Good food and very quick delivery

The food was delicious, hot and tasted just like it always does, pretty awesome!

Ordered in advance for delivery at 6 pm came on time delivery lady was very polite was piping hot really enjoyed it and is now our new favourite Chinese. Thank you guys x

Red hot food and arrived earlier than expected

The sweet and sour pork balls and sauce,beautiful, The spring rolls,nice and fresh.The rest Shocking!The wonton and prawn toast had NO Filling At All!Greasy toast and filo pastry fried,that's it,Oh the fried rice was OK,needed seasoning.Do Not buy appetisers,absolute waste if money!N the big Nooooo is the crispy beef in honey,Like trying to eat boiled sweets,Saw No beef at all,So hard,unedible!Expensive n not edible most of it.

Lovely food but was disappointed when I didn't get some free spring rolls or prawn crackers free after spending £32

Great Chinese’s however forgot our fried rice dish

Yes realie nice but very expensive for the small portions you get. There is one a little further up the road called T n T what is much nicer and big portions

The best salt and pepper box I have ever eaten! Will never not order from here it’s amazing, only started ordering from this Chinese at the start of 2023 but I’m glad I did

Only criticism was that one of the soup lids wasn’t On correctly and soup was all over the inside of the bag

I use Hong Kong express all the time. this time the expected delivery was almost 2 hours after ordering. it came early which wasn't a problem. obviously...however, it was all freezing cold. as though it had been in the delivery drivers car for hours.

Not as good as usual unfortunately. Hardly any meat on the bbq ribs. Won ton soup was bland, usually nice and spicey. Chow mien was good.

Food came 30minutes earlier than stated and was piping hot. Driver was brilliant

Got a salt and pepper box it was mostly filled with chips and only got one rib but it was great food and cooked to perfection 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 go easy on the chips tho guys WOW

"Honey," crispy beef surely has to be false advertising because there was no honey to speak of. It was golden syrup, and it was absolutely swimming in it, and the beef has a very ashy taste to it. I love this takeaway, but that is definitely a dish i will be avoiding in the future

The food was delicious as usual. Those salt & pepper starter boxes are a must!!!! I get one for myself, and that's me sorted. Definitely recommend them and the Hong-Kong Express. As for being delivered an hour early, I think they put the wrong time down. If you took an hour off, they'd be bang on time. I had a feeling, so I was expecting the food...

We wont be ordering again the food gave us all upset stomachs

Food was nice, however I ordered pancake rolls and was charged for pancake rolls but was sent vegetarian spring rolls

Very fast in delivery but food was not great. The duck with plum sauce had an horrible taste, had a bite only! For sure I won’t order again.

Never had salt and pepper chips so spicy in my life. The whole takeaway was ruined as none of us could eat after trying them. Literal chilli powder all over them. Horrific.

Far too much salt and pepper spice on all of the items making it all taste pretty much the same. Ribs, wings and salt and pepper chicken were all over cooked and the chips were also well done. The only thing slightly enjoyable were the veg spring rolls and the rice and curry sauce. Was recommended to get this by a friend but I certainly won’t be recommending to any one else which is a shame as this is normally a decent Chinese takeaway restaurant.

Says on your paper menu that chips are free with so many dishes but when you buy from just eat they are not ... sort it out please or we will not be ordering anymore

Went and order my food when I pick up and got home with it looked like my chicken fried rice was just boiled rice with chicken it was cold my soft noodles and special chow main was just warm but had that much pepper in it your lips where numb I and my husband did not end up eat are meals but the bit we did has left us feeling unwell

My go to Chinese food supplier! Never have an issue when I order from here unlike every other restaurant I’ve ordered from ! Food is always hot, tastes fantastic, value for money. I highly recommend Hong Kong express. I’m one very happy customer.

Very disappointing, we ordered the Kung pao chicken and cashew beef but it was basically just a huge pile of onions with a bit of frozen veg, old beef/ chicken, and a questionable sauce. I needed to wash my mouth out after it tasted that horrible. Never again.

Used this takeaway lots of times. It was nice to start with and now I won’t use it again! Ribs was burnt, salt a pepper box was excessively dry. Extreme let down wouldn’t recommend!

No prawn crackers again!!!! When you order over the phone and pay cash you always get free ones so it on just way pay a fortune for them and they don’t send them!!!!!

Was unhappy that my sweet and sour sauce was delivered and the bottom of the tub was broken so sauce was spilled everywhere when I removed It, the whole bottom had fallen through and I ended up with pretty much no sauce

We got two beef curry's I got more onion then beef & the beef didn't taste like beef actually it didn't taste of anything such a bland meal for a Chinese. Got a couple of peas & about one mushroom cut into 4 peices. We used to love this place too certainly gone hill really bad.

Ordered nearly £60 of food didn't even send any prawn Crackers. Chips dry tasted reheated. The fried rice dishes all taste the same, no flavour. Don't think ill bother again

Came much earlier which I was happy about as in just eat it said Hong Kong express wasn’t taken orders till 6.55! It came early ! All nice and hot and tasty 😋. This is the only Chinese restaurant I trust. Thanks guys for the great food !!

JUST EAT CUSTOMERS BEWARE - been using this Chinese for around a year now twice if not three times a week. I thought I would order on Just Eat tonight and placed my order on my new just eat account, after 20 minutes the restaurant refused my order. I called the restaurant and asked why they refused my order and he advised me ‘we dont take new just eat customer only previous customers’ Good job we checked the order on the app. The Chinese should be grateful for any business new or old in this difficult time they all say they are experiencing. Bad way to run a business and lost us a customer for this comment and let down.

The beef chow Mein was just dry noodles and beef, there was no sauce or vegetables, disappointing.

Ok sauce was tasty, chicken not so great - very chewy and stringy. Salt and pepper chips were chips heavily covered in 5 spice and part of order didn’t arrive and it was sent after a phone call to the take away and it arrived 20mins later. Wouldn’t order again

Our usually take away was closed so took a chance on Hong Kong express… all I can say is wow! Big portions and very tasty food. Although it’s a bit more expensive than our usual take away was worth it.

Wrong food was delivered after waiting over an hour

This evening we placed a very large order with Hong Kong express that was over £50 . The food came spilt all over the bag. It honestly looked like someone had played foot ball with our bag of food. The food we managed to salvage tasted awful, plain and tasteless. I did ring Hong Kong Express to complain and all they could offer to resolve the matter was more chips and curry sauce not the 5 meals that had all opened in the bag. Very disappointed

Absolutely gorgeous food. I was a little reluctant to order from here as they are a little pricey compared to where I normally go but thought one last blow out and treat kids we all really enjoyed our food and will order again even tho a little pricey.

Tried this restaurant for a change recently as our usual was closed. Tried the veggie ‘chicken’ and many other things. I actually now prefer this menu to our usual Chinese so have ordered for the second time today.

I had the salt and pepper rice box, wasn't as nice as previously when I ordered. The food had 0 spice to it, also ended up with deep fried chicken that shouldn't of been in the box,1 spare rib with no meat totally disappointing 😑. Wont be ordering again

What was once a really good takeaway, is now run by young chinese lads, who fill out their meals with each portion full of sliced onions. Gone well down the slippery slope.

Spent a lot of money received no free prawn crackers or bottle of pop. Paid by card but delivery driver demanded we pay with cash and to give him the food back. We proved we’d paid and he was rude and said well if you’ve paid why would they give me change?! Debating to order here again normally it’s great but today it was unsatisfactory
