Hooked Fish & Grill in Bexley

I ordered 2 pies and 1 large chips, one of the pies had to be heated up which took a few minutes but I didn’t mind waiting. When we got home a few minutes later the pie was cold but just heated up in the microwave so not a big issue. The biggest problem was the chips, they were disgusting, think it must have been the oil they used as the taste was very unpleasant, won’t be going back here again.

The steak and kidney pie was very cold and the chips were cold. I’m a very regular customer and am very disappointed

The food was delicious chicken tikka and tandoori however mixed kebab was missing the lamb so a bit disappointed by that

I ordered 2 Rock and chips. £9.90+£3.20 £26.20. There was very little fish in the batter, we were very disappointed and will not be going back.

Always freshly cooked and great food!

I ordered Cod and chips tonight 16th march. The chips were lovely fresh and hot. The cod I was expecting was not Cod I know my fish very well. I'm really not happy my evening meal has been spoilt. After this I wouldn't go back or recommend.

I don’t get fish and chips that often but was really looking forward to it as it is a treat, it didn’t disappoint, the rock was so fresh and the tasty and the chips were proper fish and chip shop chips

SOLID fish and chips, girthy portions and excellent service. The only fish and chip shop open at 5pm on a Sunday!

I just had fish and chips delivered but the batter on fish was not cooked so it didn’t taste very nice

I would have loved to have taken a photo of the tandoori chicken but i couldn't wait to eat it. Freshly made in the oven with a nice soft pitta bread . Suptiously delicious 😋😋😋

We ordered skate and plaice and both were delicious and portion size is big. Will definitely come back They even gave us a free portion of chips which was quite big. It was a really nice gesture

Great food, all prepared fresh. Service was also great, with more cod bites than ordered and some free wedges too. Would recommend.

Hooked fish&grill you guys scammed me and my mates Sam and Hannah for £2-5pound my friend put a review and you guys said "doesn't help the fact your username is random user" like why would you care this place before 2017 would good pls improve!!!

The tandoori wraps in this place are delcious. Generous portions and super flavours. Service is friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

It’s not cheap, but then you wouldn’t expect it to be when it’s the best chip shop south of the river. Good quality food and service. The best curry sauce I’ve ever had. Worth every penny!

Best chip shop around, food is always fresh and staff are so friendly

We only had chips but it wasn't the best. I thought it was a tad expensive and they are using old oil so the chips we very greasy and brown. The Frying pan was shut otherwise that's the go to.

Dear Hooked owners, I came as the last customer today (saturday). You guys rock! The batter on my cod was crispy, beautiful and succulent! They always say Indians know how to fry food the best! Gorgeous fish n chips! Whole family enjoyed it! Make amritsari fish! I will defo buy.

Good size portion , fish and chips

I was recommended this chippy by a local and although I wanted a nan bread kebab, actually went with the lage cod and chips and wolfed it down, it was yummy. I want to go back and try the curry and kebab

This was the first time I had ever used it but i would recommend it and I WILL be going back again as the food was cooked fresh to order and tasted AMAZING. They also took phone orders and delivery too.

Great food. If you fancy chicken tandoori and chicken tikka with their home made bread for a change you wont be disappointed. Or their Chicken or lamb curry

Absolutely awesome place for decent grilled indian food. The chicken tikka with naan has been great since they started this few years back, but the new additions with the tandoori chicken wings, the fish tikka and paneer tikka is simply mind blowing! Cant think of many (or any) place that does tandoori fish tikka and chicken wings that are freshly made. 110% recommend this place for indian food lovers and trust me...if indian people are getting thier food from here...ur missing out if you havent tried yet!

Excellent 1st time I have used them

Thought I try this shop as I always drive past it, ended up throwing most of it away. I ordered cod and chips. Was disgusting as the batter was soggy, thick and gooey..!! Asked the guy for some tartare sauce he had no idea what I was on about and also did not know how to operate the till.

We ordered of just eat 3 saveloys, 2 sausages, curry roll, small and large chips. Our order arrived and we had 1 sausage missing and 2 saveloys, also the chips were still hard. We rung them up and the girl who worked there said she had put everything in when she hadn't the guy I was talking to apologised and said they had no vehicle to deliver and would i go and pick it up and I said no cos we dont drive and he said we could have a free meal next time we r in. But that leaves us very hungry now so we have ordered off another shop to deliver us the rest of our order. Wont be using these again

Fantastic food with really friendly atmosphere, we went late but nothing was a bother for them.

Still had 40 mins till closing and staff ran out back door leaving doors open and no one inside bran past as looked at us and carried on running will avoid this from now on

Lovely customer service. Best fish and chips shop in town. Brilliant new menu with an Indian specials . Tandoori chicken and tikka with cooked to order naan bread. Fish is always crispy and chips always tasty. I highly recommend anyone passing by this area .

Best fish 'n' chips we've had in years.

From order I had to wait 20 minutes for my order, complete disarray. When I eventually got my doner wrap and chips the meat was hardly cooked and had to be thrown. The chips were oily and not good. Bad experience.

I have to say meeting VJ was one of the greatest experiences of my life until he took 45 minutes to cook the burger. It had a very impressive smell i must say.
