lake beautiful quiet environment In the restaurant we were immediately greeted by a very courteous and friendly staff who have us concerns almost read from the lips. Madhu and the entire staff have served us really very well and made us a nice evening. Great, personal service. The curry is probably good for British taste - creamy and not very spicy/complex. When asked to make more spicy - seemed to simply dump chilly into the dish. But a very nice restaurant.

A really nice Indian Restaurant located in Narrow Street, London. I would recommend the Butter Chicken, the best I have tasted. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend if you want a good Indian meal.

Very happy they opened another location in Limehouse, Holy Cow is my favorite Indian take out. Absolutely love the butter chicken and as mentioned by others the complimentary poppadoms are really delicious and a sweet gesture.

A new find for us and have been twice. Staff are wonderful and the food is very good. Decor is also nice, however take the fake flowers away from the entrance and replace with more plants like figs to keep it looking modern.

Plenty of space on a Monday evening. The food is very tasty indeed, and the service is pleasantly attentive. Don’t be put off by photos of a building: it is on the square off Narrow Street. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
