Hong Kong House in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Normally I have no issues with the food I order.. chicken and sweetcorn soup.. king prawn and black bean sauce with ried rice .. all good.. tonight I thought I'd treat myself too some satay chicken skewers.. avoid.. totally disgusting.. overcooked chicken and tasteless sauce .. I am extremely disappointed 👎

The best beef in black bean sauce and egg fried rice but please bring back the xialongbao I miss them ☹️

Salt and chilli chicken.. without the chilli! Normally by now my palms are sweaty, knees weak arms are heavy but so far nothing, taste buds are laughing at me!

I just ordered food specifically vermicelli I said don’t put chilli any items, it was so chilli on curry powder so much curry powder put could not eat really hot 🥵

Our favourite Chinese takeout, always good food. Always onetime if not early when we order for a delivery.

No idea what the food is like. I tried ordering a large order online to bulkington which is literally 2.6 miles away. Order not accepted as they don't deliver that far. 7 mins drive away. £73 order too. I'm glad they are doing so well that they can afford to only serve within a 2 mile radius. Ridiculous. Saying that , looking at some other reviews I've probably had a lucky escape.

Have recently started using the Chinese takeaway and have been impressed with the service and food.

Ordered special fried rice and got delivered an egg fried rice and some meat and veg in a watery liquid so rang Hong-Kong House and was told "this is how their customers like it" ??? Since when has special fried rice been served that way!!! 🤔 very disappointed and won't be ordering from them again ...

Ordered beef with mushrooms, it came in black bean sauce which I never expected. Very disappointed hate black bean sauce and couldn’t eat it. Overall poor quality and won’t be using it again

Haven't been here for ages, but ordered a meal last night and couldn't fault it! Fresh hot and tasty. Very good.

We usually go to a Chinese restaurant a bit further on but it was closed so gave Hong Kong House a try and loved it, not going back to the other now sorry.

Asked for half a duck, got a plastic tub not even half full with duck meat and no crispy skin. Plastic tub also had the 2 packets of pancakes in. Very expensive uncrispy duck and cash only as well.

Service here is fast, reliable and good quality. Rapidly becoming a favourite

So happy they are open again. Always had been our favourite. New year's take away last night did not disappoint. All four of us very happy with some wonderful hot meals delivered to us....chicken balls, curry, chips, chow mein, shredded beef, rice, spring rolls....all spot on. Could not fault it! Brilliant food, brilliant service. Thank you!

Ordered a takeaway which arrived quickly and hot. Really enjoyed the dry ribs which were good quality with plenty of meat. The vegetarian spring rolls were a nice balance of filling and pastry. Singapore rice was really good, hot and spicy with plenty of meat mixed in. Chips, rice and curry sauce in a tray also spot on. Will certainly order from here again.

One of the worst Chinese i have ever had. Everything was overcooked. Satay chicken was so dry it was almost inedible. Chicken balls where overly crispy and incredibly chewy. Sweet and sour source was brown and tasted more like gravy. Crispy beef was slimey and bland. Chips were standard oven chips and somehow also hard and dry. How do you mess up chips? The only thing was even remotely ok was the rice. Avoid this place at all costs!

Ordered a Chinese for my boys birthday, and was very disappointed! He wanted to try duck in plum sauce, they delivered duck in sweet and sour sauce, fatty meat, sauce did not go! He didn't like it! Food was cold took over an hour to deliver! Not impressed at all.. Will not be ordering again!

What an amazing meal last night from Hong Kong House. Delivery within 35 minutes, massive portion size, nice and hot, tasty, perfect service and price reasonable, was sooo tasty. Will definitely be using again thank you Hong Kong House x

First and last time I'm going to use this Chinese, we hardly ate any of it!!. Chiang Yang in abbey green is by far a better Chinese rather than this stodge....never again

Hi well i had a chicken curry and the chicken was not cooked not much curry sauce i told them about it sent me one more and still wos nit that good so i had to throw it away

I was a bit skeptical as I just moved to Nuneaton and I have ordered from different Chinese restaurants which was tasteless, but everything ordered from Hong Kong house were delicious and freshly made. We enjoyed it.

Hi would like to say.I had a chicken fried rice and pork ribs with slice of 🍋 woh.the rice was white rice not that cheap brown rubbish.my partner had breast of chicken Cantonese style and was impressed.will be ordering again.At last a good Chinese takeaway and I have tried lots.thankyou Hong Kong house 😁

Undercooked, greasy chicken, slimy batter, anaemic egg-fried rice, all round awful Chinese. Much prefer the old owners, won't be back in a hurry.

Under new ownership, Not impressed at all! I can't begin to put in words what was wrong, bring back the old owner's.

Some haters on here Asian ones too I don't eat meat anymore when I did was my favourite

Even an Asian doesn't like this.... Such a crap takeaway. Spare ribs didn't even look like ribs rather pork joints...urgh.. too oily curry sauce! Done for me. Never going to try next time!
