I would give zero rating if I could. He hung up on us when it’s clearly his mistake. He gave us the wrong dish but when we called asking for compensation, he told us to bring the food back. We were 30 minutes away so we told him we can’t do it, but he should compensate us nonetheless since he screwed up the order, when we return next day. He then just hung up on us. Never buy from this place.

The man received the call for takeaway had poor service! It's contradictory that he insisted on receiving cash only but still asked which way I wanted to pay! When I replied if I could pay by card or transfer, he insisted on receiving cash only! Moreover, he had known the prices of their menu here were NOT updated but still did NOT update them! Being from Hong Kong, I knew their so-called Kung Po chicken was NOT authentic, it was just made like sweet & sour chicken. When requested to refund, that guy said rudely "No refund" and also cut the phone line absruptly! I'll never order from them again.

Sorry, I can not share about the food, I never got any. Drove 4 miles to get to only to see a sign on the door saying we only take cash. It's 2023! Who carries that much cash? Went to the chippy instead! The only reason a store would not take cards now is for tax dodging.

Food really is lovely, however I was let down by finding a hair in the curry! :( shame as it's been a childhood favourite place and has a 5 star hygiene rating. I know things can happen and owners have changed, but I can't give it 5 star after finding this. Despite all the bad reviews and this could be a one off, the food is still good.

Advertised as open on Wednesdays but closed when I went up there Have been a regular for years but since new owners, food not as good and now reliability in question. If it's not going to be open when it says it is, I'll start going elsewhere. Shame.

Mushroom curry and veg Kung po absolutely amazing, tasty and v warm even after long drive home.

After reading reviews I was slightly sceptical. We had a really tasty takeaway. Friendly lady taking phone order and although I didn't go to collect it apparently they were also very pleasant. Would recommend and will be returning.

I have always enjoyed my meals from the hong kong house. It is a reasonable price for what it is although thwre have been occasions where i have not recieved exactally what we ordered but otherwise it is a nice choice if you want to mix it uo a bit

Probably the best Chinese around Truro and is the only one that I know of that does salt and chilli spare ribs, they are absolutely delicious.

After reading the reviews, I expected a yummy Chinese. I was very dissapointed. The quater crispy duck pancakes was half a dry duck breast sliced. The spring rolls were terrible, not hand made and more like the spring rolls you'd buy in the frozen isle at Iceland with a mushy inside. The duck with plum sauce was dry especially as the sauce came separate in a tiny tub. To sum it up, the meat was dry and quality was awful. Worst takeaway ever (and that's saying something) I would never eat here again.

Never know when they will close. Called on a Monday and Sunday to no avail. Dont take debit cards. Cash Only! Poor business practice!

Sadly the business has changed hands and the food tastes terrible. So sad. It's an end of an era.

Been having this chinese since a child and they were Wing Lok. They moved to Threemilestone and being the best in Truro we would drive to get our favourites. I agree with the reviewer that said something has changed. It definitely has. Different staff, a man we've never seen before and the food was cooked very differently. Not much flavour and the dishes we've loved for years like special curry was missing things like mushrooms and had a red colour to it. We didn't enjoy it. Is this place under new management?

Something has changed. We always enjoyed our favorite meal. Special fried rice with satay sauce. I was told that they had no prawns but would put extra chicken and pork in. The special fried rice was bland and the satay sauce was like spicy wall paper paste. The owner wanted me to bring it back for him to taste. A tall order to drag myself back from Constantine to Truro. Then Tuesday they are shut. Will not go there again.

Excellent Chinese, thoroughly enjoyed, fresh ingredients, tasty and well cooked. However, our duck in plum sauce was missing the sauce... Would still highly recommend though! Very good.

The food has always been ace, not have a bad one yet and person behind the counter always are nice. I've been more times than I can count(7-8times at least this year alone). Would recommend over any in Truro. Made a mistake and ordered a delivery on a Tuesday from somewhere else and hated it binned most of it so ended up in this Chinese on the Wednesday as i don't feel i had had a Chinese. I have read several of the reviews and the only one I would say has any merit is the not taking card payment as I don't really use cash and so the change I have in my wallet normally until the next time I get a Chinese which is pain especially at the moment when cash is not what anyone wants in their hands or around their food and definitely not what someone wants to recieve change of that other have handled. Basically come on guys come in to 21st century and take card payment and your takeaway would be perfect!!!

This is the second time I visited this takeaway I was welcomed with yeah .gave my order took home only 5 minutes walk only to find the food lukewarm and definitely not fresh, the chips were stale the rice greasy ,sorry to say I will not be going there again..

After reading the reviews we thought we would give this place a try. Drove all the way from Newquay too. Disappointed to say the least. Chips....drowning in salt. Rice....dry. Noodles.......dry and tasteless. Prawn crackers......more like garlic crackers. Won't be bothering with this place again.

Decent Chinese take away. The sweet and sour pork wasn't the best I've tried (way too sour, and the batter on the pork was not great and was rather thick). Satay chicken was brilliant, and the chow mein wasn't overly greasy like you get in some other places. Service was pretty quick. Place is cash only, but there's a cash machine by the spar shop next door.

Been a customer since day one. Great food, cheerful owners, and most of all, I only live 150 yards away.. They only close early if there is no one in the shop.

Recently moved to the area and have had a couple of good meals from here.

Had the Phoenix fried rice and it was very nice. Chips were poor though. Overall this has a good reputation with the locals.
